Breaking the Sun Castle
Despite the blast triggering the explosion of his spear beforehand, Archangel Michael was sure his attack managed to reach the dark dragon, at least wounding him. His wings flapped vigorously in the next seconds, dispelling the waves of white flames and dark purple energy that clouded his sight. As the smoke cleared, what he saw next shocked him to his core.
The dark dragon was indeed wounded, his right arm scorched and smoldering, yet he had managed to open the doors to the heart of the Sun Castle—the Sun Ascension Pool—something even Michael did not have the authority to access whenever he wanted.
Before Michael could make a move, the massive doors began to close. The last thing he saw was the dark dragon giving him a cold, mocking smile as the gap narrowed. Rage ignited within him like an inferno.
