Everyone's head snapped up to they heard a voice say no. Even Tashina looked up at her brother because she didn't understand why he was stepping into their business.
"Excuse me?" Ren blurted out.
"I said you don't have the right to punish them," Lane said.
"Who do you think you are to say such? I'm the Beta of this Pack and when an issue that concerns the safety of my Pack comes in, I have the full rights to dictate what will occur" Ren was getting angry now.
Chivia held her husband's hand so he would calm down.
"I know that but as a Beta, your rights only reach to your kind, the werewolves," Lane walked further into the room and Tashina followed suit.
"But they aren't werewolves so you can't decide what fate they will have to go through," Lane took a glance at Kiranzi to see her already staring at him.
