The next day we packed up and sent word for everyone else to do the same. After meeting everyone for lunch at the grill, we left to the private airport. With so many people going, I had my largest jumbo private jet rolled out.
When they all saw it I laughed. "Other than hotels and houses I own in some of the cities we're going to, this'll be our home for two months. It has ten small bedrooms and three shower stalls. The entertainment room is the largest and I've had it fully equipped with everything I can think of. Food, blood, booze and even a stereo system. For those of you who are couples, don't worry, I've personally stocked the spelled sage in a vapor machine."
Damon whistled. "Damn, where can I get one of these?"
I chuckled. "It's around a hundred million but if you want one, I'll sell one to you. I've got six. I mostly used them for staff errands and the like."
Damon didn't answer for a minute before saying. "Too rich for my blood."
I chuckled. "Speaking of which. I've taken the liberty of having specialty drinks for the vampires made. Stuff like pumpkin spice blood and blood chocolate. It's up to you if you want to try it."
I walked to the stairs hanging down on the side and grabbed Bonnie's bags before entering. Bonnie followed as I led her to the master bedroom that was twice the size of the rest.
After half an hour, we were ready for take off. I knocked on the pilots cabin. "We're ready. Head to the first stop over in Paris. We'll follow the route till the end and I'll make changes as necessary."
I got an 'affirmative' back and headed to the entertainment room. Most of the adults were at the bar. It was a small crowd for the jet size but big for my smaller ones. It was me, Bonnie, Caroline, Elena, Jeremy, Jenna, Matt, Damon, Anna and Pearl. Usually Pearl wouldn't come but I wanted extra eyes to keep everyone safe.
I handed Bonnie my ring and tapped her pendant, disappearing into the vault. I found myself in a duplicate of my mansion. I whistled and two vampires appeared. "Isobel, Katerina. It's time we had a chat."
Katherine nodded and sat down. "So what is it you want grandfather? You stick us in here for what I assume is punishment. Are we to be released early for good behavior?"
I snorted. "Child, it's time I set the record straight for you. I owe you nothing. I've protected you since you started running all those years ago and I've protected you now."
She crossed her arms. "How have you protected me? I've spent the last five hundred years running when a word from you would've seen me free!"
I sighed wearily. "I hadn't seen my siblings in so long and after their actions that week I'd have killed them all. Do you think it wise or a good thing for me to do so? To become the monster that they were? I've fought my bloodlust and kept myself from killing innocents for so long, if I'd killed my siblings, do you think I'd have stopped killing from then on? I held myself to a higher standard not because of some sense of pride or vanity but because I am a far worse beast myself. If I'd have killed them, the beast in me would've taken over and the world would've seen an apocalypse that was me! So no, child, I could not confront them then. It had to be in a controlled setting."
Isobel spoke up. "Are you my ancestor as well? The one that turned our line?"
I shook my head. "I am not your vampire ancestor. I am your ancestor by birth. I had a child with your ancestor Tatia, she was a doppelgänger as well. Our daughter went on to have more kids until eventually you both were born. Later in my life, Esther, the mother of all originals turned us into vampires, the first of our kind. I protected my descendants as best I could but I could not be everywhere at all times. Now, after a thousand years, there are only four of you left."
I turned to face Katherine. "And you very nearly killed off the last one. Listen Katerina, she may look like you, may even sound like you. But in the end she's her own person. Just like how you're not Tatia. I've spoken to my siblings and they'll not hunt or harm you again."
She snorted. "So I'm just free to go, is that it?"
I shrugged. "I figured you'd have questions about everything and I wanted to be the one to answer them. Ask away. I'll be as honest as I can without putting you in danger."
For the next hour or so I did just that. By the time they ran out of questions Isobel asked. "What is it going to take for you to let us out of here?"
I sighed and sat back. "You are now aware of at least an inkling of what I face. I cannot allow you out of here with the knowledge that we are in any way related on your lips."
I looked at each of them before answering her question. "I'll compel you to be unable to tell anyone we are related or hint at it in any way. You'll not be able to act on the knowledge in any way shape or form. After that, I'll have you both sign a magical contract that'll prevent others from forcing it out of you or you seeking to break the compulsion."
Katherine sat forward. "Sounds simple enough. Where do I sign?"
I smiled a little and snapped my fingers. As the contracts appeared in front of them, I started compelling them. I left nothing to chance and made sure to cover all loopholes. When I was done I sighed and put a hand on both their shoulders. "Whatever you think of me, just know that I've loved you both despite your choices. I don't ask the same from you, but I will ask that you try to get to know me."
At that moment, Katerina had a tear run down her cheek. I whipped it off before saying. "Let's get you out of this place, and into the real world."
We vanished and reappeared next to Bonnie after that. I spoke up. "Relax everyone, they're joining us on this trip and maybe they'll decide to stay for the duration. There's plenty of room and blood."
Elena asked. "Why'd you let them out?"
I sighed and sat down. Bonnie saw my haggard look and spoke up. "Because they're just as much victims of Klaus's games as we were."
Katherine stood there quietly for a minute before turning to me. "Where's my room?"
I sighed. "Pick an empty one and try not to start a fight."
Damon and Elena were in one together and I and Bonnie took one, Jeremy and Anna shared one as well. There were three available so it was plenty enough. After a scuffle with Elena, she found out Stefan was available and she started being nice to her. After all, so long as she was happy with Damon, Stefan was up for grabs.
I walked past Caroline and smelled something familiar. Bonnie noticed me stop moving and asked. "What's wrong?"
I chuckled. "Caroline here was with my brother last night."
Caroline snorted. "Duh, we all were. It was a party."
I laughed a little louder. "I'm speaking in the biblical sense. There's only one reason it lingers this long and that sharp."
She blushed and stammered. I chuckled and left the girls to talk. I sat down at the wet bar and poured myself a drink. Damon asked. "Can you smell it that easily?"
I shrugged. "I know my brothers smell because I've ran with him as a wolf often enough."
He nodded. "So what do I smell like?"
I snorted. "Booze and sex, with a hint of blood. It masks your natural smells that isn't five hundred dollar cologne. If you're asking for your natural smells-"
"-a pine and sandalwood musk."
I nodded to Elena as she came over. "Good nose."
She smiled. "It's usually what I smell when we're in the shower together after everything else is rinsed away."
I smiled. "Bonnie's is a honey and lavender smell with a hint of something that drives me wild."
Damon chuckled. "I get the same smell from Elena."
I raised an eyebrow. "Huh. Must be a love thing. A pheromone they release to attract us."
Bonnie came over with Caroline. "Attract who?"
I pulled her into my arms. "You attract me to you like a bee to honey, love. It's a scent I smell when you're with me that drives me wild and sets fire to my veins. I'd swear it could almost force me to shift."
She smiled and kissed me before starting humming. I walked over to a couch with her and sat down watching Jeremy and Anna race each other on the tv. While Bonnie hummed in my arms, I pulled her close and held her.
After a while, we ended up falling asleep there together. I woke up to the sound of a camera shutter. Caroline was standing a few feet away smiling at us with a camera in hand. Bonnie asked. "Caroline, what are you doing?"
She sighed. "You two looked so cute together that I had to take a picture. It's moments like these that I want to remember about this trip."
As luck would have it the speaker came on. "This is your captain speaking, may I be the first to welcome you to Paris. We'll be landing in twenty minutes if you would all please sit in a comfortable seat we'll see you down safely."
I chuckled. "Find a seat Caroline. We don't want you tripping and ripping a whole in the side of the jet."
She pouted. "You're no fun at all."
I grinned. "Maybe I'll take up amateur photography then."
She smiled at that then replied. "Hey! I'm a perfectly good photographer."
I chuckled. "Then why is the lens cap still on."
She looked down at the camera in shock then checked it over before saying. "It's not on!"
I smiled. "Took you long enough to check though. Go find a seat."
She looked at us still laying on the couch and asked. "What about you two?"
Bonnie laughed. "Relax Caroline. I'm in the safest place on the plane, in Alex's arms."
I squeezed a little to let her know I enjoyed the compliment. After Caroline left, I held Bonnie closer and started kissing her neck. When we landed, Bonnie had to put on a scarf from the hickies I'd left on her. I offered to heal her but she smiled and shook her head saying they're her reminder that I'm always with her.
I couldn't argue with that so I settled on spelling a few she left on me to stay there. As we left the airport in a limo as to fit everyone, I told them. "We're staying in a resort I know the owner to. He's arranged for everything to be taken care of for us while we're here. His name is Sebastian DuPont. Or so he goes by now adays. He's eight hundred years old and an old friend. We've fought on several battle fields together and he's seen my worst side up close and personal. All I ask is that you not mention the scar on his face. He got it trying to calm me down from a blood high and even his vampire healing or my magic couldn't fully heal it."
The nodded and Damon asked. "How bad could it be?"
I snorted and shook my head. "Don't be a dick Damon. I owe him so I wouldn't be inclined to stop him from giving you a beating. He's a friend I contemplated turning myself back then."
Katherine asked. "So he was human when you gave him the scar?"
I nodded. "The bravest man I've ever known. Or he had a death wish, the way he tells it I was the ultimate battle high to fight until I actually attacked-"
"-then it was time to run life hell and pray to the gods they put the monster back in hell. Hello old friend."
I turned to see it was Sebastian driving the limo. I smiled. "Hello my old friend. I take it you've drank the driver?"
He snorted. "He refused to hand over the keys. Silly mortals. I've fought you and lived, what can a silly human with a gun do to me? He's unconscious in the trunk if you must know. He tasted of steroids and testosterone."
I snorted. "Do be sure to tell him he's fired when you compel him to forget. I don't allow druggies to work for me in any capacity."
He spoke up. "We'll be at the resort in three minutes. Be sure to have your humans to wear arm bands. I'd hate to find you killing my guests for their lack of manners."
I snorted. "So I take it Louie is in town again."
He chuckled. "He heard you were going to be here and wanted to meet the legendary beast that slaughtered an army of thousands by himself naked."
I snorted and noticed the others were staring at me. I shrugged. "After so many hits, the army was stripped away in battle. I usually started out fully armored and ended up naked or some form by the end of battle. It was cut off my as I lost control in the slaughter and gave in to the beast."
Sebastian snorted. "Magnificent bastard drank them all dry after he killed them. To this day I've no idea how he drank it all."
I sighed. "I've told you a million times, it goes into the beast not me. I've little awareness and no control when I give in to it."
He chuckled. "Like I said, magnificent! Now what brings you to my fare country. The last time you came with a group this size you sacked a city."
Bonnie spoke up. "Summer break before college."
I smiled. "Sebastian, meet Bonnie Bennett, the love of my life and Ariana's descendant."
I could see him visibly flinch. He spoke after a few seconds. "A pleasure to meet you my lady. If there's ever a need I'm at your call."
Bonnie looked confused so I told her. "It's his way of saying he'd fight for you in battle."
She nodded. "Thanks but I've got the beast itself. I appreciate the offer though."
He chuckled. "Very well. You're right to turn me down on that for him. I could drink this city dry of wine and not have the courage to face him again."
As we stopped moving he turned his head saying. "Tristan and those fools are making moves against your siblings again. They have something planned to do with the bloodlines. Lucien has been trying to get my order under his thumb for a century now. Whatever he's got planned, he's trying to use us as a backup plan or fodder. We've turned him down for now. What do you think of it?"
I sighed. "I've made peace with my siblings Sebastian. If you follow him you'll be facing me on the battlefield, only this time, I won't be on your side."
He shuddered. "Got it, I'll tell him to fuck off and warn the others against it."
I nodded. "You tell him if he try's to kill you I'll make immediate and painful actions on his person that'll be as permanent as your scar but more precious to him."
He grinned and rubbed the scar that went from his right jaw line to his left temple. "I'll just tell him it'll be a permanent castration by your hand."
I nodded and he got out before opening the door and saying. "Welcome to La Salle De Sang or the blood room if you prefer. It's a secret five star resort only known to those rich and powerful vampires. The white bands on the reception desk are for those that do not wish for others to feed on them. The red are for those that are open to the idea and only need be asked by the right vampire. The black are free for all's. Any vampire will feed on you at any time. It's a sort of high for both parties involved. Don't worry, we don't kill here. It's all by free will or the bands won't work."
I turned to the group. "It's up to you."
I turned to look at Bonnie. "I'd kill any that tried."
She raised a challenging eyebrow and her hand hovered over the black for a second before grabbing the red. She smiled. "Maybe the right vampire will ask."
I smiled and Sebastian did so as well. He turned to her. "Would you like to experience another's bite?"
I smacked the back of his head and he continued. "Because if you do, that's to bad. You're as dangerous as your ancestor was. At least she wasn't with the beast, she only tore hearts out herself."
Bonnie smiled and I felt magic pulse as Sebastian's knees hit the floor and he held his hand over his heart. "I learned that spell a while ago as well. Perhaps you can be my first test subject, I want to know if I got it right after all."
I chuckled and she released the spell. Sebastian turned to me. "Marry this girl or I'll do it for you. That's the most exciting thing that's happened to me in seven hundred years!"
I chuckled. "As crazy as ever Sebastian. Tell Louie I'll meet him before we leave town in three days."
He nodded and disappeared. The others had chosen their bracelets and only Matt had chosen another red. I chuckled as the hotel staff went over the rules. Basically it was a safe zone all over so long as they didn't willingly take off the bracelet. Vampires can't take them off or compel them off. If they try to use force, the vampires gets a paralyzing spell to the face.
No one can take it off but the one that put it on. If you consent to being bitten you need to trade in for a red or black band. The bands will stop the vampire from going to far.
When we were on a certain floor Sebastian appeared again. "The entire floor is yours. Louie has consented to being your guide in order to meet you."
I sighed and turned to Bonnie. She nodded. "Tell your son he can guide us so long as he's discreet and knows where everything is."
Sebastian left and a moment later he came back with a slightly younger and less battle scarred version of himself. I smiled. "He has Josephine's eyes. You did good my friend. I can tell he's seen many battles."
Sebastian looked proud and Louie held out a hand to me. "It's an honor to meet the beast."
I chuckled and shook his hand. "Kid, you haven't met the beast. Pray you never do."
He looked confused and Sebastian laughed. "The beast is his ripper side Louie. It's a personality of his that takes over on the battlefield. The most dangerous creature to walk the earth. I've seen him decimate a werewolf pack in under ten seconds and his other half bit the werewolf alpha's body in half. He has never feared a bite."
Louie became more agitated and excited. He started asking me questions. "Hold up."
I waved a hand and a book appeared in it. I handed it to Louie. "This is everything I've ever written about the battlefield and the experience of the beast. Your father is mentioned in it in several hundred battles. To this day, he's the only one I'd have turned if he would've asked for it but once."
Sebastian puffed his chest out and Louie disappeared with the book. I chuckled. "It seems he's more interested in the book than being a guide Sebastian. Care to join us for a few days?"
He sighed. "Kids these days. I would but I can't my friend. A group of townies have been causing trouble. I'll be dealing with them till next month. The only reason I'm not there now is because it's you."
I chuckled and grasped his forearm. We said our goodbyes and I made a call to the company that sent the driver and limo. After a few words they promised to send another and do a drug screening on their people.
I turned to the group. "Choose a room. The entire floor is ours. A new car will be waiting outside after we're ready."
They split up and Bonnie dragged me to a far off room before kissing me and pushing me inside. After an hour quickie, we were dressed for the town. We went to stores for shopping and tourist traps for fun. We took pictures of each other having fun and enjoying our time.
When we got hungry, we went to Le Cinq. I got a picture of Elena's face as she ate frog legs and Katerina's as she ate escargot. Jeremy got one of Damon eating a fish head. His face was pretty funny even for a vampire he was a bit of a coward when he bit into the eye.
I chuckled and he turned to me. "Oh yeah? Let's see you eat it."
I smirked and ate one head whole. The bones snapped and were crushed by my teeth. The eyes and inside wear a bit soft but the wine made it easy to go down. Jeremy asked. "How did you do that?"
I smiled. "I've been cursed a few times while draining dark objects of power. Some of them were far worse than a simple eating snails and fish. It's not the right setting to tell details but suffice to say, it was bad. In comparison, this doesn't taste that bad though the texture leaves something to be desired."
I turned to Bonnie and kissed her lips before she squealed. "No! Fish breath!"
I chuckled and did a small spell before kissing her again. "Better?"
She kissed back before smiling. "Much better."
Matt was having a blast now, Katherine has taken to him for the duration of the trip. Isobel was chatting with Elena and Caroline found Anna as a good vampire friend to answer her questions. Damon was mostly chatting with Jenna between eating things on a dare from Jeremy or Matt.
I smiled and drew a little power from a talisman before turning a camera invisible and making it take pictures of the entire group. Bonnie looked to me when I started drawing power and noticed what I was doing. She smiled before continuing to talk to Jeremy.
After the meal, we made our way to the Louvre museum. I showed them a few of Niklaus's saying. "My little brother isn't all monster. He seeks control in his artworks. The nastier side was akin to a beaten wolf. My father Mikael was a hard warrior and a harder man. He thought to correct whatever made him think Niklaus wasn't worthy the same way his father did him, by beatings. Mikael stopped while I was around but while I was away, he saw Nik's love for art and beauty as a weakness. I think he feared Niklaus's obsessions with them would make him soft on the field of battle. Now I'm not saying it was good or bad. At that time we fought not for money or land, but the right to live. We were under constant attacks from other villages and clans. We fought for the food to feed our family's every single day. Everything we owned we made ourselves. There were times I was forced to go to battle barehanded because my sword and shield was broken. Times where I barely survived each battle. Though its true I never lost, several of those victories came after a cost I'd not be willing to pay today. Then I came home one month and my little brother was murdered by our neighbors two weeks in. I don't say this to make excuses but for you all to understand, my family are well and truly from another time and our experiences shaped us as we turned into the worlds second oldest immortals."
Caroline asked. "Who were the oldest then?"
Bonnie answered. "Silas. Him and his witch lover betrayed my ancestor after she made the immortality spell for Silas and herself. She cursed him and his lover into stone and created the other side for herself and Silas should he ever take the cure and decide to join her. Alex has to put Silas down a while back because he sought to destroy the other side and unleash every dead supernatural being back onto this earth. Alex faced him and let his other side take over. The battle itself didn't last long. Alex tore him apart, literally and drank him dry. The real hard part was putting the beast back in its cage. It took me and every Bennet witch to have ever lived channeling all we had to beat the beasts rage and willpower down so Alex could take control again. He passed out for three days while I fed him blood bags constantly."
Damon spoke up. "Talk about a real life Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde situation you got going on."
I grunted. "Shit happens. Now back to Niklaus. I've followed as closely as I could over the centuries and he's become a bit paranoid and sadistic in his need to never be the victim again. I've bought all his greatest works of art he's sold over the centuries but one."
I waved a hand to the rolling canvas of a boy facing a wolf and not backing down while another older person fled. Bonnie spoke first. "Henrik."
I nodded. "This is Klaus's outlook on the events of the past. Henrik, our youngest brother facing down the wolf while Klaus himself fled. I couldn't bring myself to buy it and I couldn't let it be lost to time so I had a friend you met today, pull some strings and get it put up here, where it'll be preserved for all time."
I sighed. "When the Germans sacked Paris and stole it I went to Germany and slaughtered several bases to bring it back. After that, Sebastian has been keeping a personal eye on it every time a war breaks out near France. He's killed several art thieves over the years to keep it here. He's even killed a couple politicians that tried to have it moved."
I sat down on a bench and spoke. "There was once a poor family in Bulgaria that had a plan to take over the trade there. Sebastian, doing me a favor, gave them the start up money. They thrived and grew as they planned. Then, one day, their only daughter got pregnant out of wedlock. Sebastian brokered the deal between the head of the family and his old family of witches, called the travelers. The child would be raised in safety and when she was old enough, told about her mother. Sebastian, the ever loyal friend protected the girl as she was sent away to England. He watched over her from afar and when he saw my brothers and confirmed it was them, he sent word to me. While I was on my way, he without time to tell me, sent his family to save hers, for he knew my brothers after centuries of saving people from them with me. He lost all but his son Louie in Bulgaria the night of the massacre that shaped the young girls outlook on life. I just thought you'd aught to know the price that's been paid to ensure your safety and that of your ancestors."
I looked over to Katerina and Elena who were standing side by side crying. I sighed and grabbed Bonnie's hand. "The order Sebastian mentioned were those that followed us into battle after battle over the centuries. Protecting the innocent humans from my siblings and punishing vampires they find slaughtering outside battlefields. They've lost many members over the centuries protecting the Patrova line in the shadows as well as the Bennet line when I was incapacitated in one way or another. Sebastian himself knows more about your ancestors than I do myself, as he was my right hand. To this day he waits to defend the lines with his son."
I stood and walked to the next room over and stood before a painting that was a memorial of sorts. When they followed me over eventually, they looked at a battlefield of dead and wounded warriors. Bonnie was hugging my side now. I smiled lightly and spoke. "On this painting you'll find every member of the order. Every dead and living soul that has spent their immortal lives saving mortals for no personal gain. I hope you note the number of living ones versus the dead."
In the battlefield their were countless dead and only a hand full alive fighting a giant shadow beast that seemed insurmountable. Bonnie sighed. "Five are left alive."
I chuckled. "You forget the beast."
She looked at me and I nodded. "They were the ones to bring me back when I went under before. Luckily I've never killed any of those lovable fools. They refused to stand by me so they depict it as them fighting my faults. Or as Sebastian would put it, my dumb ass family. You should know that those are very real numbers and how they died. Take note that none of them went peacefully. Sebastian convinced Vincent Van Gogh to paint it as he gave him the memories as dreams."
Matt spoke up. "I think I'm going to be sick."
I chuckled. "That's the sign to stop this trip down memory lane. Enjoy yourselves and look around. The order secretly own the Louvre so you're free to look at anything and spend all the time you need. I don't recommend stealing though. They would hunt you to hell itself for touching anything here. To them this is memory lane and they often come here for closure after missions or to be with the dead."
I walked away towards the Egyptian exhibit. After a few hours and pictures we met at the entrance and headed to Pur' for dinner. When we were seated, Katerina chose one on my left. I looked at her and she muttered. "I need blood, it's been a while since I've fed."
I chuckled. "Haven't you asked Matt yet?"
She shook her head. "I figure it would cause problems later if I try anything with him."
I nodded. "How bad do you need blood?"
At the mention of it, her eyes shifted a little. I sighed and through up a glamour and told her. "No one can see but the group. Ask someone and get it done."
She turned to me and asked. "Can I have some blood then?"
I raised an eyebrow and grabbed a glass before slitting my wrist deeply over it and filling the glass. When I healed, I passed the glass to her. "All you had to do was ask."
Isobel looked at us weirdly and Damon commented. "Blood sharing is kind of intimate. Why would you share it with Katherine?"
I raised an eyebrow. "Kid, I've been around a long time and I've never heard that load of bull. Sure it's usually done by loved ones and family, but it doesn't mean it can't be done with a friend. After all, I drained you and fed you not long after and I didn't feel any need to screw you."
Bonnie burst out laughing and Elena followed. Katherine raised an eyebrow at Damon. "Do you want to share something Damon? Has your interest in the same sex been piqued?"
Everyone burst out laughing and he spluttered for a minute before saying. "That was different. You were punishing us then."
I nodded. "And you've grown since then. You've become more mature. Less young in a vampire perspective. Keep it up and one day I may view you as an equal. Until then, maybe stop pulling strings lest you hang yourself."
He frowned a little then nodded. Katherine finished her glass and asked for more which I gave. Isobel asked. "Does it do anything? Blood that old and powerful? Klaus's heals werewolf bites, what does yours do?"
I smiled and looked at Damon. "Ask Damon. He should've figured it out by now."
He snorted then smiled. "It strengthens us. It's temporary but for a few hours afterwards I felt like I could bench press a mountain."
I snorted. "Ever the kid."
Isobel looked to me with the rest. I sighed. "I can pass on a bit of my strength each time they drink from me. If they do it often, they can let it build up to about half my strength. It's permanent, but if you use it to much, it spreads out through your body and makes your overall power rise a little. Not noticeably at first but over time it helps."
Isobel asked. "Can I try some?"
I gave her a glass of it. When Damon asked Bonnie spoke up. "Enough, he's not a keg you can tap at a frat house party. They needed it, you don't."
I smiled and took her hand. Jeremy spoke up. "Maybe that's what happens then."
We all looked to him as he continued. "Maybe all the blood the beast takes is filtered into your blood as a super shot of strength. All the blood is filtered for whatever gives you strength and enters your bloodstream to keep you strong. When you feed other vampires it goes into them like a steroid shot. Enough of it and they can become nearly like you."
I smiled. "Second favorite human for the win. It sounds plausible and reasonable. Maybe it does make me a type of keg-"
Bonnie smacked my chest. "You're not going to try and empty it all out are you?"
I shook my head. "I fear it would give the beast a foothold I'm not ready to fight for."
With that out of the way, we devolved to idle chatter while the waiter served us. The next few days passed quickly and when we were to leave Katherine hugged Louie who was seeing us off in his father a place. She thanked him for Bulgaria and trying to save her family.
He grinned like an idiot then told her thanks weren't necessary. It was order business and that they all took an oath to protect. He frowned towards the end saying. "If you hadn't stopped the wonton killing not long ago, your name was to come up soon. Try not to continue that way. My family didn't die to save a murders family. They died to save a young girls family. I don't regret it one bit but I also wouldn't regret ending you if you continue down that path. Not even Alexander could protect you from the order if your names up. Sure we would die, but so would you. You would leave him alone and empty inside because of your actions."
She sighed and held back tears. Isobel and the Gilbert's thanked him for his sacrifice in seeing their family safe and everyone else thanked him for being there for the innocents.
We headed to the airport and borders the Jet to London. We spent three wonderful tourist filled days there before heading to Egypt. We visited pyramids and stood on a sphinx head.
I told them a few things about Egyptian magic and their witches. When we left, we heady to Sydney, Australia. We sat in the front row of the opera house and listened to beautiful music. Many pictures were taken and we visited the outback for a tour ride.
I turned into a wolf few a few hours and let Bonnie ride me as I chased Kangaroos. We had a blast. On the last day, we went swimming in their beautiful waters. Katherine got bit by a shark and we had shark for lunch.
I had to feed her a magically potent drop of blood and healed her. I caught a sea snake while snorkeled the reef. I let it go and it fled causing Bonnie to smile.
Next up was China. We walked the wall and took pictures with each other. We visited the Buddhist temples and took a few picture before we left to Japan. Matt found himself a fling and Anna dragged Jeremy into his first threesome.
While the rest of us visited their temples and took pictures of the imperial palace. We visited the shrines of Kyoto and I mentioned the spirits here sometimes manifested as oni. We left towards Germany and I showed them the wall. I even showed them where I woke up naked.
They had a laugh and we visited the local pubs for beers. When Jenna bulked I pointed out to her that this wasn't America and I was a vampire with money enough to change laws. She quieted down and everyone had a blast.
We flew to Amsterdam next. I showed them the sights. It had practically no sights that were legal elsewhere but it didn't stop us from going to a coffee shop for lunch and ordering pot brownies. After everyone was mellow, Matt went off to the red light district. I sent Damon and Jeremy to make sure he didn't get mugged.
They came back to the hotel later that night. Anna had joined them while the rest of us sat in the hotel room telling stories. I learned that Jenna was a wild child till her sisters death, then she buckled down. Elena told me about their child hood mishaps while Bonnie and Caroline helped fill in the blanks. We left the next day to Prague.
While we were there Matt hooked up with another girl that he eventually brought back to the motel. As soon as I saw her, I grabbed her by the throat. Matt yelled. "What the hell man?"
I snorted and tossed her to Katherine. "Katerina, meet Nadia Petrova. Your daughter and the reason we stopped here. Nadia, meet your mother."
The group was stunned except Bonnie. She was the one to suggest stopping by on the off chance we ran into her. I grabbed Matt by the head and did a few magical spells to check for passengers, the traveler body jumpers.
When I found him alright I turned back to Nadia. "Where are the travelers? I know they're in town. If I have to look for them, there deaths will be spectacular."
She looked afraid and Katherine spoke. "Answer him Nadia. You do not want to piss him off. The travelers are finished either way."
Nadia looked panicked and a couple people burst into the room. I grabbed them and drained them of power, locking them in the bodies simultaneously. I dropped them to the floor and grabbed the dagger the second one had. "It's been awhile since I've seen one of these. I have one myself as well. Tell me where the travelers are hiding and I'll let you save one."
She made her decision after that. "They're in a trailer park not far from here. If you're determined to do this then kill them all or I'll never be able to stop running."
I nodded and grabbed a map before tossing the dagger to Damon. "Bring those two and be ready to kill a lot more. They declared war on the spirits and want to blow up the doorway to the other side, there by permanently ending all souls there. Ric's over there right now."
I pulled out another similar dagger and tossed it to Anna. "I'll lock them in there bodies and make sure they can't run. You two end them."
I kissed Bonnie and left in a blur as they followed. We found most of them there. I through up a massive barrier around the park and they started the slaughter. When they were done I told them. "Make sure everyone of them gets stabbed."
They did a clean sweep and Damon blew up a gas line while I cast a massive locator spell for multiple targets. I found a hand full then took them out myself. I stole wallets and jewelry to make it look like a crime spree.
When we got back to the motel, they went to clean up while I grabbed a glove and did the same spell on a massive scale. I channeled most of my smaller talismans. When it was done I made a call and teleported the daggers away to the clean up teams.
When I sat the phone down I turned to Nadia. "Now what are we going to do with you?"
She snorted. "Just kill me. I'm tired of helping bastards."
I sighed and Katherine smacked her. Bonnie walked over to her and touched her head before teleporting her to the vault. "She can cool off in there until our vacation is over. She'll be fine."
I nodded and turned to Katherine and Elena who were side by side with Isobel. "That my friends, was the only other Patrova family member alive. As of right now, you could easily say they're all vampires and the family line has ended."
Katherine snorted. "Hey I did my part. I had my daughter and you just met her."
I chuckled. "That's not the point of it Katerina. It means now that you're all here, the order has done its part. You're all vampires and two out of four are over five hundred years old. You can officially take care of yourselves now."
Katherine looked stricken. "But-"
I saw that she couldn't speak so I shook my head. "The orders job for protecting the Petrova line is done, it doesn't mean I won't child."
I turned and grabbed Bonnie's hand. We left Prague that hour. We'd spent a month traveling the world. Now it was Mexico time. We flew to Cancún and partied for a week. We traveled all of Mexico visiting cities and sites. We went to the temple of the sun and laughed our asses off when Damon tried to enter and his hand caught fire.
Bonnie told him. "The temple itself was used as a focus to channel solar energy by the shamans. You touching it and not catching fire would be more of a shock."
I chuckled. "Don't worry Damon, I can't touch it either without discomfort. It's why I'm back here with a camera and your ass is on fire."
Damon went to speak then he started running around because his ass was literally on fire. When he came over I put it out with a simple water manipulation spell. He had to head behind a tree to change as he was bare assed like chaps now.
After a few pictures he'd take a few years living down we headed to the next destination. New Orleans. I changed the flight early on to make sure we'd get there in time. No one else knew where we were headed or why.
I spent my down time rubbing oil on Bonnie and enjoying her very enthusiastic moans. When we came out of the bedroom, Bonnie headed to the entertainment room while I met up with Damon at the bar. Matt and Jeremy came over.
I handed them drinks and Jeremy asked. "What are you doing that keeps Bonnie so happy?"
I snorted and Damon smiled as well. I told him. "It took me years of practice to know what a woman wants kid. In the beginning I was no Casanova myself. As a matter of fact, I had very little in the way of people skills. I was raised as a warrior not a lover. So if you want an instant mastery you're talking to the wrong person."
Damon set his drink down. "I got this.-"
I put my hand over his mouth and shook my head before pulling out Sage. I lit it and tossed it in an ashtray. "Now you can speak without being murdered in your sleep or kicked out of bed."
He looked grateful. "Right, thanks."
He turned to Jeremy. "As I was saying. What you need to do is woo her. Don't treat her like the sock you keep for lonely nights."
I chuckled. "What he's trying to say, Is you need to find out what she likes and treat her to it. Indulge her and for the love of god learn how to massage a woman's body. Scented candles and the right oil with some technique goes a long way. Then for dates, take her somewhere you think you'll both either hate or enjoy. It keeps the conversation alive."
Damon smirked. "Right, that. And don't tell your sister I said this, but what you need is experience. The kind you get from practice with Anna, got me?"
Jeremy nodded. "I think so."
I handed him a scotch. "Then at least you're learning. Now finish that and off with you."
I turned and started telling Matt. "You on the other hand are single. So unless you're looking for a relationship, I suggest you ignore that."
He snorted. "Sounds good to me. I haven't had a steady relationship since Caroline. And that wasn't very steady, I ended up being lied to and left for Tyler."
I sighed. "Well, it seems you can only go up from here. Find yourself a girl and either stick with her or make it very clear to her it's for fun."
Damon spoke up. "I here ya. No messing around and word games. Be straight forward and up front about it."
I clinked my glass before downing its contents. Caroline and the others came in and I chuckled. "We've been caught boys. Remember, they'll never take us alive!"
I waved a hand and the sage was put out. I winked at Jeremy and Matt as Bonnie grabbed me by the arm saying. "Come here, we need to talk."
Damon chuckled. "Ooh, your in trouble now."
Elena spoke up. "Damon, a word in private please."
Anna grabbed Jeremy as well and Matt was left chuckling as he drank. Bonnie pulled me to our bedroom and spoke when the door was closed and sage lit. "We decided that as thanks for being so good to us, you boys deserved a little reward."
She shoved me to the bed before she started walking and stripping clothes as she went. By the time she was on top of me, she was fully nude. With a thought, she shredded my clothes, leaving me the same. As she climbed on top of me she made invisible chains that bound my hands. "What's this for?"
Bonnie shrugged and raised a challenging eyebrow. "I'm in control now. I want to have fun."
I smiled then groaned with her moan as she impaled herself on me. She started at a slow pace and quickly sped up to a gallop. As she bounced away on me her nails dug small bloody lines on my chest. I could feel sexual energy gathering in the air now, the others must be doing something similar.
I left that thought when she squeezed her insides clenched on me like a silk fist. We both shuddered and more natural lubricant was added from her. When she started a heavier pace, my bodies muscles started tightening.
I felt her draw on the sexual energy and magnify the pleasure around the plane. At the epicenter, we were a storm of ecstasy. I strained against the chains to raise my head as I found my pleasure about to peak. She saw my wants and made some of her own known. After a deep kiss, she drew a nail across her breast and drew a little blood.
She pushed my head towards it and I felt her link my pleasure with her own. When my lips touched her breast and tasted it, we exploded in a violent and volatile storm of pleasure. My body shook and the chains made of magic snapped as I grabbed her while we both fell into a seemingly abyss of pleasure.
She had a more throaty response and I quite enjoyed it. Her screams nearly blew the doors off our room as the plane hit a lot of turbulence and shook. Something primal in me snapped and my roar joined hers. The door literally went flying and the only thing stopping us from falling out of the sky was the spells I'd put into place that kicked in.
We were a mess of orgasms and sweat when we finished yelling. The abyss of pleasure seemed never ending as orgasm after orgasm racked our bodies. We passed out from the intense overload. Her pleasure and mine feeding each other's.
I came to as what I felt was a considerable time later. She was still on top of me letting out little cute moans in her sleep. My entire body was tingling and numb a little. I felt a giant wet mess between our bodies where we were still joined.
I checked to make sure I hadn't bit her breast and wounded her. I feard she'd have bled out in our sleep if she wasn't still moaning. I saw the doors gone and waved a hand, using the sexual energy that was enormously magnified still in the air. I pulled the doors back and magically fixed them.
I held her as she woke up slowly and when she moved to sit up, we both groaned. I finally got a look at the mess we'd made. Our entire lower bodies were covered in our combined love juices. Her body wasn't nearly enough to hold in my multiple releases and she'd let her own body go as well, causing a uniquely arousing mess.
I felt myself hardening again and she groaned and moaned before shaking her head. "No more for now please."
I nodded and helped her off of me. It was a challenge in itself not to continue when I felt her slide off of me. When she was finally free, another mess came flooding out of her and I growled in my throat. The wolf within was satisfied by what it saw and I can't say I wasn't as well.
The bed was already soaked. So a lot more wouldn't hurt it anyway. She tried to stand and her legs became shaky and weak. I broke the pleasure link and stood, helping her as well. I carried her to the bathroom for a shower and when I set her down in it, she pushed away my hands. "Go, if you stay we'll continue and I need to let my body rest."
I chuckled and went to clean the bed before heading to a shower myself. When I was done, I found Bonnie in the entertainment room with everyone else except Jeremy. Anna pointed out. "Jeremy's in the shower, he should be done soon."
I nodded and turned to Bonnie who looked a little guilty. I sighed. "Ok, spill. I haven't felt anything like that since the seventies when I did a massive orgy spell."
Bonnie blushed and Caroline spoke up. "Bonnie here bragged about what sex was like with you and Jenna and a few others wanted to try the feeling as well. I sort of pushed it further when I described Klaus's exploits. When she mentioned doing sex magic, Anna said something about a spell she experienced in the seventies that she hadn't experienced before or since. Bonnie found the spell and when she told us it was one you had created yourself and Anna experienced it before I told Bonnie fare is fare. We convinced her to try it out on all of us except the captains. And-"
I held up a hand and kept a straight face. I sighed and sat down. Bonnie was looking at me nervously. I shook my head. "I'm not mad Bonnie love. I could never be mad at you. You could set the world on fire and send it all to hell and I'd still think you a goddess."
She smiled and got up walking over to me. I turned to Anna. "That spell was a one off I thought to never use again because of the sheer pleasure involved. Human brain chemistry can be severely altered to become addicted to it. I feared I would turn an entire generation into sex addicts. I didn't want to influence people so much."
As Bonnie sat on my lap I sighed at the pleasure I felt that made the group a little jumpy. I chuckled. "You reap what you sow. It's a spell that lasts a day. A day of pleasure for all around us to share in on. And now is the perfect opportunity to tell you that we're almost to our destination."
Katherine jumped up. "And what is that?"
I grinned. "New Orleans. It's Mardi Gras. Every college to be should experience it once before going to college."
They all paled and I chuckled saying. "I'll be delinking myself and Bonnie from it but the rest of you are in for a treat. I suggest you have a few drinks now because you just made this celebration entirely more interesting."
I delinked is and tied off the spell. "There, enjoy."
I grabbed my drink before doing a little healing spell on Bonnie's wounds. Damon has a grin on his face that wouldn't quit while Caroline asked. "And what's Bonnie's punishment?"
I chuckled. "I would say this isn't exactly a punishment, more like a learning experience. Bonnie here is forbidden from using magic to heal her sore neither regions. You lot can enjoy or suffer by your own making."
Jenna grabbed a bottle of tequila and started pouring shots. "Bottoms up. It's going to be a long day."
They all reached for them. Jeremy finally came in and asked. "Ok, what'd I miss?"
I burst out laughing and Jenna pegged a bottle of scotch at my head. I happily snatched it out of the air and poured myself another. While I drank, the others filled him in on the day he was about to experience.
When Jenna asked for him to be excluded and he declined I chuckled. "I wouldn't rob him of the experience. I have some business to attend to and today is also the fete des benediction. A witch holiday that calls for a parade of its own. I'll be taking Bonnie to it. You lot can earn yourselves some beads and have a party."
I chuckled at their remorseful and hopeful faces. "Oh, and don't think you'll find a witch in this city willing to remove one of my homemade spells, especially today. They know my signature and the ancestor spirits won't want to piss me off to much so they won't allow it."
And there went the last of their hopes. They all started doing shots. Even Pearl came over for one or two before asking. "That feeling during it, when she linked you in, was that how you usually feel?"
I grinned. "I've only ever felt that with Bonnie."
Jenna slammed back her fourth shot before saying. "If only Alaric were here, he'd have been a hell of a dance partner on this. And he's an original as well."
I chuckled. "Then you'll be happy to know that if all goes well, he should be joining us tonight."
Everyone went quiet and Damon demanded. "Explain!"
I snorted. "Watch the tone kid."
Bonnie spoke up next. "Last time we were here he made arrangements with the witches to bring him back."
Damon sighed. "So that's what you meant when you said you needed to gather some things."
I shook my head. "Not exactly. While you all were enjoying the sights on this trip, I've been gathering natural herbs and things we'll need if we are to get him back without his darker half. Bonnie's cleansing herbs wouldn't work on him after he's already established an alter ego."
Matt asked. "So all of this, that we did was a shopping trip for you?"
I smiled. "Perceptive but wrong. Me and Bonnie made two lists. Things we needed or wanted done, and places that were fun to visit for all of us. Prague was a fairly boring city unless you like prostitution, but we needed to go to find Nadia. Other than that, it's all been fun and a little business. I can do both and you all were having a blast, try not to cheapen it. We're here in Mardi Gras for two reasons, Alaric and a party. Once the week is up, we're headed to Hawaii for drinks, beaches and tiki bars. A week there and we'll move on to my private island for the rest of summer break. We'll be taking a yacht I bought from Hawaii so if you happen to pick someone up for fun or meet someone you like, it's up to you."
Bonnie spoke up. "I'd suggest you stick together to keep the people that are effected a small group. The magic spreads by contact so the less people you touch or who touch you, the better off you'll be."
Damon snorted. "Screw that. We're here to have fun. I say we split up into two's and make friends. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for us to experience a spell that could potentially turn a city into an orgy."
I chuckled. "You're looking down on my spells. If used and spread, it could effect a state in a day if you start out with a big enough crowd. Though the feed back would definitely be bad then. I suggest not trying it."
We landed ten minutes later while they debated the merits of spreading it for fun. Even Elena was for it saying. "It's a once in a lifetime experience."
While they took a limo from the airport, I drove myself and Bonnie to the cemetery on a motorcycle. When we got there, the parties were in full force. Sexual magic clung to the air of the city.
The limo cut a swath through it until a parade started and they got out becoming patient zeros for what would later be known as the wildest Mardi Gras in history. I led Bonnie to the alter where everything was prepared for the ritual.
After a while, three harvest girls came out. I recognized one as Davina and another as The Deveraux girl. I asked. "Where is your fourth?"
"Right here."
The red headed witch came out now. I snorted. "You're no more a harvest girl than I. I am wondering what you're still doing alive though."
Davina spoke up. "The ancestors gave her a reprieve for other duties seeing as you declined to be our elder anymore."
I sighed. "The covens have other elders. Ask and they shall come."
Monique spoke up. "As the harvest girl for the French quarter coven I declined their offers. I don't want them influencing us too much."
I shook my head. "Very well. Let's get this over with. I have other business to attend to and I'm sure my soon to be alive friend would like to party with his woman."
I set up a massive cleansing ritual around their resurrection one. When I was ready, they started. As the body of Alaric was lowered into the vat, I smiled and they began with the elements. Bonnie asked me from next to me. "They're doing the same one we did on Qetsiyah, is he going to stay alive?"
I chuckled. "I didn't have preparation time for Qetsiyah's so she was bound to the moon cycle. They have had a lot more time and were willing to put a lot more power into it. He will be fine. As soon as he wakes up, I'll activate this soul cleansing ritual and the corrupt shit from the ring will be cleansed from him."
She frowned. "Will it work?"
I smiled. "This is the worlds strongest cleansing ritual. I made it with the help of nearly every witch I met in my long life. It was originally supposed to be for the beast inside me, but it won't be defeated so easily. Even if I cleanse it, it will come back over time and return or be remade into something worse if I let it."
I saw Genevieve, the redhead start doing something differently and I sped over grabbing her by the throat. "Ah Ah little witch, he will not be bound by you. Try that again and the ancestors will have to find another elder to raise."
She choked out. "I was-"
I squeezed tighter. "I am well versed in the Magic's of this ritual, I know what you were trying to do, and if you try it again I'll make your current life far worse than anything you could possibly imagine. I am not one of these little girls to be fooled by your lies, I have studied every aspect off magic there is."
I released her and she fell to the ground holding her throat. The harvest girls looked at her with questioning eyes and I poured power into myself and studied all they'd done. I reached into their spell work and crushed the dark objects she'd hidden within before turning to the girls. "This is the last warning I'll give to the covens. The next time you all try to turn my friends into puppets for your own ends I'll see to the slaughter of every witch in New Orleans."
I turned to the alter. "I don't know what games you're playing, but if you're listening to Esther, it will only end badly for you. I can just as easily become your enemy as stay your friend. I know you're watching this, so the next time you allow it to happen, I'll start with every elder in all nine covens."
I went back to Bonnie's side and she asked me quietly. "What was she trying to do?"
I whispered. "She wanted to sacrifice the power of several dark objects to turn Alaric into her personal slave. I destroyed the objects and removed all influence they had on the ritual. He'll be fine now."
The three harvest girls were looking at Genevieve with questionable looks and Davina with an outright hostile look. Monique continued leading the ritual now and in no time Alaric burst through the hardened mud.
The girls left the cleansing circle and I pulled a lot of power into the cleansing ritual. I used way more than necessary to insure no one could mess with it. As I directed the Magic's into Alaric his eyes flowed white and light shown out his orifices.
When I I released it as it finished, his skin had a dim white glow to it. He stood up. "Thanks for that."
I chuckled. "No problem. Feel any need to stake me or my siblings?"
He shook his head. "Not in the slightest, well no more than Klaus deserves anyway."
I laughed and Bonnie joined me as she gave Ric a hug. When they broke apart I shook his hand and he pulled me into a hug. "Thanks, I mean it. That place sucked."
I chuckled. "Ready to see the rest and join an orgy spell?"
He laughed now and I turned to the Harvest girls. "I believe your parade will be starting in an hour. I've brought a magically significant gift for each of you for this one. Go get ready and I'll see you at the after party for the gift giving."
I turned to Genevieve as she couldn't meet my eyes. "You on the other hand are on my last nerve. One push and you'll wish you were back with the ancestors."
She shivered and I grabbed Alaric with Bonnie. We blurred and appeared next to the motorcycle. I hoped on with Bonnie saying. "You'll have to follow on foot. Shouldn't be hard for an upgraded original like yourself. Congratulations by the way on being truly unkillable by all but me."
He grunted. "Not like I had a choice in that."
I smiled. "We rarely have a choice to be what we are, it's more of a choice to be who we are instead."
He nodded. "Wisdom from the wise. Are you going to start punishing me now as well?"
I snorted. "You're hardly a child Ric. You were given absolute control over yourself. Speaking of which."
I pulled out a daylight ring for him. It was cloudy but I couldn't take the risk he'd be deep fried and I have to start the whole revival process over again.
I turned to the graveyard. "Kol, Finn, I've already seen your eminent revival. I don't know how, or by who, but yours will come soon enough, I can feel it. When you do, try to remember he was a tool of Esther's sent to end you all. He had no say like we didn't. I'll see you soon little brothers."
I drove off and Alaric followed behind. We arrived at the parade and found the group split up. The parade had taken a fun turn with more touching and flashing than I remembered it to be. A girl yelled for Bonnie to show her boobs and she sent me a challenging eyebrow. I chuckled and took off my shirt.
Nearly a dozen necklaces came my way. I handed them to her. "It's up to you but I'll break any hands that reach for a feel."
She laughed and pulled up her shirt for the crowd. They were far more receptive to her. I chuckled and turned to Alaric who was looking away. "She's about half a block ahead. Use your senses and let the spell wash over you."
He nodded and I told him. "Get in the spirit my friend. I brought you back during one of the biggest parties ever. The least you can do is enjoy it."
He snorted and blurred. I laughed my ass off before walking to Bonnie and pulling her into a kiss. "Let's go get some body paint done. If you're feeling up for it some tassels as well."
She laughed as we joined the party crowd. We ran into a body paint stand and Bonnie chose a unicorn to be put on my chest. I got her back with rainbow and pot of gold on hers. The pot started at her waist and the rainbow covered her everything upwards.
When we were painted we left to find drinks. We watched the parade from the side of the street. We wondered around drinking and having fun. When it was time, we did a water cleaning spell and washed it off before putting our shirts on and heading to the witch parade.
We watched as the harvest girls shook the earth and blew a wind around, before Davina lit the French crest for the fireworks signal. It went off like a hitch and when it was over, we headed to the Mikaelson compound for the after party.
We watched as each faction head gave gifts and walked over just after the faction heads finished. The humans seemed upset but otherwise everyone else was calm.
I kissed Bonnie's hand before she stepped forward saying. "A gift from the Bennet witches and our line."
She waved a hand and a present that held rare magical bracelets that linked others magic appeared at each of their feet. They nodded. "Bless you."
When Bonnie stepped back I stepped forwards saying. "A gift from the worlds oldest beast."
I waved a hand and several presents were laid at their feet. "My collected knowledge of elemental Magic's and personal theory's you may like to explore after you've mastered them. You'll find it's the only copies out their not in mine or my loves hands."
They all smiled and bowed their heads a little. "Bless you. The ancestors say they await for you to begin teaching again."
I smiled and backed away. The human leader I recognized as Francesca Guerrera asked Niklaus. "Whose he and why does he call himself the worlds oldest beast?"
Nik laughed. "That is my big brother and it would be a very bad idea if you messed with him. From what I can tell he's in town for the party. I wouldn't advise trying to black mail him. He'd kill you and this entire city if you touched his girl. His temper makes me look positively tame. And that was before he became an original vampire and later werewolf."
I ignored it and walked over to Elijah and Hailey. "Little brother, a bit of advice, stay away from Mardi Gras. Bonnie here tampered with an old orgy spell and tonight's parties are going to be wild. Anyone near it will be drawn into the spell for mind numbing orgasms till tomorrow."
Elijah smiled and took Bonnie's hand before kissing it. "I take it he's punished you for it?"
She blushed and looked away. Hailey chuckled. "I don't know Elijah, I'm feeling the need for mind numbing orgasms now."
I chuckled. "Then I'd tell you it's possible to bring it here as well by just heading back to this party."
She smiled and dragged Elijah away. We made our way around the room. I met with all the major people and even the priest was here with his niece. I told him. "Those dark objects you have were made from my brother Kol's experiments with Kamiya. A form of magic that uses objects and two or more supernatural beings. Be careful with them, I assure you they're all very dangerous."
Camille asked. "What do you know of dark objects?"
I smiled. "I have far more than you could possibly know the names of. Warehouses could be packed full before you'd even scratch the surface of mine. That's how I know."
The priest spoke. "Camille, this is a friend that saved me from the same fate as Sean. He also punished the witch that did it to Sean."
She was a lot nicer now and even shook my hand I introduced Bonnie to her before sitting with them and chatting about how Francesca became the human leader. "She called in some debts with the other human leaders and called a vote. So far I've refused to give her the dark objects."
I nodded. "Probably or the best considering she and her brothers are werewolves that haven't turned yet. They're probably plotting something."
That information didn't sit well with the priest. He spoke. "Excuse me, I need to make a few calls. We can't have her leading us if she's not even part of our faction."
I nodded. "Just remember that it could be worse. You could end up on the end of my little brothers wrath."
Camille asked. "Whose your little brother?"
I smiled and Bonnie told her. "He's the oldest male Mikaelson. Every original here is his younger siblings. Don't worry, we're only here for the parties before we go off to college out of this state."
The priest seemed relieved by her words. Camille asked. "Why is your family-"
I waved a hand. "I'll not be sharing family secrets or interfering in my siblings business. I want no part of the empire they've built here. I'm only called in when shit hits the fan and heads are about to roll. Basically, I'm the back up plan for them. I could slaughter all factions if they deem it necessary and that really is all you need to know."
I grabbed Bonnie's hand and led us away. Bonnie asked. "What was that about?"
I sighed. "She wanted Information and an alley against my siblings if necessary. I could tell by the way she acted. She's a psychologist in training. I let her say so little because I don't like being used for others gains. Well, except yours of course."
She asked. "How could you tell?"
I smiled. "You saw my reaction when I shook her hand? I'm a witch as well and since Silas, my abilities are more acute. I knew what she wanted with a touch. Just like I knew what the priest wanted, control back from the wolves I mentioned."
She nodded then asked. "What do you feel when you touch me?"
I smiled lightly. "Love, I feel the love that you have for me and I for you. Thought it's accompanied by other emotions some times, like the mischievous naughty emotions when you decided on the plane's events."
She blushed and nodded. We walked around and met more people. Eventually Nik came over a little mad. "What were you-"
I touched a finger to my lips and led him to an empty room. I lit some sage then he spoke. "What were you thinking telling the human faction Francesca is a werewolf?"
I shook my head. "She's hiding for a reason and I sensed it was harmful for our family and you in particular. I sought to remove her from power and perhaps spare you pain later."
He calmed down and asked. "What is she planning?"
I shrugged. "Not a clue but I think it has something to do with why she hasn't activated her curse. She and her brothers are alphas, they won't bend knee to you without a show of bloody force. I'm going to place a spell on you that will summon me if you but say my full name. I won't risk them hurting you or the baby if that's their goal."
He nodded and I raised his shirt to his chest, placing my hand on his heart. When I finished my spell a Nordic tune for our clan appeared on his chest. He hissed then I told him. "It will provide you with temporary access to my full power. You'll be weakened afterwards so be careful and call for me if you're in danger."
I gave him a hug before leaving him with tears in his eyes. I took Bonnie to party with the humans at Mardi Gras. Over the next week a lot of people died and the Guerrera's fled into hiding. I slipped away for a while to do a little business and buy up nearly all the bayou. I even managed to buy Rousseau's.
I got word that the priest was back in charge of the humans again and grateful to my brothers for helping him take down the Guerrera's. Jenna and Alaric haven't left the motel room since he found her at the parade. I'd begin to worry the spell hadn't worn off until Katerina announced she was bored. I chuckled. "We leave for Hawaii in a couple hours. Then it's drinks in the sun and you can find a few surfers to keep you company for the duration. After that we head to my private island for the last of the summer, If you're not interested I can have the jet take you anywhere you want after it drops us off in Hawaii, even California."
She frowned. "What's in California?"
I chuckled. "Stefan. He's visiting Lexi and her boyfriend Lee for the summer and he may stay longer. Don't go killing Lexi or you won't get out of the vault until Stefan's a thousand years old."
She pouted and sighed. "Fine! I won't kill Lexi."
I snorted. "Or anyone she cares for.
She pouted more and I chuckled. "Promise me Katerina. For me."
She sighed. "Fine I promise. Now can I have some of your blood?"
I held out my wrist. She blurred over and grabbed it before looking for my go ahead. When I nodded, she bit and drank her fill. When I felt she had enough I grunted. "That's enough. If you're still hungry you can grab a bag or a human and erase their memories after."
She pulled away and smiled. "Thank you dyado."
I nodded. "Now go see what the others are up to. I've a feeling Matt might stay after he ran into that orgy room. I haven't seen him sense."
She smiled and left. The party was dying down around mid day. It was clean up time for the city. I brought breakfast in bed for Bonnie as she woke up. I set the tray over her lap and leaned down for a kiss. "Good morning love. We leave in an hour and you need to eat something solid. You've drank half the city dry by now."
She snorted and smacked my chest. "Not even close."
I chuckled. "I swear I saw a tequila bottle grow legs and run away from you last night."
Her eyes narrowed. "That was you!"
I chuckled. "Guilty. I feared for your health if you drank any more. It was also a funny bit of magic to see the shock on your face."
She kissed me once more before saying. "You're an ass."
I grinned. "Your ass."
She laughed then grabbed her head. I handed her the ibuprofen and told her. "There's a hangover cure spell in your grimoire I'd you care to try it."
She asked. "Can you do it for me?"
I smiled. "As you wish."
A quick spell with some tea later, and she was back to full capacity. Slowly the group started making their way back. First was Damon and Elena with Pearl and Isobel. Isobel herself had a couple humans she sent away at the door to Elena's disgust.
Anna and Jeremy came back together with Katherine and Matt behind them. Matt was covered in beads and had a smile on his face. Katherine looked amused and had her own throng of beads on as well. Elena asked. "Let me guess, you flashed the people in the orgy?"
Katherine smiled and Matt spoke up. "She joined the orgy. Wore out half the guys there and several girls as well."
Elena was mad now but Katherine spoke before she could say anything. "We're different, you and I, we look the same but we have different wants and needs. I was just full filled mine and a few others. Matt's a stallion by the way. Big hit with the ladies. Even a couple guys tried to join him. A vampire named Josh was really interested as well."
I chuckled. "Are you up for Hawaii Matt or do you want to stay?"
He shook his head. "Na, I'm good to go. I want to keep moving forward."
I nodded. "All right, now who wants to let the lovebirds know it's time to pack?"
Half the group turned away. I sighed. "Very well, Damon your up."
Damon looked rebellious so I pointed out. "Just tell them if they want to stay they can meet us in Mystic Falls in three weeks. Till then the rooms theirs."
He nodded and left. After we packed up, Ric and Jenna came out. I saw their serious expressions and sighed. "What's wrong?"
Alaric shook his head. "We've decided to break up. I'm a vampire now and I can't bring that on her knowing one wrong move and I could kill her."
Jenna asked. "Is there anyway to reverse it?"
I shook my head. "It would kill him as a human to undo it. The same way it would kill any other vampire if we tried."
Elena spoke up. "The cure!"
Alaric and Jenna shook their heads. "That's for you and Damon. We've been discussing it all week. We can't take that opportunity away from you. We won't."
I sighed. "Then there's nothing I or anyone else to my knowledge can do. To remove your immortality would kill you. That's if trying doesn't cause a backlash and kill everyone around you as well."
They went silent for a moment before Alaric sighed. "Then it's time for me to go. I'll head back to Mystic Falls. You guys go on without me."
Damon spoke up first. "Ric, come on man. At the very least you can spend three weeks with me sipping drinks on a beach."
I saw his words had weight so I added. "There's another room on the jet for one more person. Besides, we'll be taking a yacht to my private island after a week in Hawaii. If you're worried about feeding on people, you can try bagged blood or some of the vampire mix drinks. Personally, I'm partial to the scotch blood."
He wavered farther and Katherine pushed him over the edge. "I'll teach you how to feed without killing while we're there."
Elena spoke up. "We all will."
I raised a hand. "I won't, sorry Ric, it's scotch blood or your dealing with them. And now that they've made their willingness to help known, I won't take no for an answer. I'll drag you kicking and screaming to Hawaii if I have to."
He looked apprehensive and I smirked. "I promise I'll be able to do it too."
He backed down. "Alright, but I'm not drinking scotch blood."
I shrugged. "Suit yourself."
While we flew over to Hawaii I spent the time getting Ric drunk and slipping a little of each mixed drink into his hand when he was wasted. Damon was right there with me having fun.
We spent a week in Hawaii as promised and Katherine flew out to California when we boarded the yacht. She ended up taking nearly a gallon of my blood for the road. I had to ring a promise out of her that she wouldn't give it to any witches.
The yacht cruise took three days to arrive at the private island. When we got to island, Bonnie was telling Elena and the girls about what we got up to here. I chuckled when she mentioned the weather reports. She turned to me. "And it won't be repeated here!"
I chuckled. "You say that now, but nearly all those times were started with your touch. Would it not be orgasmic to rock the world?"
She snorted and blushed. "Sure, just not literally this time."
I sighed and held up my hands. "Fine, I'll not start it, but I make no promises if you do."
She looked away blushing. It lasted all of three hours before we sent a tsunami out. It started with her handing me a beer in the water. The tide hit and when it receded, she was pulled against me in the water.
From there it went to kissing and touching and finally, a miniature earthquake as us being the epicenter. When we walked out of the water, the group was watching the tsunami build and leave.
I couldn't keep the grin off of my face. When they asked, I told them. "It was nature that pulled us together."
Bonnie blushed and nodded, causing everyone to laugh but Jenna. She spoke her mind. "You caused a natural disaster!"
I chuckled. "You saw the island across from us right?"
She nodded and I continued. "I bought it after last time and cleared out all the human influence on it. That's where the Tsunami will hit. If there are people on it, they're trespassing and I consider that bad luck or fate."
She wanted to argue but I pointed out. "Unless we start a hurricane, all the other natural disasters will happen to my property. You all can relax, if we sink the island, there's always the other one."
Alaric actually burst out laughing before everyone else followed. Jenna responded. "And if you cause another volcanic eruption?"
I chuckled. "Half the volcano collapsed in on itself last time but if you're that worried, we'll stay away from it. So relax. The only people here are the retired staff of my people and us. Have a drink and catch some sun or climb a mountain. There's plenty to do here."
Over the next two weeks we did everything the island had to offer. I spent an entire day as a wolf pillow for Bonnie when she did to much and tired herself out. The last day on the island, the jet showed up and I passed the yacht to the retired staff for their pleasure.
We flew back to Mystic Falls while I filled out my class list with Bonnie. Mine mirrored hers, while I ensured it was acceptable with the dean as the schools newest and largest donator. Whitmore college lost a lot when their name sakes line ended. I stepped in and fulfilled all the requests that was related to the school business.
I quashed any and all inquires into restarting the Augustine program and my people hunted down all those that knew about it or asked. It soon became an urban legend about the program that tried to bring back the dead.
I got a text from my people saying all the travelers were finally put down. I grabbed a globe and searched. When I felt no resistance and it came up blank, I believed it and let Nadia out for the trip back to mystic falls.
When she was out I told her. "The travelers are all dead and you're free from them. Your mother is in California, when the jet lands, you'll have it to fly there. Until then, maybe hang out and get to know your family. They're not that bad, I assure you."
She grabbed a drink and went to talk to her mothers look alike. I gave Pearl and Anna the mansion to use as they saw fit, Trevor and Rose were already there as well.
Matt had Vickie waiting at home for him while Alaric was offered a room in the mansion. He accepted after he found his apartment was takin over by another renter and his stuff was in storage.
He actually smiled when Damon mentioned top class alcohol and cars with an endless supply of blood. The limo was waiting for us at the airport that took us all back.
Most of my possessions were in the ring except for some cloths. I gave the master bedroom of the mansion to Ric and put him on the pay roll. Occasionally, the order would send him a mission to complete. Mostly just rouge vampires killing innocents or saving people from werewolves during full moons.
The first week of college was a little hectic as we all got used to living with each other. Vickie was given Matt's job at the grill with his pay, with the requirement that she not use it for drugs. Matt joined us in the co-dorm house.
His subject of interest was criminal law. Elena was pre-med and Caroline chose drama as her major. While Bonnie and I shared occult studies. Damon decided to stay out of the college scene and focus on the town council while we were in classes.
Two months into college everything was going great. I spent my down time completing all my preparations for the battles ahead. The totems were completed and the talismans as well. I was busy emptying the warehouse 13 looking vault of magical objects as I poured all their power into the totems.
After those two months, I'd emptied nearly a tenth of it out. It shrank as it emptied. One night after classes, I felt an immeasurable pull on my power and I knew Niklaus was using the rune to kill his enemies. I gave him all I could and I heard a roar of my name just as it stopped pulling. I grabbed all my extra talismans and teleported to him.
I found him covered in blood on the ground next to a church alter where Hailey lay dead with her throat cut and her baby gone. Elijah arrived just after me. I turned to him growling. "What the fuck happened here?"
He was bitten all over. He collapsed to his knees. "We were betrayed. The witch Niklaus was sleeping with weakened him and the Guerrera wolves returned in force with moonlight rings of Genevieve's creation. They weakened us both while their wolves bit our vampires. An upstart wolf turned the pack on Niklaus."
I sighed and channeled a healing spell into everyone present. Nik woke up with a scream. I saw his agony and I spoke. "Elijah filled me in. I got here too late. I brought enough power to kill an army. Wake the girl, it's time I see my niece."
Elijah spoke. "She's dead brother."
I snorted. "She has her daughters blood in her. She should wake as a hybrid in transition. Now, I said wake her before I do."
Nik walked over to Hailey's body and shook her shoulder gently. "Little wolf, wake up. Big brother says it's time for war. Let's get our Hope back."
She woke gasping for breath a moment later. I sighed. "Good, you're awake. There are people to kill now. Let's go get your daughter back."
We went outside to a maze of tombs. I snorted and released my full power for display. The whole graveyard shook. "Silly parlor tricks, I'll destroy it all."
I waved a hand and all the fake tombs exploded. All around, leveling most of the perceived graveyard and left only the real one. I walked in with my siblings following. Everything shook in my wake.
When we arrived at the alter, there were only two harvest girls present. They stood forwards spouting crap about their place of power and facing all witches. I grinned. "Then bring it, I'll slaughter every witch that stands against my family."
I drew back my hands and sent two concentrated beams of spelled fire and the spirits raised their hands producing a shield. I grinned and dropped my hands, releasing the spells. "Big mistake."
I ran at full speed and punched the shield with my full physical power while activating my curse. As soon as I touched the shield the spirits screamed. The shield shattered and I told my siblings. "I'll deal with the ancestors, kill the witches and save the baby then flee, I'll teach them a lesson for their betrayal."
I unleashed cursed spells and caused the harvest girls to fall to their knees as the spirits screamed in agony while I ripped magic from them. The only witch that wasn't busy with me was Genevieve. Klaus and Elijah tore her in half. Hope grabbed the baby and fled with my brothers.
I let loose it all and the spirits fled. I walked over to the two harvest girl. "Normally I wouldn't kill witches or harm kids, but you two tried to kill my baby niece, so I'll make an exception and an example out of you."
I used spells to heighten their senses kept them alive while I turned them both inside out with a rather dark curse. I tied them up by their tendons and innards. When I was done, I let them die after a few hours before cursing their souls to shreds that not even their ancestors could put back together.
When I left there, it looked like the worst horror scene ever imagined and even slightly worse than most battlefields I'd been on. I went to the compound, where I found Klaus feeding all the vampires his blood. Hailey was upstairs as well. As soon as I stepped foot inside I spoke. "Family meeting, now!"
They gathered in Klaus's office while the healed vamps continued where he left off with my stock of Klaus's blood. As soon as I entered, I destroyed all spells on the room and put up a shield. I lit sage then sighed. "Let me see my niece before I have to speak about secrets left unsaid for a thousand years."
Hailey handed me hope and her little face smiling at mine made my decision. "Elijah, clear of the desk. Hailey, hold her for a minute."
I teleported to Bonnie and took her away from Caroline's conversation on toast. "We'll be back in a couple days. Take notes please. It's urgent."
I teleported is to the office doorway and walked in. I closed the doors behind us.
