Julie (The First Day pt1)

I can't do this. That bus is packed. There was no way me Olive and Tyler could sit close or anywhere near each other! I'd be separated from them imidiatly until I find class!

"It's going to be okay." Tyler whispers behind me putting his hand on my shoulder. I nod and walk to the closest spot I could.

After the first five minutes, the bus stopped at the high school and around forty percent of the kids got off. Olive stood up and pulled me toward the middle of the bus where we could all sit together now. She sat next to me and Tyler sat on the seat across from us.

It was quiet now. I put my head on the cold window and watched as the sun slowly rose up over the horizon and I could start to see the color in the trees and grass. I like this. it's peaceful. About another ten to fifteen minutes later, we arrived and HiddenVally Middle School.

"Okay, when we get off the bus. Grab onto me and dont let go until we're at your locker. There are a lot of people and I don't want us to get separated." Olive said gertting her backpack. I figured I should do the same and picked mine off the floor and next to me on the seat, getting ready to get up.

"Okay. Got it."

The very second the bus made the noise signalling to us the bus has officially stopped. Olive jumped up pulling me behind her and Tyler behind me. We talked while walking toward the door. When we got caught in the crowd of kids trying to walk through the door, they grabbed onto me and guided me through the door and towards the lockers until coming to mine.

"Okay, we have about ten minutes until the bell rings, fourteen until the tardy bell rings." Olive explained

"So if you can be done in three minutes here, then we can go to my locker and olives we can be done withing two minutes. That's seven minutes, we'll have eight to get to class. Plenty of time." Tyler finished while I started putting things away in my locker.

Once we were all done at our lockers, we had six minutes to get to class. I had locker problems and they had to help me, but we're good. Olive's first class is up stairs and across the building from us.

"Bye olive, see you at lunch, I guess..." I said nervously and Tyler showed me the way over to our History class.

Class was slow and boring. Mrs. Harrington introduced me to the rest of the class and sat me close to Tyler. the girl next to me, Lana, was super helpful. She showed me how to do the map project for tonight and Tyler will help me out tonight as well.

The bell rang. I didn't have second period with anyone I knew. I practically ran upstairs.

"Slow down, you have four minutes remember? Plenty of time!" Olive said catching me.

"Right, okay, thanks." And she walked me to my next class before she went downstairs to hers.

"Class, we have a new student, this is Lizzy. Lizzy I am Mr. Burington, you may take a seat right over there." He pointed to a seat in the middle of the room. English was even more slow than History. Was class always going to be like this.

"Tonight you need to read chapters seven and eight of our book." Mr. Burington said.

"Chapter eight! I don't even know what book we're reading!" I whisper panicked.

"It's okay, I can help you later maybe?" The girl to to my left said. We talked for a little while and exchanged phone numbers. When the bell rang we left the class room.

"Oh, I'm Lizzy by the way. You can call me Liz though."

"Right, I'm Julie. My next class is this way so I have to go now. Bye." Julie. I thought she was some kind of two-faced monster. I went off to third period and decided I'd talk to Tyler and Olive about it at lunch.

The bell for lunch rang. I had no idea where the cafeteria was I'd find it quite easily I'm sure. it wasn't too too big of a school. People kept shoving me around like I wasn't even there. Where was I? Suddenly, I couldn't breathe. I got dizzy and feel like I am going to mass out. Shoved up against the lockers, I say there and waited for everything to stop.
