21.New Federation

Star City, inside a villa,

A young man was sleeping peacefully, like he doesn't have any burden's in this life.

Suddenly he finger started to twitch, as he opened his eyes. He still looks unfocused. But gradually his eyes started to became clear and started remembering the events that transpired before he fell unconscious.

" Elaina" thinking that he suddenly seat up on the bad. And Started to look around anxiously.

" Don't worry, she is fine." At this time system voice sounded. And hearing this he became little relaxed.

" So what happened, where are we ? And what happened to the compitition?"

After calming down, he started to ask multiple questions consequently.

" Hey, hey, slow down, and don't worry the competition has been suspended until tomorrow. And we are currently in a villa given by the city lord."

" City lord, why would he give us a villa. And why can't I remember anything?"

" A lot of things happened in the morning, first tell me how much do you remember?" System asked , he was still little bewildered by Ethan's sudden transformation.

" I...I just remember Elaina saving me and her blood all over the place, but after that nothing else." Ethan tried to remember but a splitting headache unabled him to do so.

" So can you tell me now what happened, and where is Elaina."

" First thing first, i think because of extrime anger or emotionally unstable you transformed. "

" What do mean I transformed."

" That's exactly, what I mean. You were like a different person. With badass look. But because of your incomplete transformation , you were little violent."

" Are you talking about the transformation skill that I just learnt."

" No it was different, and way domineering. It took 3 A level individual and Elaina to take you down. "

" I was that powerful, even Elaina couldn't stop me alone. " Thinking about this he became anxious and hurriedly ask.

" Did I kill someone or hurt them."

" Yup, you did kill someone. But they deserved it. " System still can't forget the scene he saw in the morning.

" You were like killing machine, with just your bare hand. You gauged his heart out. Even though it was bloody but cool at the same time."

" You are being wierd now. Don't talk like a fan girl. And tell me did someone saved Elaina."

" Why would she needs someone to save her. You are forgetting that she is not a normal human. And as a plant based lifeform she has dozen of times more vitality then any other human at the same level.so that kind of injuries are nothing to her."

" It's been really a wierd day Huh. But as a human , how can I transformed into something else?"

" When I first saw your status panel, I had my doubts but today it is confirmed."

"What?" Ethan asked hurriedly, he doesn't have patience to stay in suspense for now.

" I think, you are not pure human Ethan. You have a half human but the other half is unknown."

" Even you can't figure it out, system suppose to be omniscient right."

" Keep dreaming, for now it's impossible to know. So just focus on getting stronger." Thinking about it, Ethan nodded. He doesn't want be helpless like this time again.

Just as he was about to ask some more questions. The door to the room opened from the outside. As Elaina walked in with least less spirit.

The light in her eyes were down, as she had cried for many hours continuously. Then suddenly she heard a voice.

" How are you Elaina?"

Lifting her head to look, she found Ethan looking at her with a smile.

After looking at him absent minded for a while, suddenly she reacted and pounch onto him and started crying her heart out.

Looking at the sorry girl in his embrace, Ethan remembered how she risked her life to protect himself. And couldn't help but hugged her back. All the hasitation swept away at this moment.

They both hugged eachother for quite a while in silence. No word can describe it, what they are feeling. As Elaina started calming down. She broke free from the hug and asked.

" How are you feeling?"

Ethan looked at her, as he caressed her face. " I am fine Elaina, you tell me how are you feeling. Does it still hurts."

Elaina shook her head " no, I am perfectly fine."

This incident was a big trauma for her, but seeing Ethan's change of behaviour. She felt quite happy. And hugged him again.

" Umm.. Elaina " he called out to her , who was hugging him currently

" Yes" she answered while still hugging him.

" Does everyone know about me being transformed."

" So you remembered it." Ethan nodded " just bits and pieces."

" Oh... Actually thanks to city lord's intervention, not many people were able to know. And the people who knows about you, they were asked to remain silent by city lord."

Hearing this ethan was quite bewildered, why city lord is helping them so much. So asked Elaina about it.

" Actually he has one request, "

Creasing his eyebrows he asked" what kind of request."

" He wants us to enroll into one of top 5 colleges, and that we have been thought by city lord since young. i saw there was nothing to loss so i accepted his proposal."

Ethan thought about it for a moment and asked the system." What do think city lord is after "

" I think, he is after the rewards that will be given to every city whose young generation enrolls into the 5 colleges."

After the crises passed, super association and the new federation together brought out a lots of changes in the human society.

The old federation was just an alliance between different countries but this new federation truly became the political power. After removing all the countries from the map. They brought people together to build only cities around the world with high walls.

And they classified this cities into different levels. Like this star City, it's only a 5th level city. Above it , there are 4th level, 3rd level, 2nd level and the last and the only one 1st level city. Or capital city.

And for distribution for resources, they built a competition system with 5 great college.
