HE IS INSANE

Ignoring his mumbling, Qianru looked back at him unfazed.

"Do you think you can outstand Jun with your lame action such as giving an inappropriate place for us to stay…? I think too highly of you." Qianru's smile disappeared as she mocked him.

"Inappropriate place?" Mo Qin Yi's eyes dilated in disbelief. "No, I didn't…" He refused her accusation directly.

Qianru raised her eyebrows defensively, she didn't believe every breath that come out from him.

"YOU! COME HERE!" Mo Qin Yi roared and called the previous eunuch who had brought Qianru and her entourage to the back courtyard.

The eunuch dragged his wobble legs forward and knelt before the Crown Prince.

"Where did you bring Princess Qianru?" Mo Qin Yi asked in eerie calm voice.

"This servant escorted Princess Qianru to the place where Prince Mo Qin Yi had assigned."

"May I know where?" Qianru chimed in.

"To… to… the back… " The poor eunuch stammered while his eyes were going back and forth between Mo Qin Yi and Qianru. "To the courtyard at the back…" He finished it in one breath.

Suddenly, Mo Qin Yi stood up and threw the tea cup to him. "Audacious!" He barked.

The tea cup hit the eunuch's head and shattered to the ground, along with that blood streaming down his head, the crimson color smeared his face and clothes.

Qianru who was caught out of guard by the scene unfolded before her eyes jerked away. She didn't use with violence.

"How you can put the guest of honor in the courtyard at the back!?" He questioned him angrily.

The eunuch, didn't care about the wound on his forehead, already banged his head to the ground while asking for forgiveness. "This slave had made a mistake, begging Prince for forgiveness." He repeated that word again and again.

However, Mo Qin Yi turned deaf ear for his pleading. "Guard! Bring this man away and flog him fifty times!" His handsome face contorted in displease upon hearing the eunuch pleading.

"He will not make a mistake if that order is not coming from you." Qianru grimaced when she saw blood on the floor. "Stop blaming other person. You make me sick."

The wailing of the eunuch who had been wronged by Mo Qin Yi could be heard from the distance as the two guards dragged his body away.

After long time didn't meet him, Mo Qin Yi didn't change even a bit. Qianru has known him long enough to know that he was faking his action just now, he was insane. This was not the first time she watched his insanity, Mo Qin Yi had ever gone to the extent killing his slave when he was only thirteen years old.

However, only because he was the prince and the favored one, his Emperor father turned blind eyes. Slaves in the Kingdom of Rockstone were no more valuable than livestock. In the other hand, Xiao Jun at the same age was so considerate and wouldn't slight even a mere servant.

Qianru regretted her decision to confront him, she should wait for Xiao Jun. Mo Qin Yi had something for her since they were little, she thought since he has married, his strange behavior had changed, but apparently she was wrong.

She stood up hurriedly and nodded at Mo Qin Yi respectfully to hide her uncomfortable. "I will take my leave."

"Where are you going?" Mo Qin Yi was standing as well, his height only slightly shorter than Xiao Jun, but he still managed to tower her. With standing in front of her, he could easily block her way out.

"I will wait for my husband at the palace hall." Qianru emphasized the word 'husband' so he could have some decency.

However, Mo Qin Yi brushed away the warning in her tone and raised his eyebrows. "How if I show you the new courtyard, so you can rest?"

"No, thank you. I have rested enough." The only thing that she wanted now was to stay away from him. She took step aside and tried to make her way out.

But, Mo Qin Yi grabbed her hand to stop her, this inappropriate gesture earned a glared from Qianru. "What are you doing!?" She shouted and shook his hand from her while the guards tensed when they saw this scene unfolded.
