The forgotten demigod

Synopsis: Year 0 , First Period The Nothingness, a universe fated to an endless cycle of destruction and creation. The first being born in that universe, The First One gave birth to the life on the universe. Time passed. An all out war fell upon the universe. The ones below The First One battled each other and countless lives were lost. The First one and two of the remaining beings swore a vow: No more killing, no more creation. Countless years later, twelve gods have the duty to oversee the universe. One of the gods is carrying a child, and that child is fated to bring the destruction to the universe once more. Reincarnated in the Ayon planet with an elf body, the story of the Forgotten Demigod starts. IMPORTANT!!! When the novel get 15+ power stones on a week, the next will have a bonus chapter. You know what to do~ - This novel is somewhat fastpaced, if you like how I write then great, if you don't, well, I'm sorry. My opinion about this novel is: It is at least worth a try. It might be a little confusing on the start, but trust me, as the chapters goes on, it become great. The MC is easy going, as if he don't care about anything, because he is a god (A pretty selfish one I must say) and on top of that he disregards life (In general). The romance tag is not a bait, *BUT* it will take a looong time for it to shine on the actual plot. - Editor and reviser needed!!!! (I will pay when this novel is worth something.) - Release schedule: 2 chapters/week (Between friday and sunday) Chapters are being revised constantly - Tradução/Tranlastion PT BR: https://vulcannovel.com.br/sde-o-semi-deus-esquecido/ - Call me on discord! Im open for Q&A anytime: ValenceWR#9975

A little spark in the darkness 14.1

I clean my face with a piece of cloth. "Way better." The house was quite small, just one floor. On the right, are five life forces. One, two... five bodies. The last body had a sour taste. (This granny was sick. Not anymore, at least.)

I go to different rooms. Three more dried bodies. The nine cores left were on the rear of the building. Two cores were close together, probably on the same bed. In the same room is a faint life force. (A newborn. I won't bother them.)

I need a supply of daily life force to maintain me alive, but I`m not a monster. Not at all times. I ignore the main bedroom. My target was alone in a room downstairs. I go to the room on the right. (Four... Nah, I`m not in the mood for a complete wipeout tonight. I'll pass it.)

The other life force comes from the room on the left. I can absorb it and then go for the target, or go straight to my prey. I focus on the thread connecting me and the other soul (Life force is more or less the same as the soul, so let's keep it like this.)

The other soul is strong, obviously not as the target, but strangely stronger than the others so far. I decide to meet the owner of the soul. "I may kill him, just to test his strength." I slowly walk to the room.

When I get close, the door suddenly opens. I halt instantly and jump to the right. An arrow comes from the inside of the room, almost hitting my left arm. (Interesting!) I leap forward, dodging another arrow. "You'll need more than this to beat me!"

I dodge the third arrow when I pass through the door. Inside the room is a man with a crossbow in his hands. I smile and leap in his direction. He snorts and dodges. He succeeds, just for an inch. I stop, smile and bow. "Pleasured to make your acquaintance, may I know your name?"

The man squints, but he doesn't lower his guard. "Why should I answer? You don`t look like someone interested in words." I laugh quietly and straighten my back. Our eyes met. "As a fellow elf, of course. Your abilities are quite good, so I want to know your name, just in case."

The man was actually an old dark elf with dark gray hair, dark gray skin, and black eyes. "Fellow elf?" He aims at my head. "Oh, sorry. I forgot a little detail~" I cover my face with my right hand.

I return my face to its original form. The old dark elf relaxed a little. "C-could it be?" The crossbow is still aiming at me, however, he is far calmer. "The Savior? No, but something like that. Let me see your mark." He turns around and shows me his nape.

In it, a black brand with several layers. (He is an old-school slave... Poor pops. I'll end your suffering, soon enough...) I raise my hand to touch the brand. "It won't take long. Stay still." My cold hand touches his nape. He immediately passes out.

"The least I can do is to make it painless... Rest well, you have been through enough." I didn't dry his body completely. (What a strong soul. I can't even imagine what this man went through. Again, rest well.)

I bow to his dead body. For a minute, I didn't move. That is the utmost respect I could give to the unfortunate mortal souls. One day, my hands, no less, will purge the suffering, hunger, misery, and sins of this world.

Add to your library and use your power stones! Stay tuned for a new chapter at least twice a week!
