15 . Holding The Fort Part 2

POV : MIKAEL

Mika had ten minutes until the first wave of terminators arrived . After the entire grave event , He had told her everything about Skynet and what it's existence entailed .

Mika obviously did not tell her everything . certain things were forbidden from being told by the system and certain things were not . From what he understood , him telling Sarah about a genocidal A.I that was the cause of her parents death was allowed .

This was probably due to the fact that she would eventually find out what Skynet was . What he did was speed up the process of her knowing . Mika had also gained something he did not expect .

CONTESTANT MONARCH HAS SIGNIFICALLY INTERACTED WITH A MAIN CHARACTER OF THE TERMINATOR WORLD AND CHANGED THEIR FAITH . 

THE FUTURE OF THIS TERMINATOR WORLD WILL RECEIVE A SIGNIFICANT CHANGE 

FAVOURABILITY WITH SARAH CONNOR HAS BEEN MAXED OUT

Mika did not really know how having maxed out favorability with a child was going to help him in any way but he would let his future self handle it . 

Mika had noticed Sarah had gotten better after he told her about Skynet . At least now she had something to concentrate her anger on . Was it good that a child had so much anger in her . No it was not . 

But Sarah Connor was no normal child . She was practically a protagonist in the terminator world .

Sarah had wanted to participate in the upcoming fight and he readily agreed . He would rather have her go crazy while he was aware of it . And her presence would also make sure the terminators would follow the script he wanted . 

Her presence would assure him that the terminators would precisely come to this location . What if he hid her and they run away to look for her , that would be a disaster .

Mika understood that she would not be very useful in the bigger fight so , he gave her a very easy job . She would act as his look out . With the parts he salvaged from the radio and old computer , he had made a signal device that would track changing electro- magnetic waves in the area . 

This simply meant if the terminators used their Time displacement portals to arrive at this location , he would be alerted . Luckily , he had bought the walkie talkie back at AMMU-NATION . So she did not have to visibly present . 

The walkie talkie was a major help now that he was going to put it into use . It was the perfect trap tool and with the addition of the radio and the computer . Mika was smiling from ear to ear . Nothing could stop him. 

/ STATIC NOISES/ 

" Mikael , the transmitter is beeping . " Sarah said her voice coming from the other side . " Okay Sarah , no matter what happens , stay in the bunker . Alright?. " Mika asked gently . " Okay Mikael " 

What had come to a Surprise to Mika was the existence of a bunker under the cabin . Why exactly was it there . If Sarah had gone in there ,he would have probably never found her and that's what he did not understand her moving to the lake .

Mika's could hear further and he heard the distinctive sound of electricity far of in the forest . That was all he needed to know . 

And with the added fact that they were teleporting in the forest , all would go well

POV : T-900 INFILTRATOR 

' WOSSHHH WOSSSHHH'

A burst of blue spark suddenly appeared in the crowded forest charring the ground and the surrounding . Then , a rift appeared in the air . A dark void rift that burst from the very existing space . 

The electricity became wilder , fiercer as if in opposition with a force trying to deny it entry . Finally , the rift seemed to stabilize as a sort of spherical blue energy covered the ripped space .

A closer look into the dark space and you would have seen dark silhouette walking through the rift . Three bodies finally walked free from the space completely naked . One female and two males . The space rift still present behind them .

The three looked at the surrounding with their cold red robotic eyes scanning the area . 

" The target is not in the area . " The male T-900 Supply ( T-9S ) said . After the use of both it's optical sensors and thermal vision it had concluded the lack of a threat nearby . 

" Noted . Proceed with the mission ." The leading Female , a T-900 Infiltrator ( T-9I ) directed the final male Terminator to start doing it's job . 

Their core programing was simple . Locate Sarah Connor and if they can , Kill her . If they could not . They should report back for further information . 

The male terminator , a T-900 Red ( T-9R ) finally went into action . It turned to it's fellow male and with a robotic in difference , it ripped the skin from the T-9S before it started taking it apart . 

The head of the T-9S was placed aside as the T-9R started remodeling it's parts into a very familiar weapon . The Skynet Assault Cannon . 

T-9I was indifferent to all this happening , it was still observing the surrounding for any abnormal threats . From it's databanks , She knew that the Sarah Connor was a high level threat to Skynet's existence . 

Her processor chip could therefor infer that there could be presence of a reprogrammed terminator series from the resistance aiding Sarah Connors .

This very mission could be considered an experiment of sorts by Skynet . It would act both as a test run for the newly developed Infiltrator series and a chance for Skynet to see if it could eliminate the young Sarah Connor . 

A red hot heat signature appeared in the T-900I sensors . The signature was moving very fast towards the region they occupied . 

 " Proceed with the upgrades . I will handle the irregularity . " The T-9I said to the T-9R as it started walking away . 

According to it's database , their should not be any other humans in this area apart from Sarah Connor's family . It's logical chip lead it to assign the lowest threat level to the approaching head signature . As the T-9I classified the Heat signature as a wondering animal . 

Suddenly , the heat signature stopped moving forward . The T-9I did not understand the action but it continued to approach . 

The T-9I could finally see the figure . It went against her logic processors to see a human standing in front of her. It started feeling confused , something that it was not supposed to feel . 

By using it's data banks . It could infer that the male figure was moving faster than what was normal . It's logical reasoning was to investigate the human further but that would go against her core processing and mission .

A set of rules designed by Skynet in their programing that governed their actions .

One , Skynet was the absolute authority and all commands should be followed if from Skynet. The terminators should not stop until the mission is accomplished . And three , the terminators should not think for themselves . All thoughts they have should focus on Skynet's benefit and completing the mission .

And that was the problem the T-9I was facing . The human in front of it was something they had not seen before . And if it meant the resistance was starting to produce such humans , should the T-9I capture one to be studied which would be of benefit to Skynet or should she follow the mission she was given . which was a direct order from Skynet .

This very line of thought was what caused the terminators processing to start lugging . Skynet's use of a logical based program for the Terminator had proven to not be perfect.

And that was why the T-9I could not avoid what happened next . 

A bear trap enclosed both of her legs , biting into the synthetic skin covering her metalic body and causing sparks to fly . The T-9I could have easily handled it but what came after was what caught her attention . 

The human threw a bottle at her and the T-9I watched it approach . From what her sensors picked up , the bottle was of no harm to her . 

But what happened next was . 

' BANG ' ' CRACK ' 

The human shot the bottle while it was near her head and it exploded on her . 

The T-9I finally realized what was happening .

She was melting !!!!
