A little bit of freedom

As informed before, the very next day, they started their training.

They had an announcement to go to the same hall. But, unlike ever before, there were no guards to escort them.

"Are we suppose to go by ourselves?" Katie stated her confusion.

"We were always in someone's company. I don't even remember the way to the hall", Henry said opening the door.

"Are you kidding me? How can you not remember? It hasn't even been 24 hours from the time we returned to the dorm yesterday", Katie said following William and Henry outside.

Merry's three friends had already walked out but, Cole was still there with her holding her hands.

He knew she was worried.

"Don't worry too much. Me, you, Henry, William and Katie all will be fine. We will get through this together."

"But still...."

"Shh.. we talked about it yesterday, didn't we? Until they obtain their purpose, they won't harm us."

"You stay here and stay safe. We will be back", saying that Cole also left.

Cole jogged a little to meet his friends. As usual Henry and Katie were in a banter. William was silent as his usual self.

It took them nearly five minutes to reach the hall.

They saw the woman with other three men from before. Mr. Rogers was waiting for them near the entrance but Mrs. Miller was not there.

"I suppose you all are excited for the new lessons", Mr. Rogers said guiding them towards the area where the woman and the others were sitting.

"How can he expect us to be excited when we don't know a sh*t about it?", Henry said clenching his teeth.

Katie heard him say that and slightly hit him with her elbow as he was walking just infront of her.

"Ouch!"

"Stop! talking nonsense."

"I didn't say anything wrong."

"Both of you, can you stop talking?" William finally broke his silence.

"The kids are here. You can start the lessons. If you need anything, you can call me anytime", Mr. Rogers said to the woman shaking her hand.

"Yeah, sure. But, you can leave without being too much concerned as I believe everything will be in my control."

They exchanged few more words and Mr. Rogers went outside.

Now, it was just the woman and the three men whose name they had still yet to know in the hall.

"I have already assigned an individual instructor to each kid. So, you guys can start your lessons with your respective pupil", the woman said to the other men.

Gradually, all three men approached their respective pupil and took them away from the hall.

Katie and William followed their instructor without any questions. Henry was reluctant at first but when he saw his friends doing it, he also followed his instructor.

Then, only Cole and the woman remained in that place.

The woman was sitting in a chair with a desk in the front working on some papers. She looked up for a second through her gold rimmed eye glasses.

"Take a seat", she said to Cole indicating the two seats opposite her.

"I'll be done in a minute."
