The Empoyee

"How might you please me, Miss Parker?" "How would you want me, Mr. Holden?" I should stop. It was only a tease I had mindlessly put up, hoping to get a longer moment with him, listening to whatever I had to say, but apparently, he was a persistent young man, one who would get to the end of every matter started. "I'm only scared we don't speak of the same thing here" He followed. "Oh, I very much follow, Mr Holden" "Here's the thing Miss Parker" He began, figure tearing off the chair, approaching my form. I fretted at his incoming profile, eyes averted away, not daring to meet that striking gaze of his. Even in the calming space, I could feel the burn that rushed to my chest. He had soon pulled up beside my form, eyes peering on at my warded off profile. "I'd like to see how so well you think can please me" He called. "If you manage to have me forget how troublesome the morning has been, then I assure you, the position is all yours" Eyes had snapped up to him at once, gaze beholding the sincerity in those grey eyes. "Also.....He paused for a long minute, figure inching closer.....If you manage to have me aroused........ He drew even nearer, breath so close, it fanned against my neck. My eyes froze at the sight of the man coming down the stairs.

He was just as I imagined.

That same striking resemblance he bore with his son. Eyes holding onto mine with a longing stare that wasn't ready to let go anytime soon, they found me shaken.

This was the same man I had heard of, for weeks now.

The same one highly spoken of, my ears barely could take a rest.

Trent Holden.

Only at his form drawing even closer, could I then make out the features he shared with Kristoffer.

Those eyes were similar, smile even befitting, not to forget that brooding energy which surrounded them.

They were just alike, yet different. Trent was much more different.

His gaze never was questioning. It never had me shuddering. One was bound to find a smile plastered on his lips every now and then, which only had me wondering why Kristoffer was an exact opposite to him.

"Miss Janet Parker"

That strong voice bounced into my ears.

With hands stretched out, I awaited him to take it, but he only spread his arms out, pulling me in for an embrace.

An embrace that had me relaxing in his hold.

"Oh, I've heard so much about you" He muttered between the hug.

"Come!" His voice was much cheery, eyes filled with delight. "Dinner has just been served"

And with that he was leading me away from Kristoffer, showing me to the dining area to behold the mount of food, if I wasn't mistaken, I was to dig into.

***

"How was your first meet with Miss Parker like?" The voice of Trent broke out.

Cutlery-bearing hands went striking the loaded plates centered on the table, with his gaze skipping from one bowl to another, perhaps deciding which bowl to dig into first.

"Oh, it was okay" Kristoffer shifted in his seat, fork digging into the strip of meat placed before him.

"Pleasing"

His eyes beheld mine, not for once letting go.

"Soul pleasing"

It barely was audible, but I caught onto it so well, with that gaze of his boring into my skin.

"Oh, I can only imagine" Trent soon called, with eyes lighting up.

"Miss Parker is a brilliant lady" He followed. "She is just what the company needs at this time when it has lost its stance"

I saw the eyes of Kristoffer narrow at his father, gaze intent on him all the while.

"So what plans do you carry for the company, Son?"

"It's all still a work-in-progress, Father"

"The company aims to collaborate with a few names who have pitched their interests in investing"

I beheld the eyes of Trent lighten. Lips growing into a grin, with his hands reaching for the wine-filled glass on the table.

"I did the best thing having you head this business, Cole"

"As the people say, 'You truly are a son of your father"

"Now all of that aside, I believe you overwork yourself these days" He followed.

"You should give your body some rest. Have some time to yourself.....Time to find some happiness, you know"

"You're a man now, Cole" He followed. "I believe you should have a woman at your side"

I watched the gaze of Trent linger on his son, eyes beholding that careless expression Kristoffer bore.

"Maddison just left college, few weeks ago"

"A fine girl she is, that one"

"Yes, she is" Kristoffer called under a breath, eyes reaching to meet his father's.

"She goes on about you, every now and then" Trent followed.

"Not to be a noser.....He drawled, a grin soon tugging at his lips. "But, I still recall that time it was your mother and I anniversary, and you both went into that guest room"

"For half an hour, you were in there with her"

"Father, I'd like to eat please"

"Don't be such a whiner. No one's a kid here"

"Maddison is a fine young lady. Such a beauty to behold. Take her on a—

"Excuse me" The voice of Kristoffer soon broke out, hands tossing the napkin onto the table, while his figure left the room.

The eyes of Trent watched on, gaze soon shifting to my form.

"Oh, forgive him" He smiled. "He gets cranky every now and then"

"Is that how he is in the office?" He questioned, eyes awaiting mine.

It was hard to figure your son out. That, I wished to say to him.

One minute he was calm, and the next, you wouldn't dare being in his presence. That was it, he was hard to read.

"Not always, Sir" I gave a warm smile.

"So tell me, Miss Parker" He began. "What is the office like?"

"Oh, it's been amazing, Sir"

"Brilliant people at every department, not to forget the care and kindness of the workers" I followed.

He fell silent for a while, hands reaching for the glass before him. Throat bobbling, he downed the drink at a go, letting out a sigh the instant he had emptied the cup.

He had soon leaned in, eyes rushing with cheer.

"It's not in my nature to tell.....But rumors are flying around that there is someone you're having an interaction with in the office" His lips grew into a grin.

I choked on my drink at the utterance, eyes snapping up at him.

"Oh, I'm sorry"

His words bounced into my ears, his hands gently patting my back.

"Was that startling?"

"Not at all, sir" I poured out in raspy coughs, my hands soon reaching for the glass of water on the table.

My body relaxed the second I had emptied the glass, eyes soon returning to the questioning ones of Trent.

"They are just rumors, Sir"

"Of course they are. I mean, there is no specific name, yet" He followed.

"But even if there was, I assure you it is never a problem, as long as it doesn't affect your capabilities in the office"

"Also I'd love to know who the gentleman is" He called in a voice that had me swallowing hard.

"Can I use the restroom?" My voice had followed at once, with my figure soon pushing off the seat.

"Of course! It's right down the hall"

And off I went, hurrying past the hallway, tearing down the corridors.

Whatever did Trent mean by rumors were flying round the office?

Had anyone stumbled upon Kristoffer and I having some random engagement? Or were they on to me? Perhaps suspecting that there was someone, due to the extra hours I spent at the office, even after closing hours.

Whichever it was, the thought of it scared me?

Why would one deem it proper having such a large house?

Whichever corner I went to, I was sure to find a door, housing another door, which led to a different room.

The halls which I now stood in, didn't seem to have an end. I could feel my form drowning in its hold.

A figure visible in the ajar door before me, was the first thing my eyes caught onto the instant I had pushed forward.

Gaze peering on, I pushed myself closer, watching that figure peering out the window, with back turned to me.

He must have felt a presence, as he had shifted on his feet, having a glance back, and soon returning his gaze to the outlying environs.

"What are you doing, Jane?" I heard his voice, with profile still away from mine, I only stared on at his figure.

He had soon turned to me, gaze beholding mine.

"I had to find some time to myself" I followed.

"You remind of my mother" He scoffed, hands sliding into the pocket of his pants.

"What is she like?"

"Amusing"

I could be wrong, but I swear I caught a smile cross his face. But in an instant, it was gone.

"Come in, Jane"

That's a first.

Those eyes weren't questioning me, nor were they jolting me, they were only warm. Warm at my incoming profile.

Also, did he just call me by name?

His gaze lingered on my profile, watching as I drew to the window.

The view was divine. Gaze beholding the cars moving on the street away, with tiny figures to be made out from up here.

"You should meet her, someday" His voice called from behind.

"Who?"

"Mother"

Perhaps, it was the silence that came in after, but at his utterance, I found myself swallowing, shoulders falling tense.

"Jane" That voice hit softly against the back of my neck, breath pouring close to my skin.

I had spun around at once, eyes soon beholding the ones before me. How calm they were, enough to get a hold of one.

For a long minute, we stood there, only staring back into the gazes of each other, with his form drawing even closer.

"I'd like to know the things that have you amused, Jane"

"I don't know" My voice was low, eyes betraying me by faltering at his stare.

My gaze had at once skipped to his lips, and in  a second, I had turned away, not wanting to hold there for long.

Body froze.

Froze at the touch of his hands around my waist, with eyes shifting to my lips.

"Your father waits for us" I poured in a whisper.

"My father can wait"

And with that he had pulled my body off the floor, leading me to the bed centered in the room.

Hands trailing up my dress, soft lips sent kisses all over my arms.

At every of his touch, his lips would touch my skin, hands squeezing onto my hips.

He pulled his head low, taking them so they would come in between my thighs, and the instant I felt that tingle, I was bound to get lost.

Arms wrapped around my waist, I gasped at the stroke of his fingers over my area. Hot kisses he sent all over my bosoms, while he busied his hands with grabbing my curves.

"Kristoffer"

I watched him pull my dress up, form getting down to my legs.

"Would you like me to stop, Jane?" He followed in a low breath, with eyes saying otherwise, I was only bound to be found lost in there.

"Don't"

His lips soon came touching against my skin, with hands spreading my thighs apart.

I couldn't contain it. I could feel my body give in, heart filling with warmth, while his lips trailed all around my body.

Fingers holding onto him, he pulled me even closer to himself, fingers teasing the tenderness of my vulva.

His hold was gentle, yet intense.

And only when those grey eyes peered back into my delight-filled ones, did I feel the sticky liquid stream down my thighs, with a grin tugging at his lips at the sight of it.

He had pushed off my form in an instant, figure moving to the window.

"We should leave" He called, back turned to me.

"Father probably has a lot to discuss with you"

I was left with nothing but staring back at that profile, wondering why ever he found it amusing to tease me every now and then.

Right when it was at its height, would he deem it fit to take a halt.

I watched his hands stretch out to mine, and in a second we were making our way out the room, with the silence occupying the space between our figures.

What was this that came between him and I? It wasn't proper, I knew that so well, yet I found myself yearning to have him close every now and then.

This was merely a play.

Him getting to come onto me every now and then, with what I believed to be little to no intentions.

It was a mix of what I was uncertain of. One that left me utterly battled.

The gaze of Trent came beholding our approaching figures, eyes lighting up at once.

"I was beginning to get worried"

"We're leaving, Father" Called Kristoffer at once, hands holding tightly onto mine, while he led me out the room.

"But you haven't even touched your food"

I felt sorry for Trent whose concern-filled eyes followed my form being whisked away.

"I developed an even better appetite"

I heard the voice beside me say, with hands reaching for the door.
