Danger On The Road

Once lunch was finished and Nova had been thoroughly exercised, they continued on their way. Riding north until the sun started to set, until they broke for camp for the night. The first day was uneventful, she saw no one and only passed one house all day.

“It’s been a pretty quiet day so far, hasn’t it, Nova?” She said. The tiger briefly paused in its running around the campfire Braelyn had made about a hundred feet from the road. Their tent was set right next to an extremely large tree that provided a nice backrest for Braelyn as she leaned against it. The horse was fed and watered, the tiger had its dinner as well. Braelyn was making her daily log into the first of the many journals her dad had given her to record her travels, she wanted to get this done before the sun fully set, but Nova’s playful attitude was distracting her.
