Well you could've told me,so we'll have something else,she said and dropped

her ice cream before dragging him out of the park.

As they walked she noticed a small shop that sold snacks,she immediately drooled and dragged him over.

Good evening,she greeted.

Recommend something for me,she added.

We have lots of snacks,which would you like,the shop owner asked and she was silent,as a glutton she couldn't decide on what to eat so Ayden just selected a few snack and paid before the walked ahead,they soon arrived at her house and say outside while she devoured the snacks.

she soon remembered that Ayden was with her.

Oh I've almost finished it,take yours,she said and he laughed gently.

You still want more,he said rather than asking.

you can have it,am not that hungry,he said and she didn't waste time before she continued to eat it making him smile.

There was bit of cream by the side of her mouth and he used his thumb to clean it,she hissed in response and he cocked his brow.

Your hurt,he said as the wound opened and fresh blood flowed from it.

She cleaned it with her hand saying"it's nothing I just bit myself,she lied.

You know I can tell when you lie,he said and she remembered he wasn't human.

Now tell me the truth what happened to you?,he asked and she told him the whole story about the girls and how they called her a boyfriend snatcher saying to stay away from Ayden and the rest.

Ashley,he said slowly.

Yh that's her name,she said as she continued to eat her snacks.

Who is she by the way?,she asked curiously.

She used to be a close friend,he said and she didn't ask any more questions.

They sat there is peaceful silence,she had already finished her snacks and was now staring at the busy road as she laid her head on Ayden.

Have you gone to visit the witch lately,he asked and she shook her head.

Why..you don't want to know more,he asked and she raised her head.

I really to go but lately I haven't found the time and I can't think about going alone,she said.

If you need more answers you have to go alone,she's a grumpy witch she won't let me be with you all the time,he said and she laughed and thought about about it.

How about you stay for dinner,she suggested and he didn't like the idea.

I can't,what do you want me to say to your mom if she asks any questions,he said and she understood but still wanted him to join her.

It's fine,she said.

I'll be going now,your mom will soon be back,he said and pecked her cheek before standing up to go...,this was the second time today he did that and she blushed.

True to his words her mom soon arrived and saw her sitting outside in a daze.

Alexa..,Ale...,her mum said.

Huh,she said rushed as he was caught doing something wrong.

You seem lost this few days,her mom said.

It's nothing,it's just a school...,let's go in,she said and went in with her mom.

She had dinner and went to bed,that night she slept peacefully without nightmare.

The remaining days of the week were the same as,she went to school avoided Fred,and surprisingly Ashley and her friend apologized to her,she didn't need to think twice to know it was cause of Ayden,the week was boring and Ayden wasn't around much as he was summoned by his father the king,and since she had no where to be,she spent her times with her other two friends.

The next week came and Ayden was still no where close to the human realm,she felt down and couldn't do anything about it because the gala was tomorrow and she had to make preparations for her clothing with her mom so she was busy through out.

The next day arrived quickly and Alexa was endowed in her dress and so was her mom,Fred and his mom,they used a limosine to get to their destination,the gala was supposed to start by 7pm but they arrived 8,the place was filled with lots of people and soon her mom left her to go talk with people with whom she shared the same interest with,so she was left alone with Fred.

Each time people would come to praise them and call them a beautiful young couple,at a point she got pissed.

Do..yo...u want.. anything,drink,water,I can get it for you,he said stammering.

Am fine,she said and walked out of the building.

She had being here for like 2 hours at most and did nothing fun,she started thinking about Ayden.

And why are you sitting aimlessly,a familiar voice asked and she looked up.

A fine man dressed like royalty carrying a cold aura,the darkness outlining his facial features and thin lips that was held up in a smirk.

Think of the devil,she thought.

You,what are you doing here?,she asked back in surprise.

You miss me,he asked as he sat closer to her.

You mean after you vanished for a week,never texted,no calls and mysteriously came here,na I was good,she said sarcastically.

I missed you too,he said with a smile.

So why aren't you in there socializing?,he asked.

Well I have nothing in common with those people,there have interesting line of works but I have no interest in that,and beside mom left me so am basically stuck with Fred,she said and sighed deeply.

How do you know that everybody doesn't like what you like,just try talking to them,he said and soon it was announced that the dance was holding place.

Wanna dance with me?,he asked and she nodded excitedly.
