Wind shot at their faces the second they stepped out of the tea area. It was stronger than before. Tiny scrapes were felt against their skin. Vanessa activated her limit break with Jaivva to form a flame bow.
It was a struggle to stay oriented, but she shot a fire arrow into a tree straight ahead. It served as a marker for them to run to without being thrown in circles. Nonetheless, it seemed as though the winds were too powerful for them to walk forward.
Jaivva took a knee. Given that Vanessa was able to fire the arrow straight, it meant that the wind was an illusion as well. Granted, it seemed real.
Just as Jaivva was about to dispel the illusion, a cat-like beast made of bark bit at her back. Vanessa fought against the current to pierce its abdomen with Magenta and pull it off, falling back along with it.
Kiki struggled to keep up physically with the turn of events, yet managed to activate her limit break with Jaivva to dispel the illusion winds.
