16 . Holding The Fort Part 3

POV : MIKAEL 

Mika had pre paired several spots through out the forest the whole of last night . The best advice he could give anyone who wanted to walk anywhere without him was to not .

This specific part of the forest , was not as heavily trapped as he would want it to be . Obviously , it was to lure any one who spawned here first with a false sense of security . 

His plan had worked well enough while the terminator was still approaching, he was able to use observe on it .

Presence of metallic limbs increases the chance of crushing damage occurring . This constitution also allows one to showcase enhanced capabilities . The user also has high durability . 

2 Optic sensors : This vision allows the user to showcase a variety of different visions i.e thermo vision , night vision , x-ray vision , zoom in etc 

3 Plasma blast : Due to the T-9I being built with a plasma fusion reactor , it exhibits a variety of weapons that are powered by the plasma core . The T-9I is able to fire plasma blast which drains energy from it's core . Due to the un stability of the core , the T-9I is able to fire ten shots . WARNING !!! The T-9I has a final attack in which it releases all it's energy at once in one big energy wave

Mika was impressed by what he was seeing . The terminator was not only stronger than his current self, it also had more skills than him .

The fact that Skynet could mass produce them was worrying but that was not a problem for him to handle.

Mika was just waiting for the terminator to step on the bear trap and the rest would be history .

His perception was going of like crazy so he understood the level of caution he needed to act with

' SNAP '

Everything after the bear trap was exactly as he planned . And it all lead up to the bottle filled with the very corrosive mixture that was now burning the terminator .

The system had even graded the item.

The acid was working better than he thought it would and with the added effect of oil and fire , the T-9I was going through hell . 

It's false ski had already melted off and it's robotic face was starting to show . One thing that confused him was why the T-9I was screaming . Did it feel pain or was it programmed for self preservation .

Both the stun effect and the bear trap were doing a great job at keeping the T-9I grounded . 

' BANG BANG BANG ' 

Mika had already taken out his heavy shotgun and was unloading on the T-9I . 

' CRACK '

He threw another bottle at the terminators chest and it was very effective . The terminators otherwise impressive durability was quickly becoming useless . 

/ STATIC NOISES / 

" Mikael are you okay . " Sarah contacted him over the walkie talkie .

Mika immediately saw the change in the T-9I . As if it had come to terms with something as it did something he did not expect . 

It started running away !!!

POV : T-9I

T-9I after hearing the voice of Sarah Connor over the walkie talkie , had solidified it's mission objects in it's mind.

Thoughts of capturing the un identified male had disappeared and all that remained was the mission.

The T-9I uncaring for the injuries it had gotten turned back and started running towards the portal . The injury it had acquired to it's leg slowed it down significantly that the human was keeping pace with it .

The bear trap holding her leg was being dragged as she run further causing damage to her but the mission was more important .

' BANG BANG BANG '

The human behind her continuously shot at her unprotected back further causing her to slow down .

But the T-9I knew as long as she arrived at the portal space , she would have the back up of the T-9R .

And her mission would be all but complete .

The T-9I despite how slow she was running, the human would never catch up .

This went against the data the human had shown earlier but to the T-9I all thoughts apart from the mission had become secondary .

POV : MIKAEL

Mika was casually chasing after the running terminator.

He found it funny that it was leading him back to their base probably to report it's findings.

Mika had obviously noticed the T-9I change when it heard Sarah over the walkie talkie.

Was this a mistake on Mika's part or pre planned . The smile on his face was enough answer .

The only thing that worried him while following the terminator was the amount waiting for their arrival.

If the number was to high , Mika could do nothing else but retreat. But if it was as low as he thought it would be. Hell would break loose .

The terminator was showing signs of slowing down . Mika noticed the increased damage to it's legs and concentrated his fire power there .

'BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG '

Shot after shot at it's legs had finally paid of . Mika was ready to finish it of as he approached the T-9I as it still continued to crawl forward .

It was kinda pitiful as he watched it but unluckily for it , they were enemies .

[ Augment : Overclock. ]!!

Mika's body instinctively went into overdrive . His perception sped up as the world around him slowed down.

An overwhelming sense of danger had over whelmed him .

Further away from where he was standing , another Terminator stood . A male terminator.

It had a futuristic Gatling gun aimed directly at him .

Mika felt another danger beneath him and looking at the downed T-9I, it's hand had transformed to a a blaster type weapon aimed directly at him .

< MIKAEL was a type of human who made very little mistakes . On the rare occasion that it did happen , it would usually blow up in his face .>
