The man was full-on worshipping Sciens that looked at him in confusion as this had happened before, but he didn't understand what he did that led to this.

While he did chase away the band of troublemakers (then devoured them, not that these people know of it) but by no means did he intend on saving them hell; the only reason why Sciens made a move was due to the crying girl in his arms was about to be harmed.

So he moved on, ignoring the middle-aged man before taking the girl to her family.

Shizuku was currently sitting down while leaning her body onto a table while lightly scratching the head? Of one of the mono-eyed spiders that she picked up, she was curious about what it was made of.

The spider was having mixed feelings about this situation, as were the rest, as they could all feel what it was feeling.

Let us put it this way... 'imagine' experiencing something that you don't like, but it was just too good, like a taboo that was hard to resist.

So the spider was half trying to resist the girl's pleasant scratching, yet it made no effort to escape her grasp!

The even sillier thing was every time Shizuku stopped, this girl would dangle her finger while wiggling it over her 'resisting' victim of curiosity as if to make it beg for more by unwillingly? Nibble on her fingertip.

As for her mother's reaction now that she was awake and seeing this scene, her face was flushed while turning her head away from this scene as this seemed rather erotic from the unintentional sensual look Shizuku made every time the spider managed to nibble on her finger and mind you, Sciens has no concept of sex or lust, so he was just doing his own thing and enjoying himself in his own little way with things being so peaceful now.

just that every time she was bit, a surge of Reiatsu would pass through her finger, and this was like putting something back in place better than ever in her case, a part of her soul~

But enough of this silly scene.

The haven of humans had attracted more powerful monsters that slowly made their way to this place.

The Now firm believer was already praying out loud as the large monsters made their way to their sanctuary, not knowing that this place was more than well-protected.

With every weaker monster dying in brutal manners thanks to the numerous webs that acted as a barrier and thin blades that cut anything non-human to pieces, the more reverent the middle-aged man was causing more people within the building to join him in his prayers, much to Sciens dismay.

While he hoped that none of them would become crazy fanatics, only time will tell as the looks in the 'believers' eyes made the clone, and the spiders that saw this shudder in disturbance as one of them actually believed that his newly awakened ability aka 'fullbringers' was thanks to being blessed by the land god, while he wasn't blessed, Sciens did help, but still, the person who received the 'blessing' was the middle-aged man whose name is Yamagi Kentarou what his ability turned out to be was making his locket that held the picture of his wife and kids to create an area that healed and rejuvenated anything within it.

Thanks to the 'blessing' he received, more people were desperate to survive and have a way to protect themselves to join the new 'cult' that quickly formed.

Sciens did not like this, but he endured the headache-inducing group that wanted nothing more than to receive more 'blessings' and his attention!

Sciens was now tending to Shizumi and Yuzuha, and he gave up two of his eyes to be their plushies, all while talking about the good times he had with his old friends, the adventures, all while leaving out the explicit parts.

It was fun listening to the two girls laugh, interestingly enough, more children from the other survivors curious about where the laughter was coming from had found the two girls, but sadly for Sciens, they could see or hear him, much less the two 'plushies'.

But that was an easy fix; if they can't hear or see him, what about his writing?

Sure enough, thanks to the older kids that could read, aka Shizumi and yuzuha, the rest were able to enjoy the story that seemed out of a fairytale or novel~

Kentarou came to Sciens' clone before kneeling as he begged for him to save more people; the clone raised his hand, causing the man to stop as he wrote on the notepad.

"Sorry, kids, we'll continue this later."

Like how the usual kids would react from being cut off from what they liked, the ones that couldn't see him made the awwwwe sound while those that could see him attempted to use a child's ultimate weapon...

If they could see his face, they would've noticed that it cramped up, but Sciens managed to resist, as at first, he wanted to talk to the man and reject, but Shizumi and Yuzuha whispered what they truly wanted to the 'plushies,' thus, letting him hear everything.

That's why now, to accomplish their wish like a doting parent, he said these words.

"I will go alone!"

Kentarou was thanks to him truly believing that Sciens was a land god, started freaking out as he tried to persuade him into letting his 'devouts' do it for him, but By the time the first word left his lips.

The Arrancar had already used Sonido as he started searching for any humans nearby; yes, he had found a good number of humans. Yes, many of them were children; however, what he saw would lead to the extinction of a few invading races...

As these group of ogres were consuming the children like snacks!
