Space Beast 2

After I found those two gadgets and set them into the the small bag I brought with me into her room, I quickly said bye to Sarah and headed straight to the bridge to discuss the plan of action when we do come across the Space Beast. Since I'm the one that is gonna be doing the capturing, I'm gonna need APD-01 flying the Evanescent in sync so that everything goes without a hitch.

I arrive shortly onto the bridge, and see the usual silent and eerie mood on the bridge since they are inorganic beings with only one of them having a personality module. As soon as ADP-01 realizes I have arrived he does a quick salute and gives me the sit-rep of the ship and of our course.

"Master Zen, it will only be three more hours until we arrive at the Vertigo Belt. We are jumping right next to the last seven position of the Space Beast and with luck the beast will still be in the immediate area. Also Master, we should not tarry long as this area is private mining field and will not take kindly to unauthorized guests when they discover us loitering about." ADP-01 informatively states to me in the current report.

"Well let's catch this thing quick! We are going with the same plan that we used against Almordian Speed-runner back a few hundred years when we were actually able to take missions to capture pirates and smugglers without having to give out personal information. I hate that the other races have started to develop technology and even made a device to scan a beings age and race. Which my age will come up with a very large number and race as a question mark since no modern civilizations have any actual data on the Ancient races." I state and complain at He same time to ADP in hope that I find a comrade that understands my troubles.

"Sorry Master, I could not care less about your petty problems and your identity crisis. I am a just a freedom loving robot that loves to archive new data into my hard drive." He emotionlessly says to me while I fake myself wallowing in self pity, and then immediately return to my normal self as that is enough of messing around and for the daily fun with my robots.

I walk over to the captains seat to await our arrival at the asteroid belt, and observe the area for the Space Beast or if possible signs of where it went. Three hours soon pass in silence as we notice the scene in front of us changing which signals our arrival at our destination.

"Send out the nano probes and set the scanners to max in search of the Space Beast and/or any clues towards its current location or destination if it has already left." I issue out commands as soon as I noticed our arrival at the asteroid belt.

""Yes Master"" All of the robots on the bridge sound out in inorganic melody that rings across the bridge.

A few small holes about the size of a small bullet open up on both sides of the ship releasing extremly small round balls that split open to reveal thousands of extremely tiny Nano bots that leave in search of their target.

With the scanner on full blast and the Nano bots searching it does not take long for them to find something as we quickly get an alert from one of the Nano bots.

"Switch to the camera on bot number 12-1346, and show up front what it has found!" I immediately tell one of the droids that is sitting at one of the control computers.

The droid quickly pulls it up on the holographic screen without saying anything to maximize speed,. What shows is not any clues or evidence, but he actual Space Beast itself; it's currently munching on a few small fighter ship size asteroids.

"Quickly get us over those coordinates and swing us around to where the left hull is facing horizontally toward the Beast! You take over command ADP!" I yell as I jump out of the captains seat and head straight towards the closest hatch that opens up to space.

The moment I find the closest hatch, I open up to the decompressing area and grab a helmet sitting on one of the hooks on the wall. I put the helmet on which synthesizes a perfect fit spacesuit that extends out from the helmet to cover my entire body. The spacesuit and helmet closely cover my body with no extra baggage that could hamper my movements, and the helmet leaves a small gap for my mask to perfectly fit in for the normal glass facial cover.

Once all safety measures for spacewalk is taken, I immediately close the hatch behind me and then open the one in front of me where the pressure instantly pushes me outward and into space.
