ANASTASIA

Xavier glared at her as she intentionally spoke my name wrong. I smiled without even knowing it, and I earned a wicked glare from Amelia.

Why did she have to return now? Maybe because we made it public? And how am I to get rid of her??

After the dinner, I was hard to get Amelia go home, she pretended to be drunk, and insisted that Xavier drop her home. But instead we got the driver to drop her. Once in the room, Xavier hugged me hard.

"I'm sorry" he said in my neck.

"No worries, I'll handle that witch" I said smiling.

"You will?"

"Yess" I said.

"Promise me...promise me you'll not fall into her talks....she's gonna try to get me again, and I'm very over her. And I'm not willing to let you go"

"I will not, don't worry"

"By the way, what did she say earlier?"

"She said...She said that the marriage invitation is just a reason to come see you, and that you're hers and always will be..."

"Oh did she? But everyone knows, whose I am" Xavier said chuckling.

I turned to him and stretched his cheeks.

"Mine and mine only"

"Yeah" he agreed.

"Let's sleep??"

"Okay madame!"

And we cuddled to sleep. I was thinking of tricks to get that witch Amelia away from my husband. And I had decided I will go to the company with him tomorrow.

The next day, I made my best puppy eyes to get Xavier to take me with him. Mom wished e luck, as she knew why Amelia was back, though she wasn't worried, because she knew I would chase her away.

When we reached the company, it felt so good to be finally here after these days. I felt boring at home.

"So, Mr. Evans, do you need me to get you coffee, sir?" I teased.

"Stop it Ana, you're not my assistant anymore, I don't want you serving me"

He was not happy with me working under him.

"Oho sir, you're mad at me?"

"Yeah...and you know how to make me good again" he smirked.

"No no sir, not here, we can't"

"Oh yes we can" he neared me.

But before he could kiss me, the door burst open and a smiling witch entered.

"Oh, I see you're already occupied" Amelia smiled.

"Yeas so get out right now" I said, which made Xavier smile.

"Ohh...I came to discuss business with Xavi...and it's his workplace, not some hook out place" she directed at me.

"Ohh...then you can come and discuss...and I'll suggest if something needs to be changed...As I too worked for the company"

Amelia's gritted her teeth, she had thought I would let her be with Xavier again.

XAVIER

Oh my wife, and she calls ME possessive, look who's possessive now? I couldn't help smiling when she answered Amelia.

"Come sit" I said to Ana, and made her sit on my chair, while Amelia sat on the guest's chair, clearly displeased with me giving Ana my seat. I dragged another chair and sat beside Ana.

"Tell us, what you wanted to discuss?" I said.

"Ohh...." Amelia went into her own thoughts.

She wasn't here to discuss anything, she was here to spend time with me. Which totally backfired. I was so glad.

"Tell us AMELIA" Ana said sternly.

"Ummm....um....I forgot to bring the designs with me...I'll visit later" she said and ran out of the office.

"I'm sooo glad you were here, she was clearly here so more rumours about me and her could spread"

"Yeah me too...Don't worry, I save you from that witch!"

The rest of the day, Ana sat beside me while I worked, in the middle, her kisses distracting me and then she scolded me to get back to work.

After the day's work was over, we headed out to get dinner. I thought I would take Anastasia to a dinner date. Because I hadn't let her eat outside food at all these months and I think one time wouldn't hurt.

When I pulled up to the restaurant, she screamed with happiness.

"We're really eating out?"

"Yeah, babe!"
