But when her small guild of misfits is threatened by an in-game assassin and her "ghost" warns her of a traitor, she feels at the end of her ropes. Will her new Isekai family stay together and make it to the pro leagues. Or will this traitor succeed at tearing them apart along with the harsh nature of the game? Find out in The Isekai Game. Notes: I know my first 2 chapters are confusing. I literally give the first 65 chapters free. My story has a "Do now, explain later" rhythm to it. The characters you read on in the first two chapters get fleshed out in the next two chapters. So give it a chance. Also, this is not your typical trash Isekai. There is no boy getting hit by a truck. No heavy romance. No high dive online nonsense. No harem. No sex jokes thrown every chapter nor bouncing tits. No truck-kun. No getting trapped in the game. No matrix or any other corny stuff. My concept is not original. But I literally cannot think of 1 story out there that has it. ".........///////////" indicates a transition in scene or time. My story gets hectic. This will help a lot. Instagram Page: the_isekai_game follow for more info regarding The Isekai Game. Artist: Serah Fletcher aka gr0vey.art on Instagram

Crescendo

Vanessa and Logan swam towards land. The music had a dark tone. Nobody knew where the attack was going to come from. But they all felt in their hearts that something was near.

"Yo!" yelled Jeff as the piano began playing a furious tone filled with rapid strokes of keys.

His eyes darted across the cave, seeing almost nothing except darkness. His heart raced migraines to his head in anticipation. Andres felt his heart pick up as he didn't know what to expect either.

Vanessa and Logan had reached the saturated ground, wringing out their clothes. They both realized that the cave was now right-side up.

Logan knew the gist of what was happening regarding the music but remained silent for their benefit. Vanessa noticed how panic was affecting everybody. Even the wet hairs on her back stood up as she heard the piano continue to play.

"Bro, let's just go!" yelled Jeff.

Andres shouted, "Everybody follow me".

"Wait!" shouted Vanessa, "Wee need to stay steady. No sprint".
