"Why did he let them go like that? They will just come back again! Wait, why is he speaking so much rather than defeating their elder brother?! Is he brain dead or something?!" Aiden exclaimed out loud as he lay on the bed while reading a web novel.

He had used the system's google feature to gain access to reading web novels but he was regretting his decision. Most novels he read were repeating the same things over and over again that even someone like him could predict what would happen next.

< It's called face slapping host. > The system replied as Aiden rolled his eyes.

< Don't roll your eyes host. I have a feeling that you will do something similar in the future. After all, it's a good tactic to bring out the upper members of a place while making the important members observe you. > The system said as he sighed.

"Whatever you think system. Have you interpreted the book by now?" Aiden asked since a week had already passed away.

< It will take me a few more minutes host. > The system replied as Aiden sighed.

'Main Job Screen.' Aiden thought as he stared at the screen with interest to pass some time.

Aiden signed while seeing that his job Exp was still at zero. He had asked the system about it but the system hadn't told him anything saying that the exp will grow when its time will come.

So for now, Aiden could only focus on leveling up his shadow manipulation skill.

'Skill: Liquid Changer V2.' Aiden then decided to check his skill to see how much it had grown.

After changing into V2, the skill progression had rested to level 1. But he had kept using it three times a day when his food had come.

His surrounding then suddenly changed as he appeared in a black space and his eyes widened. But a white flash of light suddenly made him cover his eyes.

< You can open your eyes host. > The system's voice rang inside as Aiden slowly opened his eyes to see the light subsiding.

He was standing in a colorful blue place while star-like shapes were visible in the far places. They shone like beacons of light while asteroid-like objects floated alongside Aiden. He extended his hand to touch the asteroids but was surprised to see that his hand passed right through it.

< It's just a virtual representation host. You can touch anything here but your hand will pass right through it. I thought it was better to bring you here to explain everything. > The system said as Aiden nodded as he looked at himself to see his body floating in the space.

< Anyways host, this world revolves around five main elements which you can already guess. Fire, water, earth, air, and lightning are the five basic elements. Then comes light, dark, shadow, and life elements. Light stands for protection while dark for corruption. Shadow is a mixture of both while life stands for healing. Then they are the special elements derived from the main elements like ice from water, magma from earth and fire, tornado from wind, etc.

But at the top are the supreme elements of time, space, and mirror. There are some hidden unique elements as well like sand etc. but they are extremely rare. But the supreme elements are the rarest. Only 1 in 10 million have them but that's for the demon realm. This is the classification of elements. Now elemental energy is a form of energy present in the living beings here. > The system explained as Aiden looked confused after hearing the last part.

"What do you mean by present in the living beings here?" He asked in a confused tone as the sentence didn't make much sense to him.

< Let me explain in simpler terms. Humans from earth also had this energy inside them but it was simply called energy since they couldn't use it. But the living beings here have a special property that humans on earth didn't have. The beings here have an affinity with one of the elements in their surroundings.

Because of that, their energy changes into something known as elemental energy. If they spend all their elemental energy, it will basically be the equivalent of spending 24 hours working. But people can only have the elemental energy of the elements they have an affinity with. For example – someone with an affinity with water will only have water elemental energy. > The system explained as Aiden nodded.

"Then how can anyone use this elemental energy? I don't think that anyone else has a system like me>" Aiden asked as he wondered whether there would be anyone like him out there.

< You are correct host. There is no one with a system in this world. But they can use elemental energy through chants like the one who used in the battle royal. But only beginners do that. After using elemental energy for a few months, you can use it with weapons or simply use it. For example, you can use a chant to create a fireball in the beginning but a few months later, you can create a fire tornado without saying any chant. > The system explained as Aiden nodded.

< Then you might be wondering how does this elemental energy recharge. It's simple and it recharges overtime on its own. The elements automatically connect with a person's body and the elemental energy recharge over time. It's a little bit similar to mana. > The system said as Aiden nodded.

"Is there anything else that I should know about elemental energy?" He then asked as he remembered how his mother had said that she would take his test.

The system didn't reply but instead, a few things started to appear in the air in front of him. Five symbols representing the five basic symbols appeared in front of him in a circle. The four other elements appeared beside the five basic ones in a circle too.

More elements than branched out from the five basic ones before the three supreme elements appeared above all the elements in a straight line.

< Remember host, some elements have certain effects against opposing elements like water can defeat fire. If you remember this chart, you can basically answer any question that your mother might ask you and I will be there to help you anyway. > The system said as Aiden nodded and appeared back in his bedroom.

Aiden honesty wanted to get a tutor to have someone to communicate with but there was a possibility that Aiden's mother would use the tutor as a spy to check how much Aiden knew and if the tutor found about his abilities to control shadows, there would definitely be a crisis.

So for now, Aiden decided to self-study with the help of the system.

A few minutes later, his mother appeared inside the room with a smile.

"Let's see what you learned Aiden." His mother said as Aiden nodded and handed her the book.

And he aced the test.
