Chapter 26 The Trail of Lightning

Roki and Benimaru were looking at Raju and Raju had blue lighting all around its face and it had circle lightning on its body and it was pushing the lightning out of its body and the fox had lightning blue eyes with striking white flash beneath the eye.

Roki had to look at the fox spirits and look at the lightning coming off of them.

"What is that energy coming off of it?" Benimaru said

"I don't know but we try our best to figuring it out."

Roki and Benimaru must get through Raju so Roki can fight against Susanoo.

"We must go against this power differently."

"What do you mean?"

"Look at that Benimaru. The lightning coming off it is coming from the inside but it seems like it, not his power."

"I been around in this world for a while and you just getting here, and you already figure out what type of power is coming off of it."

"You can say that."

"He is someone that can predict a little bit of the future."

Roki looks as it just could predict the future.

"It looks like the way that it looks now. It looks like Raijin and Fujin just wanted to face off against Susanoo but why?"

"It could be that Raijin and Fujin can be known as demons."

"No, that might not be it."

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it. You said the gods stay in the plain of heaven. So why Susanoo, the god of storms down here?"

"Susanoo-sama always comes down to trick mortals and play games with them but I doubt that there is something that has to do with it."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, he always does that."

"I might not be a god but I do know that mortals don't like that and even if the gods don't care. They probably know that his games will not bring balance to the world."

"I don't know."

"Yeah, you should know because what will happen if he got kick out."

"What?"

Raju was just watching them and there was nothing but an aura of lightning around them.

"You see that."

'Yeah, but how can we get through."

"I don't know but this is crazy though if we not careful then we will be killed by Raju."

"Huh?"

"Look, if we don't take out Raijin then we can't win because Raju would just regenerate."

"That is tricky."

"Yeah, we need to realize something before we go in all in."

Benimaru had used his fire art to cast on his feet and he had moved forward and kick Raju but Raju had to dodge and he had shock lightning out of its mouth and Roki had slashed it in half and Benimaru charge in.

"You will have to jump."

Benimaru had jumped above Raju but Raju had gone up above Benimaru and there it was something that was coming off of its body and there were lightning strikes coming from the circles off his body.

Benimaru uses his fire art.

Fire Art: The swirl of an Inferno river.

The fire had swirled around in front of Benimaru and Roki and there it was that there was nothing that could get through to attack them.

"We got to do something or else we might have trouble."

Benimaru had used the flames to move across Raju body and there it had tide around him and had held him down tight and Roki had slashed through the lightning force and open it for a few minutes and there they had gone inside of it and there they see that Raijin and Fujin were attack Susanoo with all they got but they weren't enough to defeat Susanoo.

"You two must keep forgetting that I am the strongest swordsmen among the gods."

"We haven't forgotten but you need to learn that there is nothing that we can do by that and therefore we not using our power to its fullest but just waiting on you to lose your powers."

"What?"

Benimaru was confused and Roki had a bad feeling about this and then Susanoo had felt his powers fading away and there Raijin had gone into his face and Fujin had cast a wind powerful enough to fly away from the stronger mountains.

"What is that?"

"It a tornado."

Raijin had struck down lightning and it went silent and then a large bomb had gone off and Roki couldn't be found and then Benimaru looks and see that Roki had gotten Susanoo out of the way of the lightning.

"You guys are something else are you."

Raijin couldn't believe that someone else was faster than his lightning and so Raijin had zip toward them and Roki had use a lightning wall to block Raijin.

"What? Why is he using lightning against me? Is this kid dumb or what?"

Raijin smile and charge through but Roki had used his sword and he threw it and it hit Raijin's back and its clashes with him as such against his face.

Raijin had gotten up and he asks Roki, "You think you can defeat me with an attack like that?"

"It not the matter if I can defeat you or not but I got to do something so I can make sure that you don't do anything that can hurt anyone here."

"Why do you care?"

"Because I know I can defeat using the same lightning you using."

"You funny boy."

"Am I. Do you want to try to attack me?"

"Alright then I came at you but you better not regret the decision you just made."

Roki had gone to Raijin and it was so quick that Susanoo was having problems staying with him and so Susanoo felt his powers leaving him and Benimaru had gone over to him and Ask, "Susanoo-sama. Whatever you did. You can fix it."

"I can't fix this. I trick mortals and now I must pay for my actions. I must do it the warrior way."

"But even warriors have trouble sometimes."

"But my troubles."

"You say that like you are alone. Can you see it Susanoo-sama. Roki is fighting so he can prove to himself that he isn't the one to destroy the world but against all these powerful people. Roki still moves forward and he probably has the same idea you have but do you see him doing it alone."

"No, why is he fighting to protect me?"

"Yes."

"But, I don't need his help. I can do this all by myself without any help from him or anyone."

"And that why you down here alone?"

Susanoo had realized the reality of his situation and he was looking at Roki fighting with such force and passion and not once did Susanoo felt any evil intent.

"I wonder. What made this kid such a person that faces any danger with such passion."

"It because He is what you call a hero that has a goal to help others even though he might not know them or anything like that but he knows that he got powers that only he can use and don't you see. The other worlds are coming to an end soon and so he must make sure that he can overcome any challenges."

"What are you going to do?"

"I just watched as if I just an observer. He probably wanted to fight alone."

Above them was a crow and there Morrigan was seeing out of her orb.

"This is getting good. I wonder what they are doing right now. It seems like Athena is going to see his brother but I doubt her charms can get Yoki to see if she is faithful or not. And then Thor, Tyr, and Balder seem like they can't find them yet but I doubt Mimir will tell them anything about going to the Japanese world."

Balder had found any other person that also cam change fate too and it seems like a man with a red tattoo and white skin.

Loki had gone to go off and see his son, the world serpent. Loki blow through the horn and there his son came from out of the depth of the water and he stood as tall as any mountain and his head as big then a large city.

Loki asks his son about the future events and he wanted his son to go after Thor and stop Thor from messing up anything to make him from meeting the fallen demon.

The world serpent told him about Tyr and Odin's plans and how they always never get along with the understanding of Jotun/giants. Loki said, "I know that Tyr has secret ways to different lands and so why is he holding back this information from us and me. I wonder what he uses."

The world serpent didn't want to tell his father anything but Loki understand that he and Thor suppose to fight when it comes to Ragnarok. The world serpent also has a weird feeling about something that Tyr said.

Loki asks, "What is that?"

He said, "It might be a way to prevent Ragnarok from happening."
