Chapter 1 He Left

In the River City International Airport.

A woman wearing sunglasses pushed a suitcase and got off the plane. Looking at the crowd coming and going before her, she took a lollipop from her pocket and held it in her mouth.

Seven or eight big men in black suits ran wildly into the airport plaza, rushing to the woman, sweating profusely.

"We don't know you came to visit unexpectedly. Sorry, we were late!"

Several big men bowed to the woman, which was very eye-catching.

The woman threw the luggage at them and walked towards the exit, "Okay. Stop. Any news of Phil?"

As the woman said, several big men nodded.

"Ms. Ina, we have found the trace of Mr. Phil. As far as we know, Mr. Phil has stayed at the Loewy family for the past three years!"

"The Loewy family?"

The woman stopped and was slightly taken aback, "There is no Loewy family from the four major families in Capitol!"

A big man hurriedly replied, "It's not one of the four major families in Capitol, but a second-rate family in River City!"

"Second-rate family?"

The woman snorted coldly, "Why is he at the Loewy family?"

The big man thought for a while and wiped the sweat off his head, saying, "Mr. Phil married into and lived in with the Loewy family!"

The woman gritted her teeth violently and shattered the lollipop in her mouth.

"Live-in son-in-law?"

"Well, Phil. Good for you!"

"If it weren't for the troubles in the family now, and you, the heir, need to stand up, I really want to slap you to death!"

The woman walked out of the airport, sat in a Maybach S680 with a frosty face, and gradually disappeared.

"Phil. Wash my clothes!" Phil's mother-in-law Judy Loewy leaned on the couch, took off her coat, and threw it in front of Phil.

"Mom, wait a minute. I'll go after finishing mopping the floor." Phil Yates was squatting on the ground, twisting the mop with his hands.

Judy's face was gloomy, like a dark cloud. She grabbed the TV remote control on the coffee table and threw it towards Phil!

"Didn't you hear me?"

"Go and wash my clothes now!"

"Otherwise, what will I wear to play mahjong tomorrow?"

Phil gripped the mop tightly, gritted his teeth, and became angry. But before he could speak, his wife Claudia Loewy's voice came.

"Phil, do you think you are a big deal?"

"My mother asked you to do some laundry, but you're trying to find an excuse?"

"Are you deaf?"

Claudia's tone was cold, full of sickness and disgust.

Claudia was good-looking. She was 5.6 feet tall, with killer curves and fair skin. She had just taken a shower and was applying moisturizer to her slender thighs.

"You fucking trash. A good-for-nothing. The son-in-law of the Ford family is an executive of a famous big group in River City. But you can't even do laundry and cooking!"

"What am I raising you for?"

"I might as well have a dog!"

Judy overturned the coffee table, making the tea spill all over the floor.

Claudia frowned and looked at Phil angrily, "What are you doing? Are you trying to piss my mother off? Why are you standing there? Go and clean!"

Claudia didn't hide her anger. In the past three years since Phil married into her family, he did nothing but stay at home every day!

She didn't dare to say she married such a useless husband outside!

What a shame!

Next to the bathroom, Phil trembled violently, holding a mop and wearing an apron. The anger in his heart, like a backlog of magma, finally spewed along the cracks. He dragged the mop, kicked over the bucket, and threw the mop violently to the ground.

"Shut the fuck up!"

Claudia and Judy were stunned.

During Phil's three years in the Loewy family, it was the first time he got angry.

Phil gritted his teeth fiercely. It was true that he was a live-in son-in-law with no status!

And the reason why he came to the Loewy family was because of Claudia...

When he was in college, the free-range parenting of the Yates family made Phil, who was away from home for the first time, very uncomfortable. He even often got hungry.

It was Claudia who lent her meal card to Phil. Phil was barely alive, relying on Claudia's meal card, for four years!

Moreover, Phil had to admit he had already fallen in love with her seven years ago when he met Claudia for the first time!

After Phil graduated from university, he always wanted to go back to River City to find Claudia and make up for their relationship.

But Claudia's father passed away suddenly. Before he died, he wanted to find a live-in son-in-law for Claudia to inherit his property in the Loewy family.

Phil didn't want others to be Claudia's husband, so he took the position himself.

In the past three years after getting married, Phil saved Claudia from many disasters secretly.

He was afraid Claudia couldn't escape the shadow of losing his father. So during the three years, he wished he could follow Claudia every day, not leaving her every step of the way. He wanted to be her slave to do laundry and cook for her!

Phil originally thought Claudia would understand his love one day.

But all he got was insult and disgust!

His once hot heart had completely turned cold.

He didn't want to go on like that endlessly. Even though he still loved Claudia, he knew Claudia would never fall in love with him...

Phil took off his apron and threw it on the ground.

Judy suddenly came back to her senses.

"You. What are you?"

"You gotta be fucking joking. You bastard. How dare you threaten me?"

"Good. Why don't you divorce my daughter?"

"I want you to get out of the Loewy family!" Judy stood up, pointing at Phil's nose and yelling.

Phil ignored Judy and looked at Claudia, "I thought you would be touched after my three years of hard work. Now it seems that I overthink!"

"Divorce! Okay."

"Get out of the Loewy family. Okay!"

"I can do that!"

Claudia frowned tightly, "Phil, are you serious?"

Phil smiled, but his smile was filled with endless pain.

"Do you think it's meaningful to maintain such a marriage?"

Claudia nodded, "Okay. Tomorrow morning, we will go to the Civil Affairs Bureau for a divorce."

Judy, standing aside, almost laughed out loud.

"Finally, I got rid of you, a wretch. You stayed at home every day and did nothing but eat and wait to die!"

"Claudia, don't worry. I knew a lot of rich men when I played mahjong these days. With your figure and temperament, you'll find anyone who will be a hundred times better than Phil!"

"At that time, I will marry you off in a glorious manner!"

"Then I'll have a very restful retirement!"

"As for you!" Judy looked at Phil as if looking at the poor guy, "You think you're somebody. A live-in son-in-law asked for a divorce?"

"I tell you. You don't get to divorce!"

"Our Loewy family kicked you out!"

"If you want to divorce, you must return the 40 thousand Claudia's father gave you three years ago!"

"I'm so sorry. I forgot. It's just a waste of time talking to you about the money. Do you have it?"

"You're always trash!"

"Trash deserves to be in the trash can!"

Judy looked at Phil sarcastically.

Phil couldn't bear it anymore. He didn't know why someone like Judy could enter the Loewy family!

She was shameless and mercenary. She was a total villain!

Phil reached into his pocket and threw a bank card directly at Judy's face!

"You want money? Okay. There are a hundred thousand in it!"

"It's enough to cover the 40 thousand and my necessities for the past three years!"
