Meanwhile, inside the carriage, Qianru was hiding her face on her palms. Confrontation like this wasn't her nature, so she was so tense, but at the same time she felt good to be able to stand on her ground and showed them that she wasn't easy to be stepped on.

Mo Qin Yi frowned, he didn't expect Qianru would be there, he shot his guards a glare because they let her come closer to him.

All the guards lowered their head when they felt the hostility that coming from him.

However, a sweet and happy smiled appear on Mo Qin Yi's face the moment he turned around and faced Qianru.

"What a surprise!" He exclaimed, waving his hand to dismiss all the dancers. "It has been a long time indeed. Please have your seat."

Qianru reciprocated his happy smile and stepped into the pavilion. The eunuch was hastily waving his hand to order the servant for prepared a chair for Qianru.

"Qianru thanks The Crown Prince." She said sweetly while sitting on the chair.

"What a formality…" Mo Qin Yi gave her a bitter smile. "We have known each other since we are little."

"But it doesn't change you are crown prince now…" Qianru said while sipping the tea that the servant served for her.

Mo Qin Yi sighed and smirked. He dismissed every servant and guards present there, so whatever he was going to say, no one would hear it.

Qianru had prepared for this, she straightened her back and smiled as if nothing happening.

"You look so beautiful, just like the first time I saw you." Mo Qin Yi curled his lips into a flirtatious grinned.

"Your words flattered me. Your highness." Qianru kept her voice steady, despite every inches of her body screamed to her to get away from there. But, she wouldn't back out like that.

"Your highness?" Mo Qin Yi reiterated in mocking tone. "I will prefer you call me like you used to call me when we were young."

Qianru gritted her teeth, but she kept her smile etched on her lips. Her voice was coming out more steady than she thought. "I come here to straighten up a problem, Qin Yi."

"Qin Yi!" He exclaimed, looking deep into Qianru's eyes as though he could bore some hole to her soul. "You used to call me Qin Yi when we were little…" There was satisfied smile grazed his lips.
