The Empoyee

"How might you please me, Miss Parker?" "How would you want me, Mr. Holden?" I should stop. It was only a tease I had mindlessly put up, hoping to get a longer moment with him, listening to whatever I had to say, but apparently, he was a persistent young man, one who would get to the end of every matter started. "I'm only scared we don't speak of the same thing here" He followed. "Oh, I very much follow, Mr Holden" "Here's the thing Miss Parker" He began, figure tearing off the chair, approaching my form. I fretted at his incoming profile, eyes averted away, not daring to meet that striking gaze of his. Even in the calming space, I could feel the burn that rushed to my chest. He had soon pulled up beside my form, eyes peering on at my warded off profile. "I'd like to see how so well you think can please me" He called. "If you manage to have me forget how troublesome the morning has been, then I assure you, the position is all yours" Eyes had snapped up to him at once, gaze beholding the sincerity in those grey eyes. "Also.....He paused for a long minute, figure inching closer.....If you manage to have me aroused........ He drew even nearer, breath so close, it fanned against my neck. "Then you, Miss Janet Parker, will be the company's new marketer to be employed" *** He is a 24 year old heir to his father's company. She is a 28 year old lady, fired from her last job for burning the CEO with hot tea. A fiery one she is, not until she meets a man, who is just intent on breaking her.

The reception received upon my entry into Cigg Holdings, was beyond exceptional, I tell you.

Each one of the people bore smiles on their face, with eyes beaming on at me, their arms opened up to receive me, at this point, I was made to believe there was something else to the occasion.

Could I have turned so important overnight.

"Oh, please. Don't get the poor lady, startled" The calm voice of Mr Vettriano soon took the space, with his figure coming right into view.

"We can save the cheers for when eventually she takes office" He chuckled, with hands reaching out to take mine.

"I hope" He added in a low voice.

"Miss Parker, I long awaited your visit" He stepped aside, motioning for me to step into the elevator before him.

Those eyes watched me keenly. Holding onto to every slight movement I gave, with a look of glee I still couldn't decipher.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't meet up on time" My voice was low, eyes watching his fingers set the elevator to the last floor.

"Nonsense, Jane" He brushed it off, figure soon turning to mine.

"I understand it is a matter of great importance. Hence, one shouldn't be hurried"

"Believe me, I'd leave you to ponder on it as much as you, but I only want what's best for you, Jane"

"This is an opportunity that has been centered in your palms" He followed.

The doors of the elevator soon went opening.

Figure stood in front, leading the way, Mr Vettriano resumed every one of those words that did nothing but to have one's focus.

"You know, I should show you to the space we've constructed as your office"

I caught that grin on the face of the man away, while my jaw was left hanging at his words, only now did it strike me how important he carried this.

"Mr. Vettriano" I cleared my throat, form still making sure to tag right behind his.

"Like you said, we really don't need to rush this"

"Of course, Jane. But all of this are minor preps" He followed, soon coming to a halt before a gigantic titanium door. He had snatched a card from his pockets, placing it onto the scanner on the wall, and in a second, I heard the click, accompanied with a green light, blinking on the verifier.

"Welcome to your office, Miss Parker"

The air that hit me upon my entry into the space, was one that left my body shaken.

Now, when I say shaken, believe me I speak nothing of being terrified. None of the such.

I was left shaken at the enormity and intensity that came with the area before me.

Eyes were found gaping on at every single detail that came with the room, from the white polished desk, to the mini bar arranged at a corner. Well that was shocking, cause I don't think I've been around anyone that would create such atmosphere which would only but pull one to get drunk, even though, I wasn't one to take office hours for fun-living.

Yet, Mr Louis Vettriano had been intent on having me every means comfortable, in the best way he deemed fit.

Out of nowhere had he pulled a pack of cigarettes, and from his pockets, he dug out a lighter, tossing over a cig stick to me.

"I-I don't smoke, Sir" I interjected, pulling out that weak smile, that I still couldn't tell if it just was out as a means of respect, or the fact that I was amused at every situation that came about.

"Oh, everyone smokes, Jane" He chuckled.

"Only depends on how you term it" And with that, he had lit a stick, figure approaching mine, while he centered it between my lips.

"If our mind must relax, then our body should too. So also it is, in regards to work" The cloud of smoke puffed my way, got me gasping for breath at once, hands slapping the air that brushed past me, profusely.

"Now be nice and accept this from me, Jane"

And at that low utterance, my hands reached out, grabbing the cigarette from his hands.

With a wide grin, and delight-filled eyes, louis watched me pull the cig stick to my lips, gaze following my every movement.

"That's it, Jane" Followed Louis, head giving a nod.

His form had soon taken low to the ground, with fingers unfastening the buttons of the suit jacket worn over him.

"Now before we get to business, why don't we drown our pains first"
