Throne of blood & thorns

“The one you don’t have feelings for will be the one you fall for. But the one you think you adored once will be the one you will hate with your soul. Beware of the sweet honey that will blind your judgment, but follow the scent of flowers. They will be the answer to your hunch. And remember, you are nothing but a pawn to these up high, so keep your eyes open and your mouth shut.” When Akila, a normal young girl, is kidnapped to have an offspring in order to provide an heir for her king, she is thrust into the middle of a power struggle between the gods and the mortal realm. Chapter 70

Akila,

Fortnight!

It has been over two weeks, and Akila didn't hear anything from Ramses or Seth.

She was still in this shed as a glorified prisoner, with no one asking about her health or even caring how she was faring.

Her sister and friend were getting so agitated that they ended up sparing to waste their time and energy.

Akila wished to join them but with her state, she won't be able to match them, that is if they even let her do it.

She huffed as she watched the two girls arguing with each other.

They wanted to head outside to buy things they need but neither of them wanted to stay home.

The young queen watched them argue for so long that she got frustrated in the end, so she just stood up, searching for her cloak.

"What do you think you are doing, Akila?"

Heba snapped at her younger sister and Akila didn't respond as she continued to tie her cloak.
