An Unlikely Rescuer

This cannot be it! This cannot be how it ends! She thought to herself. Think, what can I do to save myself? She knew she had to think fast, but she was at a loss, she was on this journey so she could learn magic to attack people, and she really needed to attack these people now if she was going to survive this. She had her defensive magic, but that didn’t help while the jackass was holding onto her. She couldn’t push him away with a repelling or levitating spell, because while he held her it would just send her with him. She couldn’t put up a barrier because, with him pressed against her, it would just include him inside the barrier. Anything that she could do to the man holding her would affect her as well. It was no use, she could do nothing, even with her silent casting.
