Another Twist.

Hearing all those words from Ella, Kate burst out laughing. there were also tears filled up in her eyes because unlike Ella, there was no one to take her side and say something on her behalf. after all those years faking herself as a sweet little girl yet now she had no body by her side who could stand for her, she finally realized the meaning of life and realized that this world is too cruel, no matter how much fake you become in order to adjust in it you still are left alone with nothing when a harsh time comes. she could see all those coworkers who had been her friends and always were by her side when ever she was plotting something but now they had turned away their faces like complete strangers. instead they were nothing different from the rest of the crowd standing there who had been laughing off at her misery and criticizing her on her deeds. she finally realized that she had lived for nothing up till now.

Ella could see right through her mind. she could understand Kate`s feelings now. though she did not liked her for all she had done to her but still she had sympathy for the poor little girl standing all alone in the crowd and facing their harsh comments. she realized that she herself was not a complete angel. Once she also was also a totally ruined person though in a different way from Kate. but still was. she realized that Kate also deserved a second chance to live, to improve her self and to make herself a better person

Ella stepped forward and held Kate`s hand. but she shook them off. and said, " I don`t need your sympathy," it was just the way when Noir had tried to approach her but she had hesitated from him. she smiled and said,

"It`s fine. if you don`t want me now , but if you ever feel like you wanna say something, you can always come to me."

"As if, I would ever do so" she scuffed. and went away from there. but Ella was satisfied now, as everything was back to normal. she turned behind and saw that Noir was smiling at her. and thus she smiled back but this time it was a heartily smile. it was maybe because that all the burden on her shoulder was no more now. she was relieved finally. Noir held her hand and they also walked away from the crowd in peace.

While Jayson still remained there, astonished and almost dumb clenching his fist. he finally realized that there was no place in Ella`s life for him. she had always thought of him as a friend only. it was only him who had put up his expectations because from the very first day he had somehow a feeling that there was no chance for him but still he blindly continued in hope that maybe it could be the other way round. but he was still somewhat uneasy that he wasn`t able to tell his heart to her. that he had liked her from the first time he had met her....

' Hah! I am glad that everything is fine now." Ella said while she heaved a sigh of relief. noir smiled softly while holding her hand. " Yeah, and I am happy that you chose the right thing to do."

" Noir, thank you so much for all you have done for me so far and for believing in me."

"No need for that, it isn`t like we are strangers. after all we are more than friends, right."

"Yeah!" she said softly as Noir kissed her forehead.

During the lunch brake, she went to the cafeteria to have something to eat. usually when ever she went there she could always see Jayson waiting there for her but unexpectedly he wasn`t there today. in fact he had not come even once to see her all day, which was so unlike of him. she thought if everything was alright with him. it was all disturbing her so she decided to go to him herself.

She went to his office but he wasn`t there strangely. she was a bit disappointed but then she left thinking that it could be possible that he had something caught up so she went away and continued with her usual routine. time passed by, she became bust with her work and also Noir of course but still was uneasy that she wasn`t able to catch up with Jayson. he wasn`t even picking up her calls. she wondered whether he was fine.

One day she was coming back to her office after checking the patients. suddenly she saw Jayson going outside from the hall way. she ran quickly to catch up with him. she ran as fast as she could because she could not lose him. finally she reached to him. she cried loudly his name." Jayson!!"

He turned back. he did not expected to meet her there now. she panting heavily. " Ella,.." he said a bit shocked. :"Yeah! its me. and will you tell me one thing? why are you avoiding me like you have seen a ghost. I am calling you far behind and here you are not responding at all"

" Oh! no it is not like that." he said stuttering.

"Then would you mind telling me that what has gotten into you all of a sudden. you have been acting this since that day. did something happened back then which I don`t know.? "she asked cautiously.

"No, it is not like that you have done anything. its just that I was not feeling well these days."

"so, you could at least have told me. I was worried you know."

"You were worried about me?" he asked

"Yeah who else is here whom I am talking to. you are my only friend beside Noir why would i not worry about you if you suddenly start avoiding me."

"Friends. yeah that is what I am to you." he said smiling.

" Huh! what do mean by that? Why are you being so weird all of a sudden, it is so unlike of you."

" Well , you won`t be able to digest it if I tell you now. by the way, you and noir are together now, right?"

"Oh! yeah, that all happened so sudden that I didn`t had the time to tell you but you noticed it. in fact I wanted to tell you but since then you have been avoiding me so I did not got the chance to."

He looked in her eyes, they were shining brightly for the very first time. he understood that she was really happy now. he could tell from her face how relaxed she was now. he realized that maybe he was really not meant for her. he, who was such a coward that he could not even confess his feelings to her and now was running away avoiding her. he suddenly felt like he should tell her why he had been avoiding her. " Ella, there is something I would like to tell you." he said hesitating. " I don`t know how you will react but I have to tell you. even if you hate me and don1t talk to me after wards but still"

" Hey! you re making me worried even more. just say it already. why are you making this so difficult.' she said confused.

"It`s that, I...."

"You what? Just say it already."

"I Love you...."
