HE PUSHES THE DOORS OPEN WITH HASTE and it causes the old woman seated inside to jolt up in her seat, not only does she react that way, the other girl standing inside the office also gets startled.
"What is going on, Leonidas?" Zondani questions with wide eyes.
The gardener begins to pant hard then he pulls his hat down from his grey hair. "I suggest you hide the girl." He looks tiredly at the tall, human girl with blonde hair standing in front of Zondani with a worried look.
"What? Do I need to hide again?" the girl asks, looking around with worry and fear.
"No," Zondani answers, "Not until I know what this is about." She raises an eyebrow for the gardener to continue speaking.
With one last intake of breath, he speaks out, "Kai is on his way here and he doesn't look like he wants to talk."
As the words come out, the doors opens and the god steps in. However, he pauses at the door when something feels off to him.
