PROS AND CONS

It finally clicked to me. They all were considering the strength of the ones that followed me as my own. In a way they were right to do so, but what I couldn't rap my mind around was what it was that made them give the entire credit to me. 

Me " While I do understand what you are saying, I have to clarify that it was the captain that trained them and their own hard work, in order to improve their then life, that resulted in the force that you see today. " 

Contrary to anything I had expected, the reaction that my father gave to this was laughter. 

Father " The captain himself did say that you would try and give all the credit to him and the soldiers." 

I had not expected that they had already spoken to the captain before speaking with me.
