"You want us to sacrifice part of our army?" Cale spoke loudly to Luciel as he slammed his hands on the table
"Why not?" Luciel asked cluelessly why Cale was angry
Cale looked over at the other two but they didn't seem to be on his side
"Cale…. "I can understand that pawn sacrifices are difficult, but it is necessary." Drake asked to calm him down and put his hand on his shoulder
But he immediately slapped her away. "VICTIM?!" He seemed upset. Drake didn't understand what the reason would be
But Nathan and Luciel both have an idea as to why he would be so angry about "Pawn Sacrifice".
but even without that reason, Cale would be against it
The reason for this is that he is too kind-hearted
Luciel looked over at Cale and spoke loudly and clearly "listen first" he said while trying to calm him down
Cale takes a deep breath and listens to Luciel's plan
"By victims I didn't mean a large number or anything else, I rather meant that we send and spy on a few of our people who are far down in the rankings. We first have to get a clear picture of what we are fighting against here." Luciel spoke without a pause, everyone heard to him
As he spoke, Cale also found himself thinking about it logically but still... he didn't like it
"Also that we get more about our surroundings as well as information about the others, so you can't call it a victim, they would just be spying, see it rather than the people who do our dirty work, that's also very important."
"That means they won't be sacrificed for nothing?" Cale was relieved but that didn't last long
"What are you talking about?" Nathan looked at him as he said it "it's a war here everyone might be sacrificed"
Cale didn't seem pleased
But that was irrelevant; there were more important things
"Don't worry, we'll make sure to have as few losses as possible. After all, we only have a hundred people among us," Luciel said and put his hand on Cale's shoulder to calm him down, but to be honest it did the opposite slightly more nervous
"Where do we actually start?" Nathan seemed a little impatient and wanted to get out as quickly as possible and explore the city that was under their control
Drake wanted to say something but before he could even get a word in, Luciel interrupted him. "If possible, I could command about 5 people," he asked
"How come?" Drake asked him with a frown
"So not?"
"…. "I don't care" Drake seemed bitter but allowed him to do so
"Well, excuse me, I have something important to do," said Luciel and disappeared through the door
"What do you think he'll do?" Nathan saw him in the direction he disappeared and asked the others Drake didn't answer but Cale did "give us an advantage"
"…. how do you mean that?" Drake asked with a frown, he didn't know that Cale could still see him so positively even though he said they should keep their distance until he can prove he's no good
"I'm sure he has some weird sick plan"
"and how do you know that?" Nathan was also a little confused about how well they knew each other and how he could say something like that even though there was something wrong with both of them
"I have no idea," he replied and shrugged his shoulders
*****
[Luciel's POV]
I locked it behind me and left the three of them alone in there
And right when I looked ahead I was greeted by two other people one was satul
and the other was someone completely unknown to me
It was a girl she had hazel brown hair that reached down to her back
Her big dirty brown eyes made her hair stand out even more while her skin was a slightly brownish tan but lighter than Satul's who was standing next to her
She was wearing a black sweater with gray jeans and black shoes while in her hand she was holding a long halberd that had a red pole and a silver blade and was decorated with gold threads on the other end
She carried it in her right hand and placed it on her shoulder
I looked over at Satul who just looked back at me with his fiery red eyes and asked "What rank are you?"
"I am a lieutenant and you?" he asked back
"Strategist" I answered back, but it was nice to amuse the girl
"Ha so the most useless rank" said See in a mocking tone
I just looked at her bored because I just didn't have the nerve for it today
"The strategist isn't that bad," Satul tried to protect me here
However, that wasn't necessary
It's true that strategist is not necessary since everyone else plans the strategy together
It's like I'm being given a high rank for nothing, at least in this scenario
Normally, strategists were not only intended for plans, they also had a high political status and were even more important than the general when it came to politics
However, politics is not important in this school exam
But that doesn't stop me from using it
"Who are you anyway?" I asked the brown-haired girl
"It's nice that you asked, I'm Rank 8 Susie quagmire and I... ARE YOU PLAYING WITH YOUR PHONE?!" she yelled at me for some reason as she was about to introduce herself
Do not know why?
"Yes…. Why is something wrong?" I asked her why she was yelling at me
But it seemed like there was no reason
"BECAUSE YOU RUDE ASSHOLE PLAYING ON YOUR CELL PHONE WHILE…. He's doing it again!!"
It seemed like I couldn't talk to her... Whatever her name was…. So I just left
"Ah satul then tell others I will be away for a while see you later"
And so I ran to the exact door where we came in
I know it would be better to look around and everything but I had a plan because I want to implement it quickly so that's what I do
I went through the door and was back in the same room as before, with the round table and everything
I sat back down and waited for a certain person to come back
Just so you understand, I haven't been playing on my phone for the last hour, I've been texting someone
Someone with a huge ego
However, the person who appeared to be coming through the door right now didn't come alone
We now have 100 collections and that makes me so proud of this story so thanks for reading i hope you continue reading this adventure of Luciel finding out what the fuck is wrong with the entire world
