Its over?

[PIA's POV]

I feel so pathetic for feeling sad right now. Why am i sad? Coz some guy whom i have kinda liked since grade 1 now had a girlfriend. I felt like shit and obviously i didn't wanted to go to school but we had final exams starting from the very next week and i needed to get my notes corrected. So i went.

As soon as i entered the classroom i saw what i didn't wanted to. Kush chilling with his friends and "girlfriend". He noticed me before i could leave and invited me over for the little gala time they were having, initially i tried to escape it but eventually i had to give in to their repeated calls. I sat their for around half an hour before the bell for morning assembly rang. In those 30 minutes the only person to talk was pooja(the girlfriend) and she only spoke about how much she likes kush, what she likes about kush, since when , why , how etc. When I walked out the classroom I was

evidently pissed and my friends-Varsha and Dimple could make it in one go. After the assembly, we had an emergency meeting in girl's washroom where i had an emotional outbreak, my first and worst one and now my friends knew my entire history of lliking kush, my attraction to him, how we became friends in past months and finally my first little heartbreak. Although after I told them the entire thing they claimed that they knew it from beforehand but never confronted me (which i don't believe). They did their best friend duties, consoled me and told me that kush is a asshole and abused him so that i feel good and they told me that i deserved someone better and also warned me to stay away from him and forget him forever.

"They are right, I need to move on and let go" a thirteen year old me decided. All three of us sneaked in our classroom and now I was sitting with varsha who didn't have a bench partner. Kush tried to talk to me and ask why was i not sitting with him but I managed to ignore him for a week and then we were all busy with our exams.
