Ethan settled into a concealed position. With patience he watched the black-armored beast conduct its reconnaissance on the palace. Hours passed, the sun sinking lower in the sky, casting long shadows across the landscape. Ethan remained still, his Soul Sense keeping him alert to any changes in the environment.As the evening deepened, the black-armored beast finally stirred. Ethan's keen eyes caught movement in the distance—another beast, similarly clad in dark armor, approached the first one. They exchanged a brief silent nod, and the second beast took up the original position, continuing the vigilant watch over the palace.Ethan's senses sharpened, and he activated his Stealth ability, blending seamlessly with the shadows. The first beast now relieved of its watch duty and began to make its way back through the winding paths and hidden trails. He is going back towards the door embedded in the cliff face.Ethan followed silently ensuring himself to remained undetected.
