Bravos' evolution (I)
Cain and Duke Rellin were flying toward the port city of Bravos, and they were not alone. Accompanying them was Captain Asidius, the same man who had received them when they first arrived in the Trinity Saint Realm. The middle-aged man with the massive shield on his back glanced at Cain from time to time, his eyes carrying a solemn light.
As for Councilman Irion, he had remained in the Saint Trinity Realm. The battlefield was no place for an old man who was not even a Saint Master, and he still had a lot of duties to attend to in the capital, as war consumed resources at a simply ridiculous level.
Cain felt the glance of the Royal Guard captain and only smiled. He knew that part of the reason Councilman Irion had arranged for an escort was to ensure they wouldn't run away and hide during the invasion.
