"If you knew the truth this whole time why wasn't I informed?"
His eyebrows raised themselves and he gave me a confused look. "Zaryn, what do you mean?" He asked me as if I was crazy.
"I'm saying I could have been warned ahead of time to avoid the very public and sudden revelation that took place in the courtroom. In front of everyone, I seemed a fool especially when Laika was made to take the stand without my knowledge," I explained my dilemma to him.
"You seem more concerned by the fact that you were embarrassed in public than the fact that you almost had an innocent person killed." He questioned me.
I found myself speechless once again. Well, I didn't know she was innocent at the time but I do feel bad about the situation.
