"There's no need. A kid like you, I already know what you want." Lokarn was an expert blacksmith, so he should know what he was doing, and know about clients that knock on his door.

"Oh." Lance was a little sad but figured that someone of Lokarn's skills, whatever he made, would be to his liking, especially after seeing the sword that he gave Lance. "Okay, but can I at least watch?"

Lokarn scratched his head, normally he wouldn't allow the customers to stay while he worked. But as he looked at Lance he saw a sort of spark in the kid, "Fine, Just stay out of my way!" With that, he grabbed the ten fangs and 2 claws and walked over to his workshop.

Lance grabbed the rest of his loot and put it away before following behind.

"Sit there and shut up!" Lokarn kept eyeing Lance. He didn't know what it was about this kid, but he felt that there was something up with Lance. He didn't know what it was, but he had a feeling he should keep his eye on him.

Lance walked over to a chair in the back and sat down. He planned on watching every detail as the master worked. All he could think about was getting that new sub-class and being able to craft his own gear. All the benefits that he could gain from being able to craft his gear, the thought of being able to modify it to suit his style. And he even thought about possibly selling some of the gear he crafts. Firstly, he would need to finish the quest for that, and a workspace to do his crafts.

Like the expert he is, Lokarn took the fangs and placed them in a press. He then took the two claws and placed them off to the side. Not too far away was a bin full of different types of metal pieces. Lokarn walked over and started throwing metal away, clearly searching for something specific. "Ah-ha, there you are!" He grabbed some brightly colored metals, either silver or steel, Lance wasn't quite sure which. Lokarn looked over at Lance and saw the puzzled look, "It's Silver. I'm gonna combine weakness and strength into the final product."

"Oh, That's a thing you can do?" Lance didn't honestly expect that. In his mind, he figured you want to maximize the strength, not add something that could weaken it.

"Of course." He walked over to the forge and threw the silver into a small metal bowl and began melting it. A loud bell sounding alerts Lokarn to the press finishing. The press crushed all the fangs into a fine powder. He grabs the container filled with the powder and slowly adds it to the molten silver. As he slowly adds the powder, he stirs the mixture together. Once all the dust is mixed in he takes the mixture over to a couple of molds and pours it in. Once the mixture is all poured out into two fairly big ingot molds, he places them off to the side. While he waited, he walked over to a chair beside lance and sat down.

Lance was watching intently as he waited for Lokarn to continue. Without looking away Lokarn decided to explain the process. "You gotta let the ingots harden naturally. It'll help get rid of a lot of impurities and harden the metal. Then you just reheat the ingots and forge them into the shape you want. Having a clear plan in advance is a must. You never want to start forging without knowing what you're trying to create." Lokarn didn't know why he was explaining everything, but it came naturally to him, and spoke without even thinking.

"Oh." Lance didn't know what else to say. He never would have imagined that he would be experiencing such events. Going to a new planet, meeting aliens, fighting mystical creatures, or even seeing how to smith. it was all very fascinating to him.

Vixen was smiling while watching him. She did like the look he gets when he is focused. 'Why does he look so cute!'. Vixen thought to herself.

Lance got a sour look on his face, 'I am not cute. Handsome, sure. Hot? Maybe. But definitely not cute!'

Vixen's face grew red, completely forgetting that she doesn't have private thoughts. 'Sorry. You're just so focused right now.

'Hmph'

Lokarn gets up from the chair and grabs the ingots with some tongs and puts them back in the fire to heat them. Once they are bright red, he grabs one out and starts hammering them into a shape. "This is the longest part, so pay attention." Seems like Lokarn is enjoying teaching as much as Lance is enjoying learning.

Almost two hours had passed before Lokarn finished. He wiped the sweat from his brow as he made some finishing touches. All that was left was adding the pummels. He screwed them on tightly and laid the two Swords on the work table. "Finished." He took a clean cloth and wiped the swords down. He waves Lance over, "Come, Have a look." He moved to the side and made room for Lance.

Lance walked over to the table and touched the swords gently, "Wow! They are so beautiful!"

Upon the quest's completion, Lance started to gain knowledge on how to craft basic weapons and armor. as his mind started to fill up, he also gained some tricks from watching Lokarn work. After analyzing the gains from acquiring a new class, Lance looked to the swords.

The swords were of high quality. Light Thorn was a pure white blade, taking its appearance from the silver used in its forging. It had Runic along the blade that let out a green glow, and the claw that made the pummel was sharp and had a tint of white light shining through. Eclipse on the other hand. The blade came out black as the night, with Runic writing etching down the blade as well. The only difference was the Runic had a multi-color glow to it. And the pummel was also glowing with multiple different colors.

'In a single day, I made over five thousand experience, over two thousand UAC, gained a new skill, obtained a Sub-Class, and got two green uncommon quality swords. I think my luck is changing.' Lance wasn't exactly thinking for Vixen to hear, but she smiled nonetheless. "Thank you so much for everything Lokarn!" Lance smiled and bowed to Lokarn, "How much do I owe you for these?"

"Owe me? What are you talking about, kid? You supplied the materials, they're yours." Even though he was trying to hide it, he was smiling. The chance to use rare materials doesn't come often. And to his surprise, the swords came out better than he thought.

"Oh my god! Really?! Thank you, Thank you!" Lance kept bowing to him so fast that it was a miracle he didn't give himself whiplash.

'Lance, the time!' Vixen noticed the Sun's was about to rise, 'If we don't leave now, we will be late. I don't want to think about what Elandra would do.' She shuddered at the thought.

'Sh*t, let's go then'. With that, Lance gave one more bow before collecting the swords and rushing out the door.

"Still a really strange kid". Lokarn couldn't help but admire the kid as he watched him leave.
