"No" was my simple reply and then I turned around to continue on my way.

The Hawkins pirates were staying in one of those buildings in the top of the tree, they still had a lot of treasure that they stole from Shiki, at the moment they had no money problems.

Hawkins was touring the island, riding Kokushibyō because he really liked riding a horse, that was one of his hobbies in his previous life.

People made room for him to pass, scared not only by Hawkins but also by Kokushibyō who had a demonic appearance with his fangs and red eyes.

While touring the island he came across a scene that bothered him beyond what Hawkins himself could hope for, if there was one thing Hawkins hated it was the mistreatment of children, ironic assuming he left many orphans by killing Marines who probably have children, but Hawkins can't stand causing or seeing children be harmed directly.

Half a block from where Hawkins was, there was a Marine beating a girl between 10 and 12 years old.

"You disgust me" Hawkins said behind the captain, after drawing his sword he kicked the body causing it to roll several meters until it crashed into a house.

"Thank you, thank you sir" The girl told Hawkins as she slowly stood up.

"Don't mention it, and next time don't get caught shoplifting," Hawkins said as he handed the girl the apple and a roll of money.

Hawkins climbed back on top of Kokushibyō and continued on his way.

After walking down a street, he stopped and looked back, where the girl from earlier quickly hid behind a tree.

Hawkins moved forward a little and looked back again, the girl who was following him quickly hid behind another tree.

"You know I'm not stupid, right?" Hawkins asked looking at the girl who was hiding behind the tree.

Said girl came out from behind the tree slowly.

"Excuse me sir, I didn't mean to bother you, you can call me Sadi-Chan" the girl wears a black dress with a black headband on her hair which is orange, long and the bangs cover her eyes.

Later at the hotel.

"Captain, do you have a taste for recruiting underage children?" Sarquiss asked Hawkins as he watched Sadi, Ideo, and Bepo swim in the hotel pool.

"Shut your mouth." Hawkins showed for the first time an expression of anger and frustration as he punched Sarquiss causing him to be buried with his head in the ground.
