Sitting together, but apart!

It has been a month now since the ordinary girl and popular guy were sitting together now. They have become sort of good friends. Pia helps kush in studies, in his mischiefs and akash's love story. Kush too enjoy talking to her. There is a connection.

"What happened, P?" Yes, he now calls her P. "What are you so upset about?"

P is weeping bitterly, breaking her cries she says," I....I...I lost my doggu". She bursts again into cries. Hearing this Kush couldn't control himself but laugh. Initially he tries not to laugh but he couldn't help it. Pia fumed in anger as soon as he heard him. She stood from her bench and was about to leave, just then kush pulled her hand towards himself. For the first time they were less than half a metre apart. For the first time Pia was so close to her crush from first grade. She was feeling her very first teen love emotion, her very first attraction to a guy. She went week on her knees but just then reminded of his laugh from a moment ago. She stepped back but Kush didn't let her hand go from his. He instantly apologised and exclaimed that he didn't mean too. "I am so so sorry P. Actually i am not fond of animals or pets so i couldn't realise how hurtful it could have been for you. I am so sorry". Pia who was already melted off by a moment they shared few seconds before, easily gave down and smiled at him brightly, approving his apology.

During recess when Pia was heading towards the canteen with dimple, she told her that she has heard the rumours of pooja (one of their batchmate from other section) liking kush and that soon she is going to ask her out. Pia initially didn't believe but when dimple gave her details she tend to believe and coincidentally the very next moment she saw pooja walking towards kush and his friends and giving kush a note. "Probably a love confession" Dimple said. Pia still didn't believe her eyes but the moment she saw kush smiling at the letter, the smile as bright as hers when she accepted his apology, made her numb and disappointed. She looked away and went ahead ignoring what she just saw. She was sad but still believed that their must be something else on the letter and not a confession. She had hope.

The next day she entered the class, kush walked upto him and pulled her quickly to their seat with excitement and gave her the good news. "I have my first girlfriend. I am so happy,P". Her hope, her belief all went away at one go. She congratulated him with a smile.
