The Ability To Control Others

"Hey system, are you sure that this job class will evolve one day?" Aiden asked while staring at his job screen.

It had been five years since he had won the games and had reincarnated on this realm and it also had been five years since he had talked with Infini.

But he still had the system to keep him company and make sure that he remained sane.

In the past few years, Aiden had tried asking the people in black some questions but none of them had responded. In fact, they didn't even act as though they were shocked to see Aiden speak.

After all, it was unusual for a baby to speak without listening to the language of the place he or she lived in.

According to the system, Aiden had the ability to interpret any language he heard and would be able to talk in it as well as understand it which was another overpowered ability.

Aiden then closed his ability screen as the people in black appeared with his food. But that was what he thought that they were there for.

But they instead grabbed his arms and started walking towards the shadows as Aiden's heart started beating faster with excitement and anticipation.

'I will finally get to see where I am!' He thought with excitement but was instantly disappointed when he saw that they were just transporting him to another room.

This room was bigger than his previous room but was done in the same color. One of the major changes was that he now had a full-fledged queen-sized bed.

But standing near his bed was his mother as the people in black released their grip on his arms and left as Aiden was left standing alone with his mother.

'Is something supposed to happen now system? Cause this certainly feels like a scene from a web novel.' Aiden asked the system while taking a deep breath as he moved forward since his mother had gestured for him to come forward.

"Look at you Aiden. Five years old and already know how to walk and talk without learning it. Now I have been wondering whether you can read too so from now on, you are supposed to read one book a day and I will check it daily about what you learned." His mother said while pointing towards a bookshelf sitting around in a corner.

The bookshelf was dusty and had about fifty or so books were visible on it. It was carved from some type of dark wood and had a shiny gleam to it. But Aiden wasn't thinking about the shelf or the book as a completely different question was roaming around in his mind.

"What happens if I am not able to read the book?" Aiden asked slowly as his mother shrugged.

"Then you will get a tutor but I want to see what you can do on your own and here, drink this before sleeping. It's a potion that will make you stronger." His mother said while handing him a bottle filled with her blood and vanished.

It looked as though that person was still there.

Aiden was left blinking alone as he stared at the bottle in his hand.

"That was unexpected." Aiden muttered as he put the bottle on the bed and walked up to the bookshelf.

The books had various titles but the one that caught his eyesight was one book named 'Elemental Energy and Its Types'.

He took the book off the shelf and walked up to his bed as he sat down on the bed and flipped open the book.

"What is Elemental energy? The answer to this is simple. The form of energy around us is known as elemental energy since it comes from the various elements thus the name. Elemental energy is derived from the elements because the elements generate the elemental energy thus the name. Who the f*ck wrote this book?!" Aiden cursed with a baffled look as he read the first few lines of the book.

< Don't curse host. You are still technically a child. > The system reminded him as Aiden shook his head.

"I know that but still, who the hell created this thing? How can someone know anything about elemental energy by reading this?!" He put the book down and sighed.

< Don't worry host. Why do you think I am here? I will read the entire book while you are asleep and tell you everything. > The system replied as Aiden suddenly looked happy.

"Then should we see the exact ability of my mother's blood?" Aiden then asked the system as he picked up the bottle and opened its cap.

He put the bottle in his mouth and slowly started drinking it as the system notifications appeared in front of him.

After five minutes passed away, the details finally appeared before Aiden.

[ The blood has the unique property of manipulation. If a person with this type of blood makes the other drink his or her blood, they can control the certain someone for a certain period of time. The amount of time depends on the quantity of the blood. ]

Aiden read with wide eyes as the screen vanished a few seconds later. He finally knew the exact reason why the person was making him drink the blood.

But he couldn't think up of a reasonable theory unless his mother was mad which was impossible since she was the demon queen.

'I am feeling sleepy system. I hope that you will be able to understand the book and then tell me later on. See you in the morning.' Aiden said while stifling a yawn as he crashed down on the bed and closed his eyes.
