Sheila nodded. "It takes wisdom and power to know when and what to do and be able to do it. To pull off such spells it usually takes help from spirits on the other side helping as well."
She gave Bonnie a stern glare. "Now you listen here child, I don't want you attempting anything like that on me. You understand me?"
Bonnie looked sad as she replied. "Yes grams."
I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her close. "Don't worry Sheila, if she attempts it I'll interfere and pay the price for her."
Sheila sighed. "I figured as much. I'm looking to you to keep her out of trouble."
I nodded. "The book will teach her in steps. I'll just try to be there when she takes those steps. I have guarded your family for a long time and I'll not fail now."
Sheila smiled. "I know you won't. The spirits talk and I've heard your making big moves. You see something coming that even they can't don't you?"
I grimaced in pain. "A great many secrets I've kept hidden are coming to a head. I've a feeling if the doctors don't save you Friday is your last."
Sheila sighed and Bonnie shuddered while I held her. Sheila nodded in acceptance. "What's the secret of yours that starts it all?"
I frowned and turned to Bonnie's crying face. "My last name."
Bonnie shuddered and Sheila frowned now. "That's a lot in itself."
I nodded. "If I'm right, my family will be called to town soon. I've been moving to procure certain things that'll prevent major bloodshed and secure safe passage through that storm. I can guarantee Bonnie's life and perhaps a few others right now, but I haven't spoken to my family since I left them so long ago. I've received word they've become a vindictive arrogant lot that have cut a bloodier path through history than I did. And I doubt it was them being soldiers and warriors."
Sheila looked sad now. "I guess Ayana was kind enough to save our family with you. That's all we can hope for now."
I looked away and sighed. "If worst comes to worst, I'll see my mothers goals fulfilled and end the vampire species once and for all."
Bonnie clutched my arm knowing I meant me as well. "But-"
I shook my head. "If it's the only way I can find to keep you safe, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Relax love, I've lived a long life as you well know. I've told you everything but the secrets I keep hidden. Perhaps a few should die with me. If ever I should die, you'll know before hand."
She nodded. "You'd tell me?"
I smiled. "There are secrets I'd have to tell you to ensure you stayed safe. Besides, I'm this world, death doesn't always mean the end of the line."
I turned to Sheila. "You know of the place the spirits gather to talk?"
She nodded and smiled. "That's a good enough place for these old bones to rest."
I sighed. "It'll be the easiest on both of you to meet there. I've procured the land and had it transferred into Bonnie's name. I've even hired a crew of builders to fix up and refurbish the place. If you pass I'll place an iron clad barrier spell on the land to ensure no one can enter who means her harm."
Bonnie looked confused at my words and Sheila finally took pity on her. "He bought you a house and land and is in the process of fixing it up. It's where a lot of witches died. It's a place of power for our kind and he's gifted it to you."
I shrugged at Bonnie's smile. "I may use it to charge a few talismans if Emily and your ancestors are feeling generous. Don't worry it won't effect the power there. It's just a shortcut to ancestral magic like they use in New Orleans. I'd let them channel magic into me then into the talismans."
Sheila frowned when I said that. "Don't be lying to the girl now. Magic like that would burn most witches out or drive them mad. Your talking about being a conduit for some major magic channeling."
I shrugged. "Its not that bad for me remember. My cursed nature will prevent to much damage."
She snorted. "Like a bug in a zapper."
I chuckled. "Relax it'll only hurt me for a few days then I'll be right as rain."
She snorted again and looked at Bonnie. "Unless he's teaching you specific spells or things to do, never mimic his actions. The shortcuts he takes would kill normal witches if it didn't do worse."
Bonnie asked. "What's worse than killing them."
I sighed. "Stripping a witch of power for one. Your grandmothers right, unless I'm teaching you to do something never mimic my actions. The best result would kill you, the worst would leave you brain dead or permanently stripped of magic. For a witch either is far worse than death."
Sheila nodded. "Your mother knows from experience that there are worse outcomes than death. She fooled around with things best left alone and ended up powerless for her actions."
Bonnie looked worried so I comforted her as best I could. The next morning I left to a small town called Beacon Hills California. A saner person would ask why I didn't just go there first. I had to take an old staff member who had volunteered for the trip to get it all started.
It was a quiet trip that didn't result in any problems. The totem was linked to a tree witches used for sacrifice and so I had to say goodbye to the old friend. Once it was done, the tree resonated and I poured my own blood into the mix linking all the others around the world to my Talismans.
The constant power channeled into them and they were once again filling up at a fast pace. I teleported back to Bonnie's house earlier than expected. They were still at the hospital so I grabbed a shower and told my staff of the ritual and it's completion the member that was sacrificed was Jason's grandfather one of my previous butlers. Jason has a sad expression but nodded all the same. "He went out on his own terms with a friend at his side."
I sighed. "He'd been the one to wake me in the early nineties and stood by my side through a lot. I'm going to miss him."
Jason nodded and passed me a flask. "To family."
I took a swig and passed it back. "To family."
I comforted him and had a few drinks before standing up. "I need to get to Bonnie's side. You should look into finding yourself a partner. And don't give me that crap about working, you know I'd give you the time whenever you want it."
He sighed. "We'll see. I've almost settled on serving as my life's only goal. The rest of the families are thinking of moving and settling down in another small town. The staff would only stay on this generation."
I nodded. "I've waited for this day a long time. They should be ready to move on with their lives. Your families have been with me longer than most. I'd actually prefer it if you went with them and settled down with a woman and kids."
He shook his head. "Grandpa would've wanted one last Douglass to be by your side. My brothers and sisters will have enough kids for the new generation. I'll stick with you till the end."
I smiled. "And what a glorious end it will be then. Things are coming to a head a thousand years in the making and I'd rather be by my oldest friends side then apart."
I said goodbye and headed to the hospital where Bonnie and Sheila were waiting. I found Bonnie in the waiting area. When she saw me her eyes lightened up and she gave me a hug. I hugged her back and asked. "Are there any results yet?"
She whispered. "So far their hesitant to speculate."
I set her down and grabbed her hand. "Then let's go find out."
She led me to the examination room where Sheila was in a gown and sitting on the table getting blood drawn. I asked. "Are there any result from the tests in yet?"
One of the doctors in the back came forward. "We know some of what's killing her the problem is it's incurable and it's progressed to far for us to do anything."
I looked to Sheila and she spoke. "Cancer. Even you can't stop it. It started from my liver and spread throughout my body. At this point the chemo would finish me off and I know what you're thinking but that year would be one of absolute pain even if you did pull it off right."
Bonnie broke down in tears and I caught her before she fell. I held her as she cried and sighed. "Which doctor found it?"
Another came forward. "I caught it but I can't cure it."
I nodded. "The money will be transferred just the same. You're all done here. I'll transferred a million to all those here. My people will contact you all with your payment methods."
I carried Bonnie and told Sheila to change. When we left I sent a message to Jason to have it all arranged. He would give another hundred million to the hospital for trying.
I drove them back to the house and carried Bonnie to her room. She'd cried herself to sleep. Sheila was in the doorway watching me take care of her granddaughter. "Friday is the day isn't it?"
I nodded. "Friday night, I can't say I'm surprised but if your willing, I'll arrange for your death to fuel Emily's pendent and help Bonnie later in life."
She nodded. "Burry on those grounds. I'll be able to help her when my spirits strong enough."
Sighing I looked at her. "If you want, I'll make it a big funeral."
She shook her head. "Keep it small and quiet. I'll notify her father and get word to her mother. I'll see to it she inherits everything."
I nodded. "Let my people know what you need done and they'll get it done. If there's anything I can do to make it-"
She waved a hand. "I'm no sap, you know that. Just take care of her and protect her."
I nodded solemnly and we sat beside each other in silence watching Bonnie sleep off her tears and sorrow. I sent a message to Jason to have all the magic and occult stuff moved to Bonnie's new house. The builders would finish by Friday anyway. By the time the funeral would be done Bonnie would legally own everything Sheila leaves her.
The next few days were hard on us all. By the time Friday rolled around Sheila had said her goodbyes. We left to meet up with Stefan and the group at the old church grounds. When everyone was there I kneeled down and punched the ground. A tremor passed through the area and a large section caved in. I turned to the vampires. "Clear the rubble area. I'll begin when your done."
Anna and them moved at a fast pace. When they were done I nodded to Jason and they brought in ladders for the humans. I jumped down and set the torches. I turned to the vampires. "You'll have ten minutes before the spell goes back up and all vampires will be trapped inside. Only Pearl and Katherine are aloud to be taken out. If you break this in any way I'll burn you with the rest of the tomb vampires."
Damon nodded and Jason passed them a blood pouch apiece while saying. "If you don't use it you bring it out with you or you stay inside and burn. Final warning."
I began draining Emily's spell. The power was enormous and could probably hold me for awhile. When I was sure I'd gotten it all I turned to them. "Your ten minutes start now."
I waved a hand and the door fully opened. Damon and Anna raced inside with torches. After five minutes Anna and Pearl came out. I stopped them. "The device you stole from Gilbert. That's the price of your freedom."
She pulled it off her neck and handed me the pocket watch. I nodded. "A wise vampire would leave town. Jason will give you a house out of state if your smart you'll take it and lay low."
Jason handed Anna a paper and Jeremy spoke up. "Wait no! I just got to know her, you can't send her away!"
I snorted. "This town is about to be very dangerous for vampires and besides, they can always come back when it's safe."
I turned to Stefan. "Your brother has four minutes before I put the power back into the spell. I'd go see what's taking him so long if I were you."
Stefan ran inside and I turned to Sheila. "It's time if you want to do it."
She nodded and stepped forward grabbing Bonnie's hand and Emily's pendant. I put a hand on her shoulder and helped her channel all she had into the pendent. When she was empty of magic Jason came forward to help her stay standing.
Bonnie was sad because she knew what was next. I turned to the tomb and announced. "Times up. If you stay inside it's on you."
Just as I said it Stefan came out with Damon. I nodded and channeled the power back into Emily's spell and the tomb became a trap for vampires again when I was done, I slumped over a bit and Bonnie helped me. "It's done."
Jason waved and teams of staff members funneled into the tomb with flamethrowers. After a few minutes they came back out. "Mission accomplished boss. Their all burning and they'll be ash soon enough."
I nodded. "Then it's time we left this place."
I carried Sheila out and set her in the suv. Bonnie asked. "How much longer?"
I shook my head. "An hour or two at most. She's weak and channeling the magic wiped her out. She won't survive the night. Let's take her to the house, she deserves to be with family in the end."
I drove them to the house and laid Sheila in her bed. Bonnie's father couldn't make it and her mother was no where to be found so I lit a few candles and channeled a bit of magic. "Spirit ancestors of the Bennet line I call you here to grant your child safe passage to the other side. With her last act she used it to ensure the next generation is stronger than ever before. On her death the energies she releases will be given to the line. I ask that you accept her as one of your own and come forth to welcome her."
I channeled more magic to give those that wished it a visible form. Ayana was the first. Then several of my past friends and acquaintances. Every Bennet witch I'd ever met and a few I hadn't came out. Emily was the last. Bonnie was looking at them and smiling sadly.
I told them. "She doesn't have much longer now. I'll leave you to speed to your descendant and greet another."
I left the room after giving Bonnie a reassuring smile and lighting some sage to set them at ease. I waited outside the house and contemplated my next move. After half an hour Sheila came before me and smiled. "It worked. The line is strong."
I nodded with a smile. "I'll miss you my friend."
She nodded. "I'll be watching. It's time."
She faded and I headed inside. Bonnie was there sitting by her grandmothers body. I sat beside her and held her. When she grew tired I carried her to bed and called Jason. "It's time. Handle her with care and be sure the mortician is the one your family uses."
He confirmed it and hung up. I ignored the sounds they made as they showed up to take the body. I laid beside Bonnie and held her as she slept. Eventually, I found sleep as well. Then next day I handled the funeral arrangements and called Bonnie's father. "Rudy, she passed last night. The funerals at three. I've sent you the address if you care to show. If you can get ahold of Abby and let her know I'm sure Bonnie would appreciate it."
All I got was an answering machine so I left the message and sighed. I arranged it all to Sheila's instructions and the funeral was at a small graveyard on the new land Bonnie owned.
At three the funeral went through and we said our final goodbyes. Afterward I took Bonnie home. We spent the rest of the day comforting each other. The next day I woke up to find her studying the grimoire.
She was practicing the spells Sheila had taught her. I sat up and smiled. "If this is what you want to do I'll help."
I spent the next week teaching her how to do each spell and why they worked when she advanced I helped her understand and practice them. She went to school and came straight home to my lessons. After the second week I stopped her. She'd advanced really far in such short time. She could now face of against younger vampires and drop them from a simple pain spell.
I told her as I stopped her. "It's time you hung out with your friends again. I'm sure they miss you. I'll still teach you whenever you want but I won't have your sole connection to the outside world be me and school."
She bit her lip before sighing. "I guess you're right. I mean, I'd would be nice to see what Elena and Caroline are up to."
She walked towards me. "But then again, I would miss out on more of this."
She kissed me and undid her blouse. Several hours later I sat up in bed and told her. "While I'm always up for more of that love, I meant it when I said I don't want you to become a hermit. You're strong enough to face the Salvatore brothers alone and win. I think it's time you saw the world again instead of just me. Don't worry, I'll be there with you."
She smiled. "Alright, tomorrow I'll see them."
I chuckled and told her. "That gives us plenty of time for more."
She squealed and I tossed the covers over us. The next day I headed to the grill for a beer and burger while I waited for Bonnie to get off school. Right as I took a bite Damon sat down. "We have a problem."
I set my burger down. "This had better be important or you'll be apart of my next meal when I drain you dry and throw you in that vervain filled cellar you have."
He smirked. "If only you'd have been here to do it to Stefan. He robbed a blood bank and now Johnathan Gilbert is in town telling the council there are vampires among us. They believe him and are looking to him to handle it."
I raised an eyebrow. "It seems you have a problem then, not me."
He shook his head. "He knows I'm a vampire and he's threatening to put me to the council. He's blackmailing me to find something he says Pearl stole and since you're the one who sent her away I was hoping you'd know where she is so I can get it."
I snorted and pulled out the invention. I set it between us on the table. "This was the price for her freedom. It's what john Gilbert is looking for."
He reached for it and I put the knife I was using on my plate through his hand. He grunted and I touched his blood and tasted it. "You should really start taking vervain each day with blood or things like today will continue to happen to you."
He grunted and I sighed and pulled out the knife. "John wants to activate the device and kill all the vampires in town. You're going to let him have it. When the device actives and no vampires are found, he'll look the fool and leave town. Or at least I hope he does."
I let him take it and reminded him. "Deal with your brother before he becomes a problem I have to deal with. And Damon?"
He turned back to meet my gaze. "I hope I don't have to tell you what would happen if John found out about me because of you."
He shuddered and shook his head. "My lips are sealed."
I nodded and went back to my lunch. The blood from the knife made an interesting dip. When I finished and ordered another beer, Bonnie and her friends arrived. She walked over ahead of them. I chuckled as she sat down beside me and waved them over. "Relax, he's a big teddy bear."
I smiled and she turned to me. "You're taking me to the miss mystic falls party at the Lockwood house tomorrow."
I raised my hands in surrender. "I'm at your command my lady."
They sat down after they saw my good mood and Caroline interjected. "We need dresses."
Bonnie nodded and I handed her my credit card. "It doesn't have a limit but anything over a million and I'll receive a conformation text."
She smiled and Caroline squealed. "This is going to be so much fun."
Bonnie looked to me. "What about you?"
I shrugged. "I have plenty of suits. Just tell me when you want to leave and I'll be there."
She nodded. "We'll leave after lunch."
I nodded and a waiter came over. They made their orders and I ordered another beer. While they ate the mentioned a lot that I'd stopped paying attention to. I heard several interesting things. Elena confronted Jenna then John and found out about Isabel. She talked to Alaric about her mother and even talked him down from killing Damon. Then Damon from killing him.
I nodded and noticed one other thing had changed. Caroline was in the know now. It seems after their run in with me she had a lot of questions. They left not long after eating to go shopping, I went to my house to pick up my suit then to Bonnie's to wait for her.
While she was gone I dozed of on the couch while thinking on the future. Later that night she woke me up with a kiss. "Did you get your dress?"
She nodded. "Since I'm not in the running I stuck with light autumn colors."
I smiled and before I could get up she put her hand on my chest and got on top of me. "I still haven't rewarded you for that slick move today. You didn't have to give me your credit card in front of Caroline and tell us to have fun."
My smile grew wider. "I wanted to make sure you had a good time out. Was I right?"
She kissed me and started pulling up my shirt. I chuckled and helped her move things along. The next morning I drove us to the Lockwood estate for the pageant. Bonnie went upstairs to help Elena and Caroline with their dresses and wish them luck.
I noticed Stefan leaving and a compelled girl following. I snorted a little and called Jason. "The vervain that's been dumped into the water not enough. Increase it ten fold, dump ten gallons in today and every week starting now."
Jason confirmed. "Alright, our stock is growing at an exponential rate I'll see to it personally."
I headed upstairs and passed Damon on the way. "Your brother just left with a compelled pageant contestant. After the pageants over you either deal with him or I will."
He looked apprehensive. "I'll deal with it. I'll vervain him and stick him in the cellar until he's off the human stuff and back on bunny blood."
He went downstairs and I headed towards Bonnie. I found her tying up Caroline's dress. As soon as she saw me she spoke. "Almost done here, how are things downstairs?"
I sighed. "Stefan's not going to be there, Damon's taking his place as Elena's escort. I saw Tyler and Jeremy sneaking of to drink. Otherwise their almost ready and waiting."
She nodded and finished tying the back of Caroline's dress then turned to help Elena, who started asking questions. "Why isn't Stefan going to make it?"
I snorted. "He just left the party with a pageant girl who was compelled and I think he's planning on feeding on her. Don't worry, I'll stop him if need be but he's in no condition to attend anymore."
She was disappointed and a little sad so I elaborated. "I warned Damon and he said he'll take care of it after the party don't worry."
Elena asked. "Can't you stop him?"
I shook my head. "I did my part by warning Damon. If I step in before he has a chance to act I'll be breaking my word."
Bonnie spoke up. "Let it go Elena. He's from a time when your word meant more than most anything else. Like and oath or bond."
I smiled and walked up to Bonnie and hugged her from behind while she continued to help Elena. "You were listening, here I thought you'd fallen asleep on me."
She laughed. "I wasn't asleep I was resting my eyes is all."
I chuckled. "And the drool that was left on my arm?"
She raised an eyebrow. "Must've been there before I laid on it."
I let out a hearty laugh. "Must have."
Caroline and Elena were smiling and Bonnie was pouring so I kissed her. We were interrupted by Carol Lockwood. "We're almost ready downstairs. Five minutes and we start."
I waited for her to leave then began to blur. I moved around the room helping Caroline and Elena into shoes and putting on jewelry. When I stopped next to Bonnie I asked. "So what do you think?"
She nodded. "They're ready, let's head downstairs and wait."
I held out my arm and escorted her down. When it started, true to my word Damon was in Stefan's place. After the first dance of the pageant contestants, I asked Bonnie. "Would you honor me with a dance?"
Bonnie's smiled. "I'd be honored to."
We danced the waltz and ballroom for a while. The night died down and the pageant winner was announced by Carol. "The new miss mystic falls is....Caroline Forbes."
We clapped and congratulated her before heading back home. The next day it was stormy out.
Seeing that it would rain I asked Bonnie. "Would you like to learn a few pieces of magic every decent witch knows today?"
Bonnie looked intrigued. "Sure, what are they?"
I smiled. "We're going to my house to show you."
I drove us there explaining on the way. "The first one I'm going to teach you is channeling others. When a witch pulls too much energy from themselves it results in a physical warning. Light ones are nose bleeds and the more heavy ones can result in brain trauma, and bleeding from the eyes and ears. More experienced witches draw from nature, like the elements-"
She spoke up. "Or a comet!"
I nodded. "Celestial events work as well. The even more experienced ones make talismans to help them at all times. Your necklace being one."
I stopped talking for a second to let her maul that over then I continued. "When a group of witches gather, they can channel each other. They usually use personal items to make a temporary link to the other witches, these items are often called totems. A representation of a witch by items they themselves own or created. Today I'm going to show you how to channel others, in this case me. I'm going to give you an item I have had on me since I was very young and your going to channel me through it."
We arrived after my little speech and got out. I led her to the yard. "One of the reasons I'm teaching you this today is because of the weather. When a witch channels a certain amount of power, it creates a disturbance like a breeze. When you channel me however, it'll be like a force of nature. I want you to remember my lessons on meditation and focusing your mind, they'll help you in staying calm."
She commented. "Like the eye of a hurricane?"
I chuckled. "You don't know how right you are."
I did something right there before her, I took off my bracelet. I hadn't removed it since Ayana made it for me and put it on me herself. Instantly I felt where my twin was, I knew exactly where and what happened to her and I felt all the pain she'd experienced over all that time. It drove me to my knees.
Bonnie kneeled down asking if I was ok and what happened but for the longest time I couldn't answer. After what seemed like eternity the pain subsided and I started breathing again. I stood up and helped her up.
"I'm sorry about that, I should've expected it to happen. I haven't taken it off since I was five years old and Ayana put it on me. She warned me there'd be a price for wearing it, how right she was."
Bonnie's worry drove those thoughts to the back of my mind. "Don't worry, I'll be fine. Though I'll never put it back on so its a moot point now."
I handed her the bracelet and she asked. "I'd it safe?"
I nodded. "It's fine, the only spell on it works to stop me from feeling my twins pain. You see when we were children, we were inseparable. We were linked, we could tell where the other was all the way across the village and if we concentrated, we'd even be able to tell what the other was doing. As we grew older the bond grew stronger. By the age of five we could feel each other's pain. It was even more pronounced in me. She fell and scrapped her knee and mine was bloody from it. Ayana saw the drawbacks and decided since I was slated to be a warrior it would not do to have me doubly injured in battle or worse. She made the bracelet and warned me never to take it off. This is the first time I've ever done so."
Bonnie looked apprehensive. "Why did it hurt you?"
I smiled. "Imagine it was a damn and I blocked out all the pain both physical and mental for a thousand years. Now imagine removing the damn."
She held a hand over her mouth and looked horrified at what I'd just done. I grabbed her hand and put the bracelet in it. "My sister is alive, that's a secret some would kill to protect. I swore a long time ago that I'd kill the one my mother sold her to. Another secret, one that would see me dead right now if it ever got out."
I kissed her and sighed when she hesitated. After a moment she kissed me back with a desperate passion. When we pulled apart it spoke. "It's time. Use the bracelet to feel it's link to me."
She smiled and tried it. After a moment the wind around us picked up and she spoke. "I can feel it, it's like dark abyss of power and there are lights in there. It's like I'm looking at the night sky."
I smiled. "Good. The abyss is me, the lights are my talismans that are connected to me. Use your mind to draw in a small stream of the power you feel. It should come to you easily."
She did so and the wind started raging. She spoke up. "It's wonderful it's like a force of nature."
After a while she opened her eyes and noticed she was floating in the eye of a mini tornado she stopped channeling and fell. I caught her in my arms. "So, how was your first time channeling me?"
She smiled. "It was nearly orgasmic."
I burst out laughing. "That love, is the first time I've ever heard that description of channeling someone. But I suppose my magic would have its own feel to you specifically."
She smiled. "Teach me something else!"
I chuckled. "In a bit love. Once you completely let the power go you'll feel a bit drained. Let's get you inside before it starts raining."
She smiled and I felt her let the power go. I sighed as she passed out. I carried her inside and laid her on my bed. After covering her up I went outside and noticed Jason waiting. "I'd something wrong?"
He shook his head. "Some of our people that were dumping the vervain were arrested by a uninformed police officer. I handled it and talked to the sheriff. She said she'd take care of it and thanked me for protecting this town. I told her we were dumping considerably more each week just to be sure and she looked happy. She told her people we were allowed access and let her v5 officers escort us to dump it. She arranged for police escort each week from now on."
I nodded. "Have a message chair and an assortment of scented candles sent to my room with message oils. Make sure not to wake Bonnie up when they do it. Then have my wing cleared out for privacy and light the sage in the occupied rooms."
He nodded and sent my orders. I went to my personal bathroom and grabbed a hot shower. When I finished I wrapped a towel around myself and headed into my anointing room. The first thing I noticed was that Bonnie was awake. And looking around in curiosity. My room was covered in pumpkin spice scented candles and a message table was laid out and ready.
I walked over to her and took her hand. I led her to the table and told her. "Strip down and I'll give you a message. I'll even do a bit of sexual magic to release some tension for you. Then when you've recovered from that I'll teach you the second magic technique today."
She smiled and pulled of her shirt. I stared helping her lose the clothes. She blushed a little when she was standing in just her underwear.
I chuckled. "That's enough for now, we don't want to get to carried away before the message."
She raised a challenging eyebrow and took those off as well. I snorted and dropped my towel without a seconds thought. " You'll find challenging me to be embarrassed a little difficult. Now up on the table before we end up in bed instead."
She bit her lips and asked. "Would that be so bad?"
I shook my head. "No, but then you wouldn't get to experience your first bout of sex magic. And I really want to help you with it."
She laughed and sat down on the table. I waved her on. "Go on, lay down, face down first. Trust me, you'll enjoy this."
She did so and I laid a hot towel over her backside before pouring some heated message oil in my hands. I did the wordless chant of a spell I'd found in India. It produced an aphrodisiac like affect with an intense orgasmic ending while heightening the senses of the reciprocate. The oil let off a light glow signifying the spells completion.
I started messaging her shoulders and neck first. She started feeling the affects and made her pleasure more vocal. I worked out all the kinks and stiff muscles along her back and as I got lower her breathing got heavier and more needy. I removed the towel and started messaging her bottom.
There was a throaty deep moan from her and I knew she'd found her first release of the day. I continued to work as she spasmed and occasionally slid my hand between her legs heightening the pleasure. After ten minutes or so she started to come down. I told her. "That's just the beginning love, we have a ways to go before you experience the full effects of this little spell. Do be sure to enjoy it all."
I continued down towards her legs and eventually her feet. As I messaged the soles of her feet she hit another orgasm and this one lasted five minutes longer than the last.
I chuckled and continued. When she came down again I told her. "It's time to turn over love, I've got to start on your front side now."
She shuddered at my meaning and I helped her turn over. She looked at me and asked. "Is it always this good?"
I chuckled and shook my head. "Not with others no. My spells are meant with me in mind. This is one I found in India and altered a little. You see the original would of had us sharing your pleasure instead."
She pouted. "Well that's not fair! Why'd you change it?"
I chuckled. "This one uses my senses to heighten yours and increase the pleasure many fold. It also lasts longer and makes the final orgasm mind blowing."
She went quiet before saying. "Oh."
I nodded. "While I don't share the experience, it really doesn't matter to me as much as ensuring yours is better. Besides, I experience enough pleasure from you everyday. I can afford to give you this experience."
She smiled and leaned up. I met her half way for a kiss. She shivered from it and I grinned. "What your feeling right now, I feel all the time. Every touch, every kiss. It's a level of intensity all it's own."
She sighed. "If this is what you feel all the time then I don't know how you can stand it and stay sane."
I chuckled. "Centuries of practice and discipline. The intensity you feel in pleasure right now is what all newborns feel with all their emotions all the time. It's why I'm so understanding of their problems and forgive them so easily."
She nodded and I continued the massage starting with her feet and working upwards. When I got to her thighs she had the most intense orgasm yet. I held her through it and almost twenty minutes later as she was coming down I started massaging again
Her shuddering increased as my hands brought her higher. I slid two fingers through her lower lips and she screamed her orgasm out and clenched her thighs. She squirted a little as spasms rocked her once more. I continued to tease and rub her most sensitive bud and passed my fingers in and out of her channel ringing out more cries of pleasure.
She grabbed my arm and squeezed holding on for dear life. Smiling, I pulled my wet finger out from betwixt her thighs and showed her the glistening evidence of her arousal. She shudder as I licked my fingers. The cocoa message oil and her unique flavor pervaded my taste buds.
I grinned as I finished licking my fingers. "I could get addicted to your taste."
She shuddered again and held on to my arm as more violent spasms rocked her. After nearly an hour, she finally came down and I continued the message. I worked her hips and stomach muscles before moving to her breasts. When I did, I helped her sit up and pulled her to the edge of the table. "Now for the big finish love, try to stay conscious as long as possible, it'll be really intense."
She asked. "What will?"
I grinned and guided myself between her legs and into her. Her eyes went wide then heavy lidded as she felt me. She wrapped her legs around my waist and I entered her fully now. She was already starting to spasm around me. I carried her to the bed and laid her down gently, while moving slowly in and out.
She met my pace so I increased it with each thrust. My own senses were now on one thing. I found myself thrusting as fast as her body could handle it. She cried out and shuddered not long after. After a few more thrusts I joined her.
Her legs tightened around my waist and my arms grabbed the metal headboard. As the spasms of pleasure rocked us both the metal railing bent under my hands. Titanium wasn't strong enough to last through the pleasure she gave me, so the cast iron headboard stood no chance.
After more than an hour we finally came down. The magic wore off after it was over and I disengaged myself from her and rolled off her panting. She was no better herself. Her eyes were nearly closed and she was taking ragged breaths as well.
When she came to her own mind again she rolled onto me and asked. "Was it always like that for you?"
I shook my head. "The magic that fuels it comes from us both. It feeds from our auras and our compatibility with each other. Once I entered you it completed the circle and the fuel was ignited. I've been with my fair share of witches over the years and only Bennet witches made me feel even a fraction of that. Emily herself was the closest to it and it only compared to about your third orgasm. This, this was something else entirely. I've never felt something on this level."
I sincerely meant it too. I was truly shocked at how strong it was. She smiled and laid on my chest as we both dozed off. Several hours later I was awoken by Jason knocking on the door. "Sir, you wanted to be notified of when it started to rain. It has."
Blinking, I wiped away the sleep in my eyes and smiled as Bonnie did the same. I sat up with her and said. "You wanted to learn a new piece of magic, bows your chance to. Wrap a towel around yourself and let's head outside. Don't worry about the staff. They're in another wing of the manor for today. It's only Jason and he'll be leaving here to handle some business for me in a minute."
She did so and followed me out. As I opened the door I told him. "I've texted you a list of places to buy and things to procure after you've passed that on there's something I want you to do. There's a folder on my desk that needs you to personally deal with. Then see to it the families are safely moved and given fifty million apiece from the accounts. Move all the rest of the money into my main account except for the one that's used for the Bennet family and the other."
He nodded and left with his instructions. Bonnie came up behind me wrapped in a towel. "What was that about?"
I sighed. "Major events are about to unfold and I'm having all my staffs families laid off and moved far away. Their being paid generously and will be provided for for centuries to come. He's buying the grill and a few other buildings around town like the Gilbert clinic and apothecary as well. Then he's moving my money into one account for a single purpose. Soon I'll make a legal will with you as the sole beneficiary."
She looked frightened but I shook my head. "Relax, it's just a precaution in case the worst comes to pass. I want you to be taken care of if my plans fail."
She finally gave in. "Fine, but I want you to promise me you'll do everything in your power to stay alive."
I chuckled and kissed her. "I promise. Now let's go teach you some magic."
I led her to the front porch. It was a warm rain so that was nice at least. I turned to her and dropped my towel. "We're going to stand in the rain and do a spell that lets you see the aura and true nature of something or someone. The spell is 'astrorum corpore visus est'. Roughly translated it means astral body true sight. I found it in an old Roman tomb with a hoard of treasure and quite a few dark artifacts. It's quite useful in telling if someone is lying or seeing possessed people. If you get good enough with it you won't need the rain to magnify the aura."
She repeated the spell a few times and followed me into the rain. After we did the chant, I waited for her to open her eyes. When she did she looked shocked and amazed. I asked. "What is it you see?"
She smiled. "It's amazing there are all these colors and it's like your a walking star. So bright. There are three colors that shine the most. Green, purple and red. There are little black spots that float around you as well."
I nodded. "The colors are my personality and the black spots are the secrets I keep from you. As I tell you them, you'll see them go away."
She nodded. "What do the colors mean?"
I smiled. "The green is my connection to magic, meaning nature. So much of it means I'm a witch. The red is my warrior side connected to my vampire nature. The purple signifies my dignity and personality. Something like a royal purple. Make sense?"
She nodded and I continued. "Now watch the bigger black spots. There should be four that are bigger than the rest. I'm going to tell you one of them. You see, I've told you about Tatia, the woman I was with when I was human. How she did something that set us at odds before we finally broke up when I found her in the arms of my brother. The thing she did was she gave birth to my child and gave it away. You see, I asked her to marry me when she told me she was pregnant and she refused. I was labeled a freak and cursed since birth and she didn't want any official ties to me so we kept our affair secret. She left not long after and gave birth in secret. Her parents took the child and moved out of the village."
Bonnie was shocked for a moment. "That's not all there is to it is it?"
I shook my head. "Remember how I said my mother promised to giver her first born and every first born of our family to the witch that took my sister? I couldn't allow that life for my child or their eventual children so I cast a spell on the unborn babe before Tatia left. It used my cursed nature as a base and hid their connection to me from all magic users sights. Even if you saw my descendants nowadays with the spell I just taught you, they would look like any other random stranger."
I stopped and took a deep breath. She sighed. "I knew you were old and you might have family when I met you. I guess I sort of assumed it wouldn't come up till later. The black spot has almost disappeared now. It's a lot smaller and sort of greyish instead."
I nodded. "That's because it's not all been said and it's linked to other secrets. It's not time I told anyone the rest. It would make things complicated for me, you and those involved. "
She nodded then smiled with another thought. "Have I met any of them? How many are there?"
I sighed. "Yes you've met one and there aren't that many that still live. Only four that I'm aware of."
She smiled. "Will you tell me who they are?"
I shook my head. "Not unless you really want to know. I trust you to keep my secrets but knowing will only put them and yourself in danger."
She nodded seriously and smiled before giving me a kiss. "Thank you for sharing that with me."
I chuckled. "Any time love. The sight should only last until we're out of the rain so look around and see what you can. The world is a wondrous place."
She laughed and tried it out. I smiled and my heart sped up as the same look of wonder that appeared on her face when she saw the rainbows showed up again. She looked all around and made her excitement known. At the moment she was staring at the forest and pointing out the animals and plants.
I occasionally commented on the poisonous ones and she picked up on it easily enough. She turned and looked at the house and followed a trail of aura to looking down. When she pointed it out I told her. "There's a cavern I built the original manor on that holds all my physical wealth and knowledge. It's protected by thousands of spells and wards I put up over time. It holds many of my plans and items to be used later or in case of emergency. One day when you've mastered the spells in the grimoire I'll take you down there. Until then it's much too dangerous for you. While it wouldn't kill me it could trap me for a century or two if I wasn't careful and I absorb magic."
She sighed and accepted that she wasn't ready to see everything yet. "And the room upstairs the pulsates black?"
I chuckled. "Those are dark artifacts I'm either studying or using as spare magic to fuel my talismans. I'll take you up there another day, just not now."
She crossed her arms. "Why not now?"
I laughed. "Because love, were soaking wet naked and you look far to tempting for me."
She smiled and I pulled her closed. "Let's go get a real shower and see about dealing with that temptation."
We blurred and I set her down in the shower and started the water. Several hours of panting and temptation filled fun later she fell asleep with a smile on my arm. She woke me up and I took her to the grill for lunch. While I got us a table, she headed to the bathroom.
I gave the waiter our orders and waited for her to come out. I saw her teacher Alaric at the bar drinking and talking to Isabel. I sighed and ignored them. I shouldn't interfere and Alaric isn't aware of me as far as I know so it's a moot point.
Just as I was getting bored Bonnie came out. The waiter showed up with our order not long after. The night passed in peaceful bliss for us. The next day she called me while she was at school and asked. "How would you like to help me build a float at school? We can hang out while we work."
I chuckled. "I'll be right there. Do I need to bring anything?"
She went silent for a moment and I heard her speaking to Caroline about what all I should bring. When she talked to me again I knew. "Just yourself and a tool belt."
I smiled. "I'll bring a new trailer as well, the ones you're using are probably old and rusted."
She laughed. "Alright, you're kind of right. Can you bring an extra for the boys float as well?"
I snorted. "You know I can't resist you asking me. I'll be there in thirty with them."
I texted Jason to bring both trucks and trailers around for the floats with a tool belt. Ten minutes later I was following him to the school in a truck apiece. We pulled around to the basketball court where they made room.
I hopped out and tossed the keys to Alaric. "Consider it a donation to the school, both trucks and trailers are at your disposal. The pink slips can be signed over to you or whomever you want."
He nodded and raised his brows. "And who are you? Cause I don't remember teaching college."
I smiled and Bonnie came over. "He's my boyfriend, I asked him to help out and he decided to make a donation to the school all on his own."
I chuckled when Alaric asked. "How can you afford something like this as a college student both trucks must've run you a pretty penny and both are brand new."
I left it for Bonnie to say as I didn't know what she wanted them to know. She spoke up anyway. "He's rich, like Bill Gates rich."
I chuckled and held out my phone. "I can actually call Bill up if you want. He's been trying to set a meeting lately but I'd rather spend my time with Bonnie then in a stuffy board room."
Tyler spoke up from the side. "Damn, that's rich."
I shrugged and took Bonnie's hand and went over to hang out with Caroline. Matt was busy trying to salvage the old floats instead of working on the new ones. I started building a gone with the wind themed float off their specs while Jason got a ride back to the manor.
I spent the day working and watching Bonnie paint. It was actually pretty fun until Isobel showed up. I ignored It until she had her friend jump on the old float Matt was fixing and pinned his arm. I ran over and lifted it of him in Stefan's place. When I did I heard Isobel comment. "Whose the vampire the witch is dating? He seems strong and he's got a dangerous vibe to him."
Elena answered. "Not someone you want to mess with. He's old, from what I heard he's older than America."
Isobel snorted. "Then so long as I don't pester the witch he shouldn't act. Oh my, he saved poor Matt, but what about your brother?"
I continued to ignore them while helping Matt out. His arm was broken and bleeding a little. Tyler called the paramedics and helped him up before Caroline decided to take them to the hospital as it would be faster. I headed back over to Bonnie's side and continued to help her fix up the float. If Elena wants help she'll ask for it.
A little later I found myself in a classroom with Bonnie, Stefan, Elena and Alaric. Alaric asked. "Are you sure he should be here?"
I looked to Bonnie and when I saw her nod I drained a little power and summoned a ball of fire in my hand that gave off extreme heat then I let my face change and grabbed the wannabe vampire hunter by the throat and lifted him off his feet.
When he was freaked out enough Bonnie smirked. "Enough."
I dropped him and released the spell. Bonnie smilingly told the teacher. "In this town he's the strongest being around. I'd avoid pissing him off or me."
I chuckled and stood beside her. "Am I qualified to be here now?"
Alaric coughed. "Yeah sure, did you have to squeeze so hard?"
I smiled and Bonnie waved her hand, I felt her channel magic into a spell. I white light hit the teacher and he stood straighter. I turned to Bonnie. "You've been practicing your healing magic."
She nodded and the conversations diverged into what Isobel wanted. I sighed. "Tell Damon I said to give the toy to John, it's why I gave it to him after all."
Elena spoke up. "It's a weapon that hurts vampires. "
I snorted. "It won't affect me and as for tweedle dee and Stefan..."
I walked over to Stefan and smacked both ears at the same time. Blood rushed out but I ignored it as I channeled my spell. Stefan was screaming and grabbing my arms. Elena was behind me telling me to stop. Bonnie was watching from the side. She could tell I was doing something but not what. Alaric looked apprehensive and was holding a stake. When I released Stefan he slumped to the floor and I sighed. "The device won't effect him anymore it's a one time use spell, I'll do it to Damon as well before the device is used now tell Damon to be a good boy and give it to John or I might turn his brain to mush instead."
Alaric asked. "What's the point then?"
I chuckled. "John thinks there are tomb vampires running about, they're not. When he activates the device and it does nothing he'll look the fool and leave town. Isobel I imagine is only in town to retrieve the device from Elena. Like my spell, the device will only work once and can't be used again. There's not point in fighting them when we lose nothing either way."
They settled on my plan and called Damon. He showed up not long after and received the same treatment as Stefan. He gave the device to Elena and I took Bonnie home. The next day Bonnie and I finished the float and watched the parade roll through town.
We spent the day as if it was a long date. Towards the end the mayor gave his speech and I sat back on a bench holding Bonnie as the fireworks went off in the sky. Just as I thought John had failed, I heard the screaming of what sounded like a banshee as the magic of Emily's device washed around me. I tuned it out by activating a small sound barrier around myself and Bonnie.
I watched on as my magic took effect on Stefan and Damon. They looked towards me and I smiled and waved. I turned to see a commotion by the stage. Bonnie looked up at me. "The mayor was a vampire?"
I shook my head. "Werewolf, though he didn't activate the curse. Must have been on a frequency he could hear."
She smacked my arm. "Why didn't you tell me?"
I shrugged. "It wasn't really a secret I guess it didn't come up. I told you of the wolves that killed Henrik. I guess I should've told you then. To activate their curse you have to be born with the gene and kill someone. There were more werewolves back in the day as tribes would go to war. But since killing was outlawed mostly all around the world very few werewolves actually activate the curse now."
She nodded and sat back in my arms. We watched the end of the fireworks show and when I smelled fire I knew the mayor was toast. We got a call later that Caroline was in the hospital so we headed there.
Tyler was apologizing to Matt for wrecking the car and telling Bonnie all about it. Elena came over and asked what we could do about it. Bonnie answered. "I can't yet,-"
Damon snorted from the side. "That kind of spell took Emily years before she could perform it."
I chuckled. "I could but that kind of power would blow the transformers around the block and a lot of patients at the hospital on life support or with pace makers would die. I suggest we go with a safer option."
Elena asked. "What safe option?"
Damon spoke up. "Vampire blood. You want one of us to heal her."
Bonnie turned to me. "Are you sure it's safe?"
I shrugged. "As long as she doesn't die with it in her system it's safe. This time tomorrow it'll be out of her system and she'll be good as new."
Elena asked. "Whose blood are we using?"
Damon volunteered. "I'll do it. I owe her anyway, besides, we don't know if grandpa here's blood is any good anyway."
I smiled a non smile. "Call me that again and I'll rip your tongue from your skull."
I turned to the girls. "It's your call, It doesn't matter to me."
Elena spoke up. "Let Damon do it, he's right, he does owe her."
Bonnie shrugged. "Suit yourself, I like my boyfriend whole and accounted for anyway."
Damon went off to do his part. I turned to Bonnie. "She'll be fine now. Let's head to the house and get some rest. We can stop by in the morning and ease your worry."
She looked reluctant but nodded. I drove us home and took her to bed. The next morning I took her straight to the hospital. She talked to Matt while I waited by her side. When she followed him inside to see Caroline I trailed along.
I gave Caroline my congratulations on recovering and held Bonnie while she she'd a few tears. When we left an hour later I drove us to the grill. When we walked inside I asked her. "How would you like to own this place?"
She frowned a little. "You mean own the grill?"
I nodded. "I told you the other day I was buying it? Well the paperwork went through this morning. I officially bought it, do you want it?"
She shook her head. "No thanks. But I'd like to make some changes if you'll let me."
I smiled. "Anything, just a second though."
I went into the back and met the manager. After telling her who I was she followed me out to where Bonnie was waiting. "Bonnie this is Diana, the manager. Diana, this is Bonnie. She has some changes she'd like to make. Give her whatever she wants, I'll pay for whatever remodeling needed."
Bonnie left with her to get her ideas out and I sat down at the bar and ordered a beer. After an hour or so they both came out smiling. "I take it your happy?"
Bonnie nodded. "There's going to be some slight changes but we both like them."
I smiled and turned to Diana. "I'll send my butler later today to help you with whatever needs done. He'll pay for the remodeling then, I have contract workers on pay so I'm sure whatever it is will be done fast."
I turned to Bonnie. "Let's grab a table and get breakfast."
She grabbed my hand and led the way. When we sat down I asked. "So what were the changes you wanted?"
She smiled. "Mostly for the girls bathroom but I mentioned expanding the place for a bigger crowd and more pool tables."
I smiled and made small talk for a bit before we left and headed home. We changed and headed to the Lockwood's for the wake. We met Tyler at the door and I gave my condolences to him with Bonnie. He pulled me to the side. "I don't know if you heard but Matt's mom left town with all the cash he won. I was hoping you would be willing to play him in pool again. I know you were letting us cheat and win. I don't know why but I know he needs it now."
I sighed. "I let you get away with it because it meant more to you than it did me. I just enjoyed the games to pass the time. As for playing him again, I can't, he broke his arm remember."
He looked gut punched so I sighed and told him. "Tell you what, if he needs the money that bad tell him to get a job at the grill. I just bought the place and I'm having it expanded so they'll need more hands. I'll handle his pay personally, and Tyler?"
He looked directly at me. "He doesn't hear about this talk, clear?"
He nodded and I pulled out a bottle of red label LOUIS XIII from my jacket. "Go get hammered. This is a time for mourning and saying goodbye to the dead, but it's also a time of remembrance. Use it how you see fit but don't say where you got it from alright? I'd hate to get arrested at a wake, that's tacky."
He snorted then took the bottle and disappeared. Bonnie came over. "I heard what you said, and you did good there."
I nodded and she asked. "Why have Matt work at the grill though?"
I sighed. "Better where I can keep an eye on him and keep any unwanted guests from hurting him than somewhere I stand out like a sore thumb besides, he'll only work as much as you want him to and I'll pay him what my staff gets paid."
She nodded. "Sometimes I wonder if you're to good to be true."
I snorted. "I'm just a man, Bonnie. I wonder that every second about you though."
She smiled. "Let's go see what Damon's up to. I saw him pass us while I was waiting."
I nodded and followed her inside. She walked up behind Damon and asked. "Did you know the Gilbert device effected Tyler Lockwood?"
Damon looked back and saw her then looked to me before answering. "Well, I know it took the mayor down."
Bonnie asked. "Don't you want to know why?"
Damon turned around and faced her fully. "Yes Bonnie I would love to know why a non- vampire was tortured by the vampire torture device."
I walked up beside him grabbed him by the back of his neck. "You'll loose the snark when you talk to her or I'll give you an attitude adjustment that'll last far longer than the last one."
I released him and waited. He looked to Bonnie. "Sorry about that, I've some issues of my own I'm working out."
She smiled and nodded. "Well the answer to your question is werewolf."
Damon's eyebrows shot up. "Are you telling me werewolves actually exist?"
I nodded. "They're rare enough now a days because most don't turn anymore. To trigger the curse you gotta kill someone and since there are laws against that..."
He snorted. "Great, what's next, zombies?"
I held up a finger. "Well actually, funny story-"
Damon bit out. "You are not actually going to tell me zombies exist."
I smiled. "Fine, I won't tell you then."
Bonnie led me away before Damon had a mental breakdown. "So do zombies exist?"
I nodded. "It's a necromancy thing. You'll learn about that later. I don't advise making them though. Hard to kill, only destroying the entire corpse works or they'll come back to bite you in the ass. In my case, literally. Damn thing took a chuck out of me before I burned it alive. Healed up fine though so no biggie."
She snorted. "Your impossible."
I nodded. "I can be, let's go see what Elena's up to, I just saw her on the porch."
Bonnie nodded and we went to see her. After a few seconds I knew it was Katherine but I waited for Bonnie to figure it out. When she finally touched her she told her. "We've got to pay our respects to Tyler, see you."
She took my hand and led me to an empty room before making a call. After she hung up with the real Elena she spoke to me. "That's not Elena out there."
I nodded and turned around. "Hello Katherine, Isobel mentioned you were the one making moves in the dark."
Bonnie walked up beside me and took my hand. I gave her a comforting squeeze and turned back to face Katherine who spoke. "You must be Elena's friends. Bonnie the witch and Alex the vampire boyfriend older than America?"
I nodded. "Older than you actually. We actually met once before but I won't bore you with the details."
I moved faster than she could react and grabbed her by the throat squeezing it. "Let's be clear on one thing. While your here, your a guest in my territory. Now I was nice enough to let Pearl leave in peace but if you so much as harm a hair on Bonnie's head I'll toss you in a room where time itself has no meaning and your immortality will truly be a curse as it would make the emptiness unending. Do I make myself clear?"
She choked out. "Yes."
I released her. "I don't care what your game is if she's harmed even a little, I'll keep my word. The lightest punishment you'd receive is the tomb where you should've been."
Bonnie walked up beside me again and I held out my hand. "Sorry if I scared you love, I just had to teach her some manners."
Bonnie smiled. "Don't worry about it. Let's go see if Elena's showed up yet she said she was on the way."
I nodded and followed her out of the room. Stefan walked passed us towards Katherine but ignored it.
We found the real Elena on the porch. I turned to Bonnie. "You to talk, me and Jeremy will go see what Tyler's up to. Don't worry I'll be listening for any trouble. I'll know if she steps within the same room as you."
She nodded and they went off to talk. I showed Jeremy the way to Tyler. We found him in his dads old office. Tyler passed him a glass then offered me one. "To mayor Lockwood. You know, I never actually got his name."
Tyler snorted. "That's because he was a dick."
I shrugged. "He was nice enough when I gave him money to burn the bridge."
He shook his head. "That's business. If you were donating money he'd kiss your ass but in person he was a dick."
I smiled and held up my glass. "To the dick who let me burn a bridge down."
Tyler and Jeremy chuckled together. "Here here."
We drank for a minute until Mason showed. He came in and I told him. "Grab a glass."
He snorted. "Your getting my nephew drunk at his fathers wake?"
I shrugged. "Seemed like there's no better time to drink. Besides, it's not like it's going to hurt. Sit have a drink and remember the dead. Then celebrate with those still alive."
He couldn't find a flaw in that so he grabbed a glass. After finishing mine I turned to Jeremy. "Finish up, I'm sure your aunts looking for you and it looks like these two need a chat alone."
I set down my glass and held out a hand to Mason. "Alexander, it was good meeting you."
He took it. "Mason. Same to you too."
I nodded. "If you need anything just say the word and I'll do what I can."
He nodded and I left with Jeremy. I passed him off to Jenna and went to find Bonnie. She was conveniently on the front porch sitting down. I sat down beside her. "You ready to leave this thing?"
She nodded. "Elena went o find Stefan with Damon."
I nodded. "Tell you what, why don't you drive. Take us anywhere you want to be. Don't worry about speeding tickets or being back in time for school tomorrow. I'll take care of that."
She smiled. "Really?"
I chuckled. "Really really."
We hopped in the Porsche 911 and she drove and drove for hours. I couldn't tell where we were headed but she could. Eventually we arrived at a little cabin by the lake. "Elena's parents used to invite us out here every summer. We'd swim and have fun without a care in the world."
I nodded and got out. "Then let's go for a swim."
She asked. "We didn't bring any swim clothes!"
I chuckled. "We're alone, why wear clothes at all? Don't worry, if someone comes I'll move us so fast they won't be able to see us."
She smiled. "Fine but if I get bit by a fish I'm blaming you!"
I shackled and stripped naked, tossing my clothes on the hood of the car. She followed suit. I raced her to the water and dived in. I must've scared the fish away because I felt them fleeing with my senses.
When she filled me in I dove under and waited. When she surfaced I came up from below her and slid my hands along her legs until she swatted them away. I heard her scream and I surfaced laughing. She splashed some water in my face saying. "Don't do that!"
I chuckled before swimming up in front of her and giving her a kiss. "As you wish."
I swam to the shallower water and she followed. When we got to where I could stand I pulled her towards me and asked. "Have you ever wanted to have sex in water?"
She looked thoughtful so I pulled her legs up around me and entered her. She gasped and I smiled. "Shall we make some waves love?"
She laughed and slapped my chest before gasping at the motion it created. Her legs tightened around my waist and for a while I let nature do the motions. I felt the sexual energy charge up and grasped it before releasing it into the surrounding water causing more rhythmic motions and sending it into a continuous loop.
After awhile Bonnie must've felt it as well because she tapped into it and created her own loop. The water became really choppy and the waves seemed to mimic the pleasure building in us both. When the final moment came half the water receded in the lake before crashing down and destroying the doc.
Bonnie was holding onto me for dear life and my body was taunt like a steel cable. We went crashing over the edge in an orgasmic wave of our own. When the water calmed I carried us out and let her down on her shaky legs.
She kept saying. "Wow."
I chuckled and pointed to the dock. "Which of us is telling Elena we destroyed that in a fit of sexual magic that literally rocked our worlds."
She laughed and giggled. "Not it!"
I chuckled. "Damn, do you think they'd notice?"
She slapped my chest and leaned on me. "Let get our clothes on."
I smiled. "Hold on. Take my hand and channel me to call a warm wind to dry us."
She did and called a little to much as it blew our clothes everywhere and nearly created the first land based hurricane. When I calmed her down and canceled the magic it took me awhile to find out stuff.
She looked mortified but I busted laughed it off. "Live and learn. Hey at least you got us dry."
She nodded. "I don't know what it is, but every time I channel you I get this urge for more."
I nodded in understanding. "I feel the same when I channeled some of your power the first time. It was addictive, I just didn't show it because I've had a lot longer to learn control. Your the second most powerful witch I've ever met. The first being my enemy. I know of three others that exceed your power and two of those are long dead."
She asked. "Who?"
I smiled. "One was an ancestor of yours by the name of Qetsiyah. I've only heard rumors about her but she was scary powerful and talented. She created the original immortality spell that my mother bastardized into what made me and my siblings vampires. Scary huh?"
She nodded. "And the other two?"
I chuckled. "Another rumor that a crazy powerful witch went psychotic and cursed the tribes around her into the first werewolves before they killed her. Even then she was so powerful the ancestors of some local witches of New Orleans trapped her soul and built totems of power over her cage where they now reside. They call it the ancestral plane now."
She nodded. "And the last?"
I chuckled. "My twin sister."
Her eyebrows shot up. "She's that powerful?"
I nodded. "Yeah. All first born children in my family are. Though soon enough you'll be her equal or stronger if I have my way. You see, I have a plan of sorts. Since I've met you I've had to alter it to fit the two of us but no big. After you complete your magic studies I'm going to drain all my magic objects and a few I know the location of and create some very powerful talismans. Each on will make the one your wearing seem like a trinket. Then later on, well. Let's leave the future till it's the present, I want there to be some surprise."
She nodded. "What were you talking about when you told Kathrine of a room where time had no meaning?"
I chuckled. "I sort of built my own pandorica but it's sort of reversed. A second outside is eternity inside. To a witch they could break it in a mere wave of magic. It's really fragile like that, but to a vampire who can't do magic? It'd be literal hell and lead only to insanity. I spent an hour of outside time inside and I got to say I'd rather be permanently killed."
She frowned worried. "Why would you create something like that?"
I shrugged. "I was experimenting with time magic and got bored. Me and boredom don't get along well, ask Damon. He hung out with me one day while you were at school and I got him drunk and burned down a bridge."
She raised an eyebrow. "Really?"
I nodded. "Really really. Now let's get something to eat."
She drove us to a White Castle and I ordered fifty of there sliders. She looked at me like I was crazy and I explained. "I haven't fed in a few days. I usually do it once a day but we've had an exciting week and I've been busy. The food will help with the cravings and I'll grab a bag when we head back tonight."
She nodded and offered her wrist. I smiled. "I love that your willing but I'd rather starve then hurt you, even to feed. I couldn't live with myself to cause you even a little pain."
She smiled and kissed me. "But you would if it didn't?"
I grinned. "In a heartbeat, and if your offering, I know a few spells that turn pain into pleasure for sexual experiences only. It would be orgasmic for the both of us."
She snorted. "Any more orgasms and I'm going to short circuit."
I chuckled. "I'm glad I'm at least doing my boyfriend role good."
She grinned herself now. "Oh, honey, you do everything good."
I growled. "That's it we're getting a hotel room, or I'm going to take you in this restaurant."
She smiled. "It's a bit crowded for my taste. I'm not exactly into giving a show."
I blurred and our meals were in bags in a second flat. I grabbed her and through her over my shoulder causing her to laugh as I carried her and the food to the car. I set her down and drove to the nearest five star hotel like a bat out of hell.
I parked in the entrance and tossed the valet my keys before grabbing he door for Bonnie. When she got out I grabbed the food and told the valet to keep the car. He looked excited and then skeptical. "It's not stolen is it?"
I snorted. "This is one of my least expensive cars kid. I've got plenty keep it or don't I don't care. Bye."
I pulled Bonnie with me and tossed my I'd and credit card. "Ten grand extra when we leave if your done in two minutes."
I'd never seen a human type so fast when they weren't working for me. I was heading to the penthouse one and a half minutes later. When we were out of eyesight I ran us up the stairs and to the room. Bonnie was laughing all the way. When we were inside I stripped her while she held onto the food.
It was a rather exciting evening that I ended up using said sexual magic to fulfill. When my raging lust subsided and we were both spent we ate White Castle in bed. I used a little borrowed power to reheat them.
When we were full I carried her to the bathroom for a bubble bath. I left her to relax and ran to get the money for the clerk. The bank wasn't far away so it was rather easy to get. Ten minutes later I joined Bonnie in the bath and enjoyed one last round of fun before carrying her to a newly cleaned bed.
She fell asleep in my arms as soon as I laid down with her. The next morning I woke with the sun and gave her a morning surprise. After a bout of lovemaking we grabbed a shower and signed out. I handed the White Castle bag to the same clerk that signed us in.
I chuckled at her disappointed face and Bonnie told her. "He's just messing with you, open it up."
The clerk did and gasped. I'd put a hundred grand in it for the prank, Bonnie's idea and after seeing the clerks face I gotta say, I approve. When she started to say thanks I pointed to Bonnie. "Don't thank me, I did it for her. It was her idea."
She accepted her thanks and told her. "Remember to look inside next time before you judge by appearance. And tell the valet with the new Porsche the same."
We left walking around the block before I teleported us to her house. She changed for school and I headed to my place to shower and change as well. When I was done feeding Bonnie called me and asked. "Would you like to help me set up for a carnival the town's throwing for in the mayors honor?"
I chuckled. "I'll be right there."
I hopped in my Lamborghini Veneno and drove over. I found Bonnie helping Elena set up the stands. "So, where do you need me?"
Bonnie smiled and gave me a kiss. "Right here is good."
I kissed her back. "Then here I shall be."
She turned around in my arms to face Elena. "So what needs done?"
I chuckled as Elena prattled off a list. When she finished kissed Bonnie one more time before turning to Elena and saying. "Oh and I'm sorry about the lake house incident. Bye."
I blurred away laughing as I heard Bonnie yell. "Coward."
I ran around faster than the human I could see fixing all the problems and ticking off the list. Ten minutes later I even fixed the Karaoke machine's fuse problem and stocked up on team Jacob shirts. Done with all the tasks I found Elena checking everything with Bonnie's help.
I walked over and hugged Bonnie from behind and she stomped on my foot. "You left me to explain!"
I chuckled. "Ah, but I told her about it and apologized all in one."
She was blushing and so was Elena at this point. I turned to Elena. "Don't worry I'll send some people up there to fix the doc, maybe make it sturdier Incase of repeat waves."
Elena started coughing and laughing while Bonnie was blushing up a storm. I turned Bonnie to face me and smiled. "Love, I'm going to remember this moment for eternity."
I kissed her forehead then leaned down and captured her lips. When we broke apart I smiled at her dazed expression then turned to Elena. "The tasks you've given me are completed, I even changed out the old fuses in the Karaoke machine for kicks."
She nodded and checked off the last item. "Then we're set. All we need to do is have fun and watch out for any problems."
I nodded and turned my attention to Bonnie. "How about we go see how Caroline's doing then grab a bite to eat for you before coming back to the carnival for some fun and rides?"
She smiled. "Sounds like a plan."
She turned to Elena and asked. "Elena, care to join us? We'll be back before it starts anyway."
I nodded in confirmation. Elena sighed before setting her clipboard down. "Alright, lets go."
I pulled the car around before we shot off to the hospital. When we arrived I got out and held the door open for them. They led the way to Caroline's room. When we walked inside I groaned as I smelled it.
I turned to Bonnie and Elena. "You two wait outside, she's been turned and she's fed on blood. Caroline asked. "What? No I haven't!"
I walked over to her bed and pulled back the cover and there it was, an empty blood bag in her lap. "Explain that then."
Bonnie asked. "How?"
I turned to Caroline. "That's what I'd like to know."
Caroline pointed to Elena. "She did it. She smothered me with a pillow last night."
I rubbed the bridge of my nose and called Stefan. "Get to the hospital, Katherine killed Caroline while she had Damon's blood in her system."
Stefan asked. "Can you get a daylight ring? We need to get her out of there."
I turned to Bonnie and asked. "How would you like to use a spell Ayana and I made together?"
She raised an eyebrow and I sighed. "Daylight ring. A copy of the spell should be in both grimoires. Funny enough the original was in mine but the pages went wonkie when I switched to crystal memory for the grimoire."
She shrugged. "I'll take care of it."
I turned to Caroline and sighed. "I'll take care of Katherine when I see her again. For now Let's deal with this mess."
Stefan arrived and I disappeared and came back with Bonnie. She set down the grimoire and I turned to Stefan. "Close the blinds."
I tossed a ring onto the bed. It was a simple design and a bit old looking. Caroline asked. "I don't even get to choose the ring I get to wear for eternity?"
I snorted. "That is the first ever made daylight ring girl. It may be old but it has real history. It was with me for a thousand years and has seen as many battles as well-"
Bonnie put a hand on my arm and I stopped. I took a deep breathe and sighed while Bonnie said. "If you don't like the ring then find another witch as well."
She could tell I was hurting just parting with it but I did so not for Caroline but for her. After my five hundredth year I took it off once to see if the sun would burn me and when it didn't I'd kept it on as a remembrance to Ayana.
Stefan and Elena's eyes went wide at my words and Caroline's went wide at Bonnie's. Caroline spoke up. "Fine I'll take the stupid old ring."
I growled and left the room because if I'd staid I'd have killed her. I waited outside for cooler heads to prevail. When they came out together, Bonnie came over to me and whispered. "Calm down, your scaring the orderlies. I know she upset you, she upset me too. Remember your rules for new turns."
I sighed and nodded. "Let's go get some food. I'm dying to sink my teeth into something bloody."
She flinched at that and I smiled. "Rare steak is perfect on a day like today."
She smacked my chest and snorted. "Ass."
I kissed her and held hers. "In the palms of my hands."
She smiled and I turned to them. "Grill, my treat. I'll have Jason send what she needs while we eat."
Bonnie asked. "Is it safe?"
I shrugged. "For you? Always. For her? Just a sec."
I walked over to Caroline and looked her in the eyes. "You will not feed on humans, only bagged blood or animals."
After she repeated it I turned back to them. "All good. Although it wouldn't work on Stefan because it's a psychological problem for him, it'll work on most others."
Elena asked. "Even Damon?"
I shrugged. "He'd just snap their necks instead."
Stefan asked. "Can you get him to not harm humans at all?"
I snorted. "That's a bit racist. He'd be fucked if another hunter like your teacher came along and tried staking him. While I don't like those that kill like it's nothing, even the lowest of creatures has a nature given right defend itself."
We headed to the grill while they argued their points and though Bonnie did agree with me Elena finally told me. "Damon killed Jeremy last night."
I stopped the car and turned to her. "Say that again!"
Stefan spoke for her. "Damon snapped Jeremy's neck, although the Gilbert ring brought him back."
I sighed and continued to drive. "I'll punish Damon after I deal with Katherine."
Stefan shuddered a little remembering my last punishment I gave Damon. We arrived at the grill soon after I said that. I texted Jason then ordered my food. By the time the food arrived so had Jason. He came in carrying a small refrigerated cooler.
He passed it off to me and I tossed him the keys to the car. He tossed me the keys to the suv. I turned to Caroline and said. "Why don't you girls go powder your nose is it?"
Bonnie laughed. "It's freshen up. But yeah let's go."
They left to the ladies room to keep a look out while Caroline feeds. I turned to Stefan and sighed. "What exactly went down with my second favorite human?"
He raised his eyebrows. "Second favorite?"
I smiled. "Bonnie's first in everything in my book."
He smiled then sighed and told me what I already knew. I nodded. "I'll drain her dry and toss her in the tomb for her role. Your brother I'll drain and toss at Jeremy's feet. You won't interfere or you'll join him. I'll leave his fate to the one he killed. You should warn the teacher not to overuse his ring as well. It causes madness in the wearers over time. Mortals aren't meant to come back after all."
His brows furrowed and he asked. "How do you know that?"
I snorted. "The Gilbert journals start out fine then they diverge into insanity towards the end. Two and two equal five."
He frowned. "They equal four."
I nodded. "Exactly."
Now he looked worried. I waved it off. "The one you need to worry about right now is the vampire hunting teacher. Warn Jeremy sure, and if you can, have him only wear it in dangerous situations. He should be fine with that for a while at least."
When the girls returned I told Bonnie. "From now on we'll start staying in the witch house. I'll spell the grounds to be impervious to intrusion and Ill intent. When I'm not there to help you, call on the spirits and they'll guide you. But if you meet one called Esther tell her to fuck off."
She nodded and Elena asked. "Whose Esther?"
Bonnie snorted. "A bitch, and his mother."
I nodded. "I'm not her biggest fan and I hope it hurt her severely when my brother killed her. If she's dumb enough to come back I'll do it myself and spit on her corpse as well. Mikael as well if he's dumb enough to return here."
When she looked like she was about to ask I said. "My bastard father that helped her kill me. Now that's enough story time. Stefan, I assume you can watch over Caroline? If you can convince your brother to help, tell him it'll stay my hand a little longer. As for these two I'll take them back to the carnival."
Stefan took off in a blur with Caroline and I drove the girls back to the carnival. I stayed and walked around with Bonnie playing games and riding rides till well into the evening. We came upon the Salvatore brothers watching Tyler arm wrestle.
As soon as I was next to them I asked. "Where's Caroline?"
Damon about jumped out of his skin. "She's with Elena making sure everything is ok with the carnival."
I raised an eyebrow. "I may have stopped her from feeding on humans but I didn't give her anger management classes. One bad temper and she could still kill someone. Or worse expose herself as a vampire and her mother kills her."
Damon smiled. "That would take care of the problem wouldn't it?"
I didn't wait for Stefan to say anything, I snapped Damon's neck and turned to him. "Take him to my suv and tell him to be a lot less of a mouthy ass next time or he'll be punished before Katherine. While your at it check up on Caroline and try to do as I ask. I don't speak to here myself talk."
He blurred and vanished with Damon's body and I turned to Bonnie. "What next?"
She pointed to the Lockwood's arm wrestling. "See if you can beat him?"
I raised an eyebrow. "If I do?"
She smiled. "I'll give you a kiss for every person you beat."
I grinned. "Deal."
I walked over and challenged Mason. "Sorry my friend but my girl just promised me a kiss for everyone I beat."
He smiled. "Bring it."
I put my arm up and grasped his hand. When the bell dinged the back of his hand smacked the table. "Better luck next time friend."
Tyler balked and booed. "Again!"
I shrugged. "Ok but only once more, she promised a kiss per person so move along after this."
I raised my hand again and he grabbed it. I could tell he was using his werewolf strength now. I grinned and the bell rang. The table groaned from the shear power we were using. After a few seconds I spoke. "If that's all you've got.."
"Smack"
The back of his hand hit the table and it broke. I groaned. "Shit!"
I pointed a finger at Mason. "You had better have another table or I'm never going to get those kisses."
He frowned for a second then burst out laughing. "I'll see what I can do."
I grunted while Bonnie came over and kissed me. I kissed her back and when she pulled away I went for another. She put a finger on my lips and said. "Nu uh, one kiss per person you beat."
The people around us heard that and I turned to Mason and scowled. "This is your fault."
He raised his hands in surrender. "Don't look at me, I'm not kissing you."
I scowled more and the people around us laughed. Bonnie took my hand and led me away. We found Elena and Caroline with Stefan just in time for them to here the news about the table. Caroline turned towards me. "This is your fault, fix it!"
I shook my head. "This isn't on me. The damned werewolf was a sore loser. He knew he couldn't win so he swung his hand back with a lot more force than necessary and broke the table. If there wasn't so many damned innocents around I'd have cleaned his clock for ruining a good thing for me."
Caroline broke the pen she was holding and her face changed. She lunged at me and Bonnie put her down with a pain spell before speaking. "He's telling the truth. I saw Masons frown change just before he lost and broke the table."
I texted Jason then told Stefan. "She's not ready to be around people yet. Take her home and teach her. Jason's bringing a new table and this mess will be cleaned up in a bit. Is your brother awake yet?"
He shook his head. I nodded. "Good."
I snapped Caroline's neck then handed her to him. "Take them home, use my car."
I tossed him the keys and turned to Elena. "I'll handle the rest of the carnival. You go ahead."
I turned to Bonnie and she nodded. "I'll stay with you and help manage it."
She took the clipboard and started giving me tasks. I spent the rest of the night until it closed running around fixing things. Not long after it closed Stefan and Elena showed up. I smiled. "I paid the guard for one ride. What say we choose different seats?"
He smiled. "I can live with that."
We took our girls up for a moonlit ride on the Ferris whee and stopped at the top. I kissed Bonnie and as we looked out over the town and the moon hanging over head. When we came down both she and Elena were blushing.
The night ended on a high note for us. The next morning I got invited to the Salvatore house by Damon. "What do you need?"
Damon finally got to the point. "We need information on werewolves and Katherine. You know about both."
I grunted affirmation. "I know a lot about both but seeing as how your on my shit list I'm not exactly feeling charitable."
A few seconds later Stefan was on the phone. I chuckled. "While I like you better, your ruining my time in bed with Bonnie so I'll make it simple. Werewolf bites kill vampires, you get bit your going to hallucinate all the bad shit you've ever done then die in agony."
After a moment and some cursing from Damon, Stefan asked. "And Katherine?"
I snorted. "Do your own damn digging, and if you see her try not to mention me. I'll get to her soon enough and I don't want her aware I'm coming. Now don't call me unless it's an emergency."
I tossed my phone on the night stand and rolled over into my favorite spot, inside Bonnie. She moaned and we continued our morning fun. Half an hour later I growled and picked up the phone say. "Stefan you'd better be dying or you will be."
"Not Stefan."
I grunted. "Figures, so what can I do for you Tyler."
He replied. "My uncle feels bad about ruining your date last night and I do too. I called to see if you want to come party at the swimming hole out by the old Lockwood estate."
I sighed. "Give me an hour and we'll be there. Do you need more drinks?"
He chuckled. "We've got a keg, but if you want something different that's on you to bring."
I laughed and hung up. I turned to lay beside a thoroughly sexed up Bonnie who asked. "Where are we going?"
I chuckled. "A very ironic hell. Stefan called earlier about werewolves and one calls me to invite us to party. At a lake no less."
She laughed a little and I asked. "Shall we go make waves?"
She slapped my chest as I continued to chuckle. We got up a little while later and we gabbed a shower before heading out in swim wear. She drove as she knew the way, while I texted Jason about tomorrow's events. After he confirmed most everything else he told me there was a mix up and Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Flyleaf would be showing up instead.
I sighed and asked about the other task and he confirmed that it had been completed. Several pounds of Kyanite would be in my vault soon enough. Enough to make plenty of rings for the wolves if they want it bad enough.
