Mystical space: The love story between a Phoenix and Dragon

Song Xia had a strange dream. It occurred in a dreamscape, a wonderous place full of colour, magic and mysterious beings.

There she watched a movie-like reel that depicted an ancient and marvelous story. A heart wrenching melody was played on a guqin in the background.

There was once a red female phoenix who was almighty and magnificent. The sacred saintess of the phoenix clan. She excelled in many fields whether healing, combat or magic was unparalleled being. Shortly able to transform into to human form after reaching adulthood she had received the many powerful warriors' admiration.

A Hundred thousand years passed but did not find her soulmate and to elevate her loneliness traveled from continent to continent.

After crossing countless seas and mountains she finally found her love in the powerful Fiery Abyss Golden Dragon King.

They loved each other very sincerely but others wars and jealously caused a series of misunderstandings between them. Yet unlike other love stories they still chose to believe in each other.

If you live according others thoughts and expectation they will love, respect and admire you but as soon as you deviate from this preconceived path you become a sinner. The underlying problem, the supposed crime the Saintess of Phoenix and Golden Dragon King committed was interracial love.

In the end they were betrayed by people they considered friends. The Red Phoenix, attacked by one of her by one of her very own protectors, lay dying in the Dragon King's arms . Utterly devastated he scattered all of his power to die with her.

The Red Phoenix's blood and tears created a red jade that contained the power to reborn as well as many powers such as healing, beauty, the ability to create magic medicines and protection.

A pure gold bracelet with scale like carvings appeared when the Golden Dragon scattered his power. This allowed the user to carry small Trans dimensional space full of Spiritual Qi enabling storage of any object as well as giving the said user Midas touch. Dragons are known treasure hoarders and have clairvoyance with means of becoming wealthy. It also strengthened the user's body and mind.

These two objects left behind by those ancient mythical beings could not be used separately but only together. The Phoenix and Dragon were two halves of a whole similarly their legacy could only be used once completed. It only would choose a successor which fulfilled both their requirements and had the destiny of finding the Heavenly Couple bracelet.

In Song Xia's previous world her god-daughter, Lee Fei had given her the Golden Dragon bracelet as her 30th birthday gift and the original Song Xia's Grandmother had given her The Red Phoenix jade for her seventh birthday and this was the great miracle of her rebirth. The bracelet spiritual power had been absorbed by her soul and would follow her in her sequential lifetimes.

In order to use the power of the jade as well as improve the trans dimensional space the user needed jade, precious gems like rubies, sapphires and diamonds; pure gold as well as ancient artifacts with either spiritual power or those that had absorbed the energy of the sun, moon and earth.

It was difficult for Song Xia to acquire such precious and expensive materials to improve the space with only 5000 yuan in her hands. In her previous life she had heard of stone gambling but had never tried it herself. The Dragon's clairvoyance will allow her to win money there. ''Xiao Xia,Xiao Xia, wake up!''hearing Shi Qi 's anxious voice, Song Xia quickly awoke from her sleep.

She looked at Shi Qi who wore a look of relief.' 'Aunt, are you alright?''

''I was trying to wake you up ! But you were sleeping very heavily and wouldn't get up. I thought fell back into coma. You scared me to death!"

After Shi Qi spoke Song Xia felt guilty for scaring her.'' I'm alright now Aunt don't worry so much ..." as she reached to hold her hand acting cute in front of her.

Shi Qi looked at this serious girl acting cute in front of her giving a beautiful smile. She poked Song Xia's little cheeks held by her high cheekbones and smiled.

''Come and eat it's already 12 p.m. We both overslept and missed breakfast.''

Song Xia went to brush her teeth and wash her face feeling a bit embarrassed at acting cute in front of someone but enjoyed the familial affection.

The meal was very simple but nutritious affair. Chicken egg drop soup, porridge, fried eggplant, salted vegetables and rice.

''Xiao Xia,your physiotherapy session appointment is at 4:30 p.m. but Aunt has to go to work just now. Aunt will only finish at 7 p.m. and will pick you up at 7:30p.m. . The clinic is 2 blocks away from here across from a park. Aunt will get the neighbor Aunt Wang to drop you off at the clinic.''

Shi Qi felt very apologetic towards Song Xia. She had just gotten out of hospital but had nobody to accompany her to the clinic.Shi Qi really wanted to go but unfortunately her company would not give her any more leave therefore she had to meet the afternoon appointment that was assigned to her at the last moment.

''Don't worry, Aunt.No need to bother anyone, it's only two blocks away. I can walk, get some fresh air and exercise.''

''But you need to rest your leg is still recovering.'' Shi looked concernedly at Song Xia.

''I'll be fine it will also help my leg to recover and I'll have my phone with me. I have your number, Xiao Yu's and Aunt Shi Ling's number's if anything happens. I'll text you when I reach the clinic and when I leave the clinic to come home.''
