CH: 6 - Before the Disaster

NARRATOR: Suddenly, in the sky, a Nevermore appeared, surprised by everyone, preparing to land, more precisely for impact. The Nevermore was crying and screaming in the hope that someone would save him. When they hit the ground, they plowed the asphalt, and hit a house with their momentum. A huge cloud of dust came up again... and a menacing music started to play...

THE ONLY THING THEY FEAR IS YOU BY MICK GORDON STARST TO PLAY

A FEW HOURSE AGO:

NARRATOR: In a room at Beacon's College, where four girls tried to rest from yesterday's fatigue. They were excited for today's event , I mean, most of them. One of the girls had been awake for a long time, and was really thinking about something. specifically, White Fang and where and when they'll strike again. Her hair was long and wavy also black as night and her eyes were amberish, in her hair, she had a black bow that covered her kitty ears, and her name is Blake Belladonna.

BLAKE'S POV:

Blake: "After the incident at the warehouse, The White Fang literally disappeared... Where the hell are they? and now what are they planning?" - I was thinking about that, meanwhile I looked at the girls, as they sleep peacefully, and a big sigh came out of my mouth. "I don't understand how they can still be so peaceful and cheerful... in turn they know, what the White Fang is capable of, to achieve their goals. I... I just don't understand..." - it was these thoughts that came to my head, when Yang suddenly jumped out of her bed and began to stretch a bit. Seriously its always scares me at such times.

Yang: "Finally! After all this time... WE CAN HAVE A BLAST TONIGHT!" - she said those words a quite... cheerfully. The walls of our room were shaking in her shout, that's for sure.

Wiess: "Oh for God's sake Yang. You couldn't shut your mouth a little longer? There's still a half an hour left we can rest, so let's at least take advantage of it." - in half-sleeping, she somehow managed to say that. Looks like we're not gonna have a quiet morning again...

Yang: "Interesting... that kind of behavior it's unlike to you." - she raised her eyebrows for that. "You're not telling me that..." - she slid closer to Wiess. "You were dreaming about your Mr. Right, as you two dance, in the endless night, as you strained together and fluttered your first ki-" - and all of a sudden, Wiess threw her pillow at her before she could tell yang what she had to say, and weiss gave Yang a grumpy and a bit red face.

Yang: "Oh... so I was right!" - after that, Yang got another pillow from Weiss right into her face again, which I don't know where she got it from. But I have a hunch she stole it from me, yesterday. I thought I'd get involved in this huge idiot thing and calm them down.

Blake: "I think you've had enough of this, at least let Ruby get some sleep... if your yelling didn't wake her up already."

Yang: "You never let me down, Blake. You're always that early bird type." - she looked at me with a grin. "If everyone's up, I guess my little sis' wouldn't mind it... Riiiiiiight?" - meanwhile, she started poking Ruby's face.

Ruby: "Besides, I've been awake for a while, too...and please Yang... Can you stop poking my face... it's kind of... annoying."

Yang: "Oh sorry."

Weiss: "Oh, that's great! So everyone heard everything?" - she asked the question in his cynical tone.

Blake & Ruby: "Yep..." - after that, she covered his head under the quilt and turned to the other side.

Yang: "I guess you are excited, about the highlight of the day. Don't you?" - she asked the question with a big smile.

Blake: "I'm being honest... Not really." - for that Yang started to walk towards me with a disappointed face.

Yang: "Oh, Come on! Don't be such a mood killer, it'll be fun." - her eyes glistened in the hope that I might change my mind.

Ruby: "I don't know why, but I suddenly have a bad feeling about today..." - Ruby said those words a little monotonous, like she wasn't Ruby at all. She always so cheerful and childish. That surprised me.

Yang: "How can you betray your OWN sister just like that Ruby... I have trusted in you all along..." - then she put her hand on her head and leaned back on the bed just like a she's some kind of theater drama character... this idiot will gonna knock this bed over.

Blake: Watch out for the bed! FOR THE BED!" - I was trying to balance the bed quickly so it wouldn't tip over for me. Yang quickly grabbed it and tried to hold on to it. Fortunately, nothing bad happened.

Yang: "Sorry next time I'll pay more attention to what I'm leaning on... hehe." - meanwhile, she started scratching the back of her head.

Blake: "I recommend also..." - after that, Yang went to Ruby

Yang: "But for real what's wrong sis'? It's like you've been replaced with someone else... and I don't mean it in a good way." - she was worried and curious at the same time.

Ruby: "I'm fine... don't worry about it. It's just, for some reason, that's how I feel." - then Yang put her head even closer to Ruby.

Yang: "If you're worried about tonight, you'd better let it go. You'll find yourself a dance partner for sure... You're still fresh." - She said these words in a whisper. I mean, she was trying to whisper it to her, but I think Weiss heard it, too, not just me.

Ruby: "That's not what I meant... and what do you mean by "fresh"? It's a little weird." - then Yang moved back a little, and started whistling as if she didn't hear Ruby's words. I thought I'd try to comfort her.

Blake: "Don't worry Ruby. I don't think anything wrong will happen today, enjoy this day for as long as you can. I don't think there will be another day like this in the near future..." - I tried to say these things with a smile. But I hate to lie to myself and the others so much that the smile I've been trying to maintain has almost become angry and disgusted by myself... I think it will be better if I still try to gather some information about the current location of The White Fang. I haven't been able to get anywhere so far.

Yang: "Blake said so. You'll be fine today, don't worry. Come on, it's time to get dressed! Isn't it, Wiess?" - for that Weiss pulls the blanket on her even more.

Wiess: "We still have at least 15-20 minutes, so please... LEAVE ME ALONE!" -

Yang: "Ok! Ok! I get it... Ice Queen." - Yang and Ruby smiled at this

Wiess: "I would strangle you in a spoon of water right now..." - and then all of a sudden Yang laughs.

Yang: "Well good luck! But you know, you have to get out of the bed anyway." - then Weiss began to grumble in her bed, to which Ruby began to laugh.

Blake: "How nice it would be if out in the city, between the kingdoms, and between the people and the faunas were as peacful and cheerful like them." - with these thoughts in my head I watched the others laugh at Wiess.

Yang: "Well Blake, Did you changed your mind? Would you come with us?" - she turned to me.

Blake: "Maybe..." - I sighted

BACK TO THE CLOSE PAST:

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

NARRATOR: A massive explosion, and the shock wave it generated, destroyed most of the buildings around them. And out of the smoke The Doom Slayer came out with angry bloodthirsty eyes. He quickly cast his eyes on the tunnel that successfully rescued these bastards from his hands. But unfortunately, he realized that, it had been a while since it was detonated.

Doom Slayer: "Darn!... it's just that if I had my darlings at my fingertips, they wouldn't have survived my first encounter with me." - he said those things in anger. "Now how am I gonna catch up with them..." - then he began to grumble, as he tried to wipe the dust and ash off the Praetor Suit with his hands. "Oh, yeah, and how long do I have to wait for you to successfully scan that shit, Hayden?"

Dr. Samuel Hayden: "I thought you would be fine without it... you were already rushed towards it instead of retreating." - in an arrogant and monotonous voice, Samuel said these words. "And you already forgot about your old friend?..."

Doom Slayer: "Oh, you're right... can you show me the position of the imitation at the HUD again. And wheres Vale... was that city where I saw that big tower nearby?"

Dr. Samuel Hayden: "Even the shortest route is calculated, and yes it's Vale, if I recall, the contents of the document. Also you don't have to worry about this place, The high-level argent energy output that caught my interest is down about 41%. So if there were any survivors in this direction, they would be able to stay in this city, until you clean this area properly." - slayer nodded for that. "And maybe we can find something useful in the wreckage and the containers here that weren't loaded up to the train..." - then he looked at the destroyed Grenade Launchcher and took it into his hands. "It's possible that we could do something with this, if we look more closely around here." - he nodded his head again, and threw the Grenade Launcher to the ground.

DOOM SLAYER'S POV:

Doom Slayer: "How the hell did The Khan Myker get this far, and why didn't she start the massacre and occupation of human souls with the help of Demons here?... Maybe, she could afford for these imitations? But I have killed the Khan Myker, so the contract between the Mykers and the Demons are anulleted... Maybe there's a Hell Priest nearby who who controls them? Let's just say he sucks at it... There are more and more questions, and no answers to any of them. Looks like I'm gonna have to visit these Atlesian guys, too. But now... I'm gonna beat the shit out of these motherfuckers and I'm gonna make sure." - these thoughts came to my head as I tried to climb out of this hole, on the sides of the buildings. That was pretty quick. It's like the buildings were collapsing on purpose so I could climb right out of there. After climbing out, I was heading straight for the bird imitation at an incredible speed. It took me, like, two or three minutes to get there and the bird was twitching and trying to get out. I quickly removed the iron bars that held this beast and sat on its back trying to steer it towards the city where I saw that great tower.

MEANWHILE AT THE TRAIN:

NARRATOR: The train was halfway to Vale's, and on the way there, some of the wagons were disconnected and detonated, which got the Grimms to their attention, and after that they were trying to led the Grimms through the tunnel to Vale. I mean, it was the first phase of this quickie invasion. In one of the cars, there was a gathering of white fang's men and roman torchwick himself, holding a glass of wine in his hand, half-filled. It looked like they'd just gathered.

Roman Torchwick: "To be honest, I didn't expect this to ever happen to us. I didn't believe what my dear loafers used to tell me... but lucky for us and for our "cold blood"... Also thanks to my great leadership, we managed to escape from this monster, and also we managed to initiate Phase Two of the plan without any further discomfort... So I would like to offer my sincere congratulations to you, and I hope for the best, that this relationship that we are now having between us, can only be closer and stronger because of this situation." - after this speech of Roman made, people began to cheer with joy in their eyes, and was hoping that this plan will succeed, and by doing so, the purpose of White Fang will be in a visible distance. "But nobody sits back now. We're just getting to the really serious part of this plan... We've already sacrificed so much that this plan has come to this. We can't let what we've done here go to nothing. I hope I don't have to tell you our plan again, 'cause this will be the third time I will say it, and I think it would be a little awkward..." - then he lifted up his half-filled glass of wine. "I hope there are no other questions... because we're about to arrive in Vale. I suggest you all fasten your seatbelts wherever you can. It's gonna be a little rough on the next impact, I just thought I'd give you a heads-up. I wish you ladies and for all the gentlemen a safe journey." - then he drank the wine. He turned around with a big grin, meanwhile, the faunas gave him a big praise, and he left that car.

MEANWHILE AT VALE:

NARRATOR: "On the streets of Vale, people walked happily and carelessly, and did their troubles and things. The city was full of houses and stores. It doesn't really look like a big city. There was no rush, everyone was peaceful even the Faunas who settled here because of the wars. The children were playing on the streets, the young people, more specifically the students in Beacon were walking the shops in hopes of finding a comfortable and attractive outfit for tonight's event. Well, the majority of the people like to leave things to the last minute. Of course, there were also those who had already bought clothes a month in advance, or just brought them from home if they had a chance to go home. In front of a clothing store, two ladies stood a little nervous. They seemed to have been standing in front of that store for quite some time and began to lose patience. One of them was long brown-haired rabbit-eared faunus girls, who still endure this waiting, but the lady next to her, not so much. She have a short dark-brown hair, and she wears sunglasses. She have wavy locks on one side of her face, dyed with a gradient that starts as dark brown and transitions to caramel. You could tell by the look on her face that if they didn't come out right now for whom he was waiting, she'd go in and get them. Their names are Velvet Scarlatina and Coco Adel.

Coco: "There is no such a thing... Fox and Yatsuhashi have been in there for an hour. Don't you get a little tired of this V." - then she turned to Velvet with her arms folded, who was leaning against the wall, trying to pass the time somehow. She took out her scroll and looked at the time.

Velvet: "It's only been 24 minutes since we've been waiting for them..." - she then put it back and went closer to Coco.

Coco: "Girl, you don't get it. It's not sooo polite to keep a woman waiting, especially for THIS long. They told that: 'Oh, please come with us. We'll be back soon. We won't be long.' the hell you don't. Seriously I will go in for them right now!" - she was tired and nervous when she said those words. If you look closely, underneath her sunglasses, there were purple circles, suggesting that he was up for a little while.

Velvet: "I think it's a better idea if we go in. See if we can find something nice."

Coco: "Look at me, girl." - She took a good look at her. "Do you think there's anything else I need?" - she said it with a scowl and a nervous tone.

Velvet: "Uhhh... Maybe it would be better if we go to the nearest café, It's just around the corner. It is possible for you to get something well from there." - she had an awkward grin on her face, a little scared because she didn't want Coco to yell at her, which was pretty close. Especially in a situation like this.

Coco: "That's a really good idea, though. Why didn't I think of that? I may have gone to too much trouble with the preparations." - after that, she had a smile on her face, Velvet calmed down for this, and slowly set off towards the café.

Velvet: "Oh yeah, shouldn't we tell the bo-?"

Coco: "Leave them alone. If they want to REALLY find us, they'll use their brains cells, and call us on the scroll. But we should hurry up, I could really use a cup of coffee."

Velvet: "Mhhh... yeah, you're right." - she said it with a smile. She was very pleased that She was finally able to get Coco out of his irritable behavior today. "Come to think of it, I could use a cappuccino, too."

NARRATOR: After that, the two ladies headed towards the café. But that peaceful and cheerful city will not last long, unfortunately. The train was a few minutes away and a huge horde of Grimms followed them. The mechs were loaded all loaded, and the rest of them, armed yourselves. It seemed that the huntsmen and the hutresses would get into a very serious fight with the Grimms and the Roman-led faunas. But this fight for the coming warrior, who's been through hell and "heaven", it'll be a piece of cake.
