The temptation of billionaires

Wendy first met the billionaire Dirk at a party hosted by her boyfriend, Glenn. In order to retaliate against Glenn's unfaithfulness, Wendy had a one-night stand with Dirk, and their lives turned into a complex adult game, a high-risk gamble, where the boundaries of right and wrong became blurred, and no one emerged unscathed. However, beneath the surface of this adult game, there is a story of redemption. Dirk had secretly admired Wendy since childhood, and this article reveals how their relationship is fundamentally a mutual journey of redemption. Dirk is a product of arranged marriage by his parents, leading to a lack of love and indifference in his upbringing. It was Wendy's father who gave him a glimmer of paternal love, which initially sparked Dirk's interest in Wendy. Meanwhile, Wendy's life underwent a significant transformation during her high school years; her parents tragically passed away, leaving only her and her aunt. They became mutually dependent, shaping Wendy's character. This story unveils the passionate, complex, and ultimately redemptive journey of two souls intertwined by fate and environment, exploring themes of love, desire, and the pursuit of emotional healing.

she have a strong sense of revenge

Originally, Colin was considering calling it a day, rather than watching Sophia disrupt things.  However, when Hans suggested continuing, Colin felt inclined to join in the spectacle.

Dirk's concern for Wendy, evident in his eyes just moments ago, gradually faded under Wendy's more distant tone.  He resumed his previous attitude of "stranger keep away."

Jefferson was indifferent, it didn't matter to him who he played with.  As he headed towards Wendy, she felt an unexplainable sense of unease when interacting with him compared to Colin and Hans.  It was likely due to her indebtedness to Jefferson's imposing presence.

Wendy instantly felt like she didn't know where to put her hands or feet. She was already beginning to regret continuing the game earlier.

Jefferson appeared to be genuinely concerned as he frowned and watched Wendy's movements.  "Your posture is incorrect;  you're at risk of straining your back," he said, demonstrating by adjusting her stance with a couple of touches.

Wendy nodded, "I understand."

Dirk struggled to conceal his emotions, and he clearly disliked the feeling of being out of control.

"Given the circumstances, why don't you and I, Dirk, play against them?"  Sophia suddenly suggested.

Expecting Dirk to refuse, it was surprising when he silently accepted the challenge, taking a racquet and walking to the other side.  His glare was intense, almost predatory.

Colin felt like whistling and quietly led Sally to the side to watch the spectacle.

Wendy was more comfortable facing off against Dirk than Jefferson, but it was still an unusual experience for her to be standing on the opposite side of him.  The situation had a peculiar intensity.

However, her primary focus was on Sophia.

Jefferson seemed unperturbed by the antagonistic atmosphere between these two, and he began the game, with both teams fiercely competing, barely leaving an opportunity to return the ball.

Sally, enjoying the show with her water bottle in hand, snuggled up to Colin, "Darling, who do you think will win?"

Colin chuckled at her whimsical question, as from his perspective, it was a win-win or lose-lose situation no matter which side triumphed in the game.  "I honestly can't say."

He noticed Hans had already initiated a conversation with a female companion, and Sally muttered, "It seems her figure isn't as good as Wendy's." It was true that Wendy had an incredible figure.

That's true. Colin recalls the first time he saw Wendy and Glen together, and he didn't know how others reacted, but he was basically joking that Wendy must have been blind or had made a mistake in judgment. But fortunately, everything has returned to the right track. Glen? He doesn't deserve to be called a man.

Colin lowered his gaze to Sally and said, "Sweetheart, when you look for a boyfriend in the future, remember to choose a good one.  Otherwise, I'll be worried about you."

Sally's smile froze on her face, but she quickly understood the meaning in Colin's words.     They were almost finished with the game when Sally hooked her arm around his neck, kissed him, and concealed the disappointment in her eyes.

On the court, Wendy found an opportunity and hit the ball directly back, sending it towards Sophia from the same spot.     Sophia screamed and sat down in disbelief, staring at Wendy.     She exclaimed, "Did you dare to hit me?"

Wendy turned to Jefferson and high-fived him.     Just as they were building some synergy, upon hearing Sophia's comment, Wendy innocently responded through the net, "Sorry, Ms. Sophia, it wasn't intentional.     The court has no eyes, after all."

Her tone was annoyingly provocative, making her another Sophia.  But Colin found it quite pleasing to his ears.

"It's finally getting interesting.  Someone came to make trouble for him."

Honestly, Colin was a man, and he didn't want to bother with Sophia's petty schemes.     However, he couldn't shake off this clingy girl, mainly because he and Dirk always hung out together.     She had no sense of personal space and stuck to Dirk like glue, causing Colin a fair amount of annoyance.

Today, he finally got to see her fail, and she wouldn't leave even if he paid her!

After Wendy's remark, she didn't wait for Sophia's response and continued the game.     If Dirk dared to defend her, she'd break up with him right away.     Favors could be repaid, but she couldn't stand this Sophia's attitude.

Dirk glanced at Sophia briefly and then went to receive the ball.     Sophia clutched her chest and realized that no one paid any attention to her.     She was getting angrier, and when she got up, she found herself on the receiving end of the next ball, this time hitting her arm.

She screamed again, and Sally couldn't help but laugh.     "Wendy has quite a temper."

Colin raised an eyebrow.     "Doesn't match her appearance at all, does it?     I remember the first time I saw her;     she looked like a fairy, you know, graceful and delicate.     But then she sat on my friend and almost smashed his head with a wine bottle."

Sally looked surprised. "Really?"

"Can it be fake? she have a strong sense of revenge."

Wendy didn't hold back when she greeted Sophia with the balls, serving one after the other. Some of the hits were meant to scare Sophia.

Sophia was well aware that Wendy was doing this on purpose. She got frustrated, found another ball, and disregarded the rules of the court. She aimed the ball directly at Wendy. After all, why would she let Wendy get the better of her a second time?

Wendy skillfully avoided the shot and playfully remarked, "Why is your aim so off, Ms. Sophia?"

With that, her smile vanished, and she served the ball again.

As the game progressed, Dirk and Jefferson found themselves with little opportunity to play, leaving Wendy to dominate Sophia.

Sophia's performance deteriorated as the game continued, resulting in a complete defeat. However, Wendy, showing sportsmanship, took a breath and said, "Ms. Sophia, you seem tired. Take a break; it's just for fun, don't overexert yourself."

Wendy herself was drenched in sweat and planned to go take a shower and head home.

Sally had enjoyed the spectacle and proactively approached Wendy to go to the locker room together to change.

"Colin said we should all have dinner later."

Wendy wiped her face with a towel and replied, "I think I'll pass. I have some studying to do tonight."

"Really? I thought you were working now?"

Wendy gave a wry smile. "Even with a job, I have just as much to learn as when I was studying. I have to take language courses to accommodate clients and various exams for necessary certifications. It's all stepping stones for me to climb higher in life. I'm not planning to settle for this meager salary forever."

Wendy was fully aware that she was already at a disadvantage from the start.    Her only strength was her determination.    If she gave up even that, she would end up just drifting in one job, and she wouldn't know where to turn if society ever left her behind.

Sally nodded, saying, "I see."

Colin's locker room was just ahead.    She smiled and said, "I'll go change now and wait for you."

"Sure."

When Wendy left earlier, she glanced at Dirk, who was probably out smoking with Jefferson.    She figured they wouldn't be back for a while.    If she moved quickly, she could leave sooner.
