They entered inside and they dance floor was crowded as people were already dancing,he took her to a less crowded area.

It was a slow song and he held her by her waist while she wrapped her arm around his shoulder,she danced awkwardly due to their closeness and the fact that she had no idea what to do with her legs.

Come on ,loosen up a bit,he said as he twirled her and brought her closer to himself.

Just feel the music,the dance isn't hard,he said and she breathed lightly before loosening the tightness of her body and she danced freely,now her only problem was how close they were standing.

I never knew you could dance,she initiated a conversation.

There are lot of things you don't know about me,he said and once again twirled her.

He soon chuckled and she raised a brow"someone is giving me a death glare",he said but didn't allow her to talk as he turned her to the direction of Fred as he was dancing with a pretty lady and kept on looking over at them.

That doesn't bother me,she said as they kept on dancing.

He soon brought his face closer to her and whispered"how about a little trip"he said and she nodded enthusiastically before they left.

He took her to a dark corner and held her tightly before disappearing into the night,she opened her eyes to see that they were on a rooftop,there was a candle lit dinner and it was sher favorite dish,she looked at him in shock.

Did you prepare this,she asked this obvious and he hummed lightly.

This is to make up for the date we couldn't go for,he said and she felt emotional.

I've never had a candle lit dinner beforehand,she said.

Now you have ,he replied and took her to her seat,pulling the chair out for her as she sat down,he turned around and sat down,they had dinner and the atmosphere was peaceful and wonderful,they chatted casually and she almost forgot she was originally at a gala.

Thirty minutes had already gone as they were still talking,they had already finished dinner and stood at the end of the rooftop staring at the stars.

The stars are really pretty,don't you think?,she asked casually.

This one is the prettiest,he said and she looked at him to see the star he was talking about.

she turned her head to see him looking at her,she soon may he'd his words with his actions and blushed.

She talks the most and is always ready to fight anyone trying to take her spot,he said.

What I don't talk too much neither do I fight,she said.

I never said you I was taking about that star over there,he said pointing at a random star,she punched him lightly and he held her wrist and pulled her closer to him,at this point everything seemed to stop,all the noise lessened and it was as if there were the only people on earth as they gazed into each other's eyes,he moved closer to her and subconsciously she did the same.

He then said gently "will you be my girlfriend",her mouth quivered and she was speechless but he didn't let her think for much as he soon captured her lips and kissed her gently,she was frozen for a while and didn't move till the kiss became deeper and he opened her lips with his tongue,she responded slowly at first then wrapped her arms around his neck and gave back the same vibe as he did,this continued for a while then he allowed her to catch her breath as her face was beet red,her heart was hammering loudly in her chest and he was no less,he finally confessed to the girl he loved and she responded back when he kissed her,it showed progress.

She was still trying to catch her breath when he finally said "you don't have to give me an answer now,at least I can tell that you feel the same way for me,he said smugly.

Take your time and tell me whenever you have an answer,he said and she nodded shyly before pausing for a while.

Wait a minute,I feel like am forgetting something,she said and waited trying to remember what she forget.

Sh*t,mom must be looking for me,she said and realized they had being out for a while,he also seemed to forget and immediately took her back,true to her words her mom was looking for her.

The gala had not ended but her mom was tired and decided to go home,so she was looking for Alexa.

Alexa where have you being, I've being looking for you,her mom said slight drunk.

I met this cute guy inside,he asked for my number,her mom said happily but the same wasn't said for Alexa.

Mom please..save it for later,she said as Ayden was still around and she didn't want to shout at her mom here.

I'll take her home,she seems to sprout nonsense whenever she is drunk,Alexa said and told anyone good bye before taking her mom home.

She took her mom home and helped her change her cloth before putting her in bed,she soon went up to her own room and took a bubble bath.

she kept on daydreaming while in her bath,she would occasionally giggle and then close her mouth,she took more time in taking her bath than intended,when she got out she was sleepy and fell asleep.

She had a long peaceful sleep and had a beautiful dream,not like the nightmares she usually had,this one was peaceful and about Ayden,she didn't need to go to school tomorrow though it was a school day,she slept peacefully and woke up by 10am the next morning.

The sun was shining on the curtains of her room reflecting the light inside the room,she woke up with a big smile on her face.

she wanted to be sure the day before wasn't a dream.
