I took notice of the interface that looked similar to that game I used to play. Back in the day, I didn't have a high level character, but I've wasted plenty of time into it. I had information about this interface transmitted into my soul when I also received it. There isn't all that much to it at the moment though, and I'll need to unlock or evolve the system.
First off, there are many features I don't have. I want to question why they referenced a game when I don't have any of those features. I don't have an inventory, an equipment details page, prayer or magic pages, friend's list, chat box, or even a god damned mini-map and compass. They only tabs I have are stats and quests. I do have two indicators: health and energy. But they are represented by a non-numerical representative of a container filled with a colored liquid. I know the newest version of the game has a feature like that, but I thought this interface was suppose to have been based on the old school version. What conflicting crap is this I wonder?
I check my stats page and I see this:
Stats:
Strength: (0.7/1)/5
Vitality: (0.7/1)/5
Dexterity: (0.1/0.1)/5
Agility: (0.1/0.1)/5
Intelligence: (0.9/1)/5
Wisdom: (0.2/0.2)/5
Luck: ?/?/?
Fatigue: 42%
This stats page reminds me of the classic game... How conventional, and that fatigue percentage can be useful in my honest opinion. I wonder how this interface will evolve in the future.
I check my quest tab.
Quests:
"Killing Gods for the void"
I went ahead focused on the only quest I had.
Quest: Killing Gods for the void
- You require higher evolution
Reward: For every evolution, you will be rewarded with information to help identify your current progress and next steps required to take for further progress.
- You require higher stats
Reward: Upon reaching required stats to kill a lower god, you will be rewarded with information required to progress with the quest.
- You require 2 essence of mid god stones or the equivalent of 200 low god stones.
- You are required to deliver of said items to complete the quest.
- Reward: Information related to Godhood, Interface upgrades, ??? (You don't meet the requirements to see more details)
- Note: Keep usable stones for self, you can turn in stones of any attunement.
Now that was informative. I don't know how great these rewards are either. I wonder what type of quests I will receive in the future. I also wonder if I can rack up quest points and what they are used for. I went back to the stats page, and noticed that my fatigue went up another 30%. I can also see that my energy indicator goes down as I think and move around. I can tell my strength and intelligence goes down on my stats tab while doing each activity respectfully. I assume my vitality isn't lowering because of the milk In my stomach. I don't have much to do right now, so I'll move around until I run out of energy. I don't have access to an exp bar, but I think my stats can improve by depleting and recovering the stats.
I ended up walking around the den. I can see there are 3 different exits to the room I'm in right now. I don't know how long I've been alive so far, but it's only a pestering thought in the back of my head. There isn't really anything of noteworthy in the den; actually there isn't anything not noteworthy either. Other than the dirt floor, some hanging roots on the ceiling, and that's about it. I just realized that I should have the ability to see in the dark. Very cool is what I'd like to say, but It's not like I have the best of vision anyways. I don't know if I have poor sight or that my dark vision capability is poor. Now that I'm thinking about my senses, I should have very good hearing right? I can hear my mother's heart beat from a few feet away.
I then thought about my other senses, taste. I'm addicted to milk, I don't know think I have great tasting capability. Touch, I think that's average. Smell? Well, I don't really have anything to compare to. Everything smells the same, and I don't know if that's good or bad. Actually, I think I have good smell, Whenever mother left and came back, I think I could smell the difference she made for the room.
To summarize: I have good hearing and poor eyesight.
I checked my fatigue, it's at 93%. It's time for some more milk and going to sleep.
Thanks for the first comment in the first chapter. I've changed some of the internal thoughts to match what I think this character should feel. I've also edited and corrected some typos, and punctuations (like commas while counting the bunnies)
I've also changed the localized options in auto correct in my word processor ('' and '" will appear as normal double quote " now)
