Chapter 09: who is the strange man??

The men drew their swords and began moving quickly toward them.

"Don't worry, just don't be a hindrance. Go and hide somewhere while I deal with this." Jhon drew his sword.and he emerged from the forest to confront them.

"I shouldn't let them surround me; that would make the situation difficult for me." Jhon said in his mind.

The men separate and widen the distance between them. Three of them have bows, stepping back to provide rear support for those in the front.

"They are working perfectly, despite facing a single opponent, they've maintained their coordinated fighting style."

They continue to keep the distance, the three archers in the rear prepare, releasing their arrows at John simultaneously. Immediately after, the rest advance to attack.

Jhon used the sword to deflect the arrows."They want to distract my attention. I have to finish them fast"

One of the men attacked on Jhon, He blocked it ,second man attacked, they didn't let Jhon attack back. The all men started attacking. John was fending off every attack, standing his ground without being forced to retreat, but he couldn't counterattack.

The individuals close to John step back, releasing arrows once again. This time, John avoids them.

"They want me to block them,that would give them a chance to find an opportunity to attack."

They started attacking again. Harry was heading and watch the fight.

"How would he defeat them." Harry said in his mind.

"There is no time I can't keep fighting them,I will end this fight now" jhon said in his mind, He also drew a medium-sized sword. The men hesitated and halted their attack.

"When I use both swords, my offense improves, but my defense weakens." Jhon said in his mind.

The men looked at each other for a while. Two of them moved toward Jhon, it seemed like a sacrifice.

They both attacked John at the same time. One waved his sword to strike John's leg, while the other aimed for his head. They attacked in this way to put him in a difficult situation.

John avoided the first strike, blocked the second with his sword, and simultaneously counterattacked the first man with his second sword,by a little strike, he manged to cut his hand viens.

When the men wanted to attack, his sword fell from his hand,then he realized the strike on his hand. The second men moved to save him.

That's why John left the first man alive,John realized that for the team to work with such skill, it was necessary for them to have emotions and relationships among themselves. He cleverly exploited this weakness to his advantage to make the second man attempt to save him.

A swift and decisive action by John, ending the lives of both men in a moment, leaving them as two dying individuals with severed throats and profuse bleeding.

"I hope this serves as a valuable lesson for you.No emotion or feelings in the fight."He said, standing behind the men, appearing suddenly. He had long black hair.

His clothes were different from the other men's attire.

"When I felt that we were being watched, this man who was watching us." Jhon said in his mind."he is like a shadow"

"Do not hesitate, just attack. and don't give him the chance to think" He said.

The men attacked with no hesitate on Jhon.

"I have to deal with them, and I also must not lose my focus on this man."Jhon said in his mind.

"What about you, won't you attack?" He asked the men with the bows. They looked at him for a moment "move" He said sternly. They executed his order immediately. Then he gave Jhon a cold smile.

They attacked John randomly this time. That's what John was waiting for. He used the situation to kill them without taking his eyes off the men.

 He knew that the men had a plan.

John faced no difficulty in confronting them now. They had abandoned their collective fighting and became like a pack of animals, attacking without a plan.

Before they realized it, only four of them remained, while the rest were dead. They retreated and began to flee to save their lives.

"Where do you think you're going?"the strange men said with a cold smile.

"Please let us go ,we will just die for nothing" one of them said, while crying.

"You are just pigs, and I am the one who decide when you should die."

"If you won't let us go,so we will kill you" they started attacking on the strange men.

Before they reach him. He moved his hands, and knives materialize between them out of nowhere. Without anyone being able to see, he thrown those knives, piercing the throats of the men.

"Fools" He said.

Jhon had looked at him for a while,"I don't think it's smart to wear priestly robes in a battle." Jhon said,The men answered by his cold smile again.

"I don't consider this a battle, really."

"His last move,Whether it's magic or mastery to that extent, in both cases, this is a formidable adversary. What's more frightening is their calmness in the midst of battle " Jhon said in his mind.

"You have a nice sword "

"I don't carry it for decoration." Jhon attacked. John approaches, swirling his sword in a circular motion to strike his opponent in the abdomen.

At the last moment the men jumped high,He extends his arms in the air.

Between his hand materialize a knives, Jhon noticed them,he thrown it on Jhon.

He blocked them with his sword, the men disappeared, Jhon wasn't knowing where was he.

"I am here" His voice came from directly behind John.

With no words, Jhon turned around to attack with his sword.The man delivered a kick to John's lower abdomen.

"This man is fast even in close quarters."Jhon said in his mind.

The strangest thing this time, when John looked at him, he found him standing on the water.

At that moment, the picture became clear to John – the one he was facing is a powerful sorcerer.

John had realized that his enemy this time was different; tricks wouldn't work against him because he was the master of tricks. How would John overcome this strange person who seemed to possess supernatural powers?
