The hollow that seeks a home

An indifferent Hollow that was a spider with its exoskeleton looking like it had a hundred thousand eyes at its full power and true form, a thousand when it is somewhat excited, and a hundred at its normal.

It excelled in spying and assassinations using its threads covered in poisonous reiatsu to rip its prey apart or to hinder them.

Darkness is its best friend.

Its eyes can detach from its body and be used like a camera allowing him to see from a distance.

The hole in its body is located at the center of its chest when it is in its humanoid form.

Its true talent lay in almost absolute control over its reiatsu making it difficult for those that rely on reiatsu to detect others, thus making it nearly impossible to sneak up on it unless the person's control was even greater than its own.

It was never one to show its true body to anyone unless it understood its enemy completely and was sure to have an escape plan in case things go awry.

It has a few memories about children as it remembers pieces of its past life of being a chairman of an old orphanage that stayed up and running for centuries, so any foolish people or monsters that try to lay a hand on the children within its sight always 'disappeared' upon trying their luck.

Each eye can take the form of a small spider while holding a portion of its total power making them capable pawns that can be regenerated upon dying at the cost of some reiatsu.

What it lacked in hunger compared to the rest of the hollows was emotions, unable to love, unable to find joy, unable to complete itself as it only felt a sense of satisfaction from watching over the children within this little village that it arrived in.

But the world it was in wasn't that of bleach but that of a world where people used small sheets of paper to call upon the elements to do their bidding, or to summon bizarre monsters that were foreign to its knowledge, it decided to live in a quiet forest leaving a humble village within its reach as a source of passing time while the actions it had always done for the people of the village after a hundred years as the village grew in size also allowed some of the inhabitants to see its actions in protecting the land which led to many of the villagers to start believing that the grounds their village was in belonged to some kind of land god.

Even more so when a rampaging Oni tried to kill everyone within the village only for it to die under a single red beam that erased the monster's existence, this action alone made them begin worshipping it as they would send offerings from food to clothes and the occasional nice-looking ores(Ooh Shiny~).

Eventually, there's always some overzealous believer that tried sending a child under everyone's noses as an offering, his own child, only for their 'god' to tie the man in the middle of the village until the next morning before they were discovered then upon finding out the story behind the reason he was webbed up.

Many of the people admonished the man before they all mentally noted 'no children sacrifices!'.

But despite its efforts for a quiet life of watching children grow and a place to call home, there were always those that didn't think kindly of him, as powerful demons began challenging it for the land believing that it too was a demon an ancient one at that, thanks to these disturbances it had attracted numerous humans that used those papers had come to the area, some were kind to the locals, while others either were too aggressive or just didn't care for regular people.

Thanks to that, hostilities began and countless onmyōji practitioners died under the nearly endless hordes of spiders and his poisonous reiatsu.

These annoying scuffles (in his eyes), were threatening the lives of the children that he looked after, so he erected a strange barrier made of his reiatsu and webs the kind that spared those he recognized as people of the village and any children as they were innocent.

But all that changed when they made one of the greatest mistakes of all time.

They decided to let a certain overzealous onmyoji that wanted nothing more than to kill all possible threats lead an operation to kill the 'corrupted' villagers and to destroy the very land it considered as home despite never leaving the territory for decades nor did it attack anyone outside its area of influence.

So imagine what happened when the children that went out to play were killed by those fanatics…

All of the hollow's inhibitions were gone, it cared no longer for peace, no longer for its lands, no longer for the destruction, it would cause, only hunting for the man that started it all.

It went on a rampage for over ten years before a man named abe no Seimei finally 'defeated' it with more than half of their country destroyed and oddly enough none of the children in any of the affected areas were harmed as they were taken care of by these strange mono-eyed spiders that disappeared when someone took care of them by bringing them to the nearby orphanage or by getting adopted…

The Hollow didn't lose itself completely and it was only defeated because the very man that ordered the slaughter of the kids from its village was finally had his soul ripped out and devoured by it.

As now it slumbered in a sealed bottle that abe no Seimei offered to let it remain undisturbed at least until one of his descendants requested for its help as a thank you for the peace, it was to be given three times, according to the agreement, it was to offer help when needed, so hopefully, the one who awakens it in the future.

Hopefully, it will be someone similar to Abe no Seimei.

Just that there was one problem that came about when Abe no Seimei passed away, he failed to sever his spiritual connection completely with the very object it was sealed in, thus it unintentionally followed his soul on its journey to be reincarnated as the container remained undisturbed and hidden within the traveling soul until the 13th year when the world they were in was suddenly overrun by monsters
