Chapter 2 Take Care of Yourself

Judy sneered at Phil, "Aren't you naive? How do I know if there is money in it?"

"A good-for-nothing. Do you get a hundred thousand?"

"Are you kidding me!"

Judy rolled her eyes.

Phil gritted his teeth, looking at Judy as if fire could seep out of his eyes. For a moment, Judy had an illusion Phil might violently kill her!

"Judy, I'm glad we lived for three years!"

"I'm also glad that you are Claudia's mother!"

Judy opened her mouth but didn't know what to say. For some reason, there was fear across her heart, and a chill rushed from her skull!

Phil looked away from Judy and set his eyes on Claudia.

"Tomorrow morning, I will wait for you at Civil Affairs Bureau!"

After speaking, Phil turned around and was about to leave.

Just after taking several steps, he stopped suddenly.

"Also. Don't worry about my things. Just throw them all away..."

"Anyway, I'm never coming back!"

"Seven years..."

"Claudia, I really regret it!"

After Phil finished speaking, he walked out of the Loewy family without looking back.

The night in River City was bitingly cold.

Phil wandered on the road. Behind him, a red Ferrari engine roared. It almost turned the aisle at the fastest speed and finally stopped in front of Phil.

The Ferrari door opened. A woman with a pair of slender, straight, round and fair legs stepped out of the car. Then, in a tight white skirt with long fluttering hair, she smiled charmingly at Phil.

She was taller than Claudia.

She was also prettier than Claudia.

"Mr. Yates, Mr. Boris called and asked me to pick you up." The woman walked to Phil.

Phil took a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and put it in his mouth, "It's so late. Sorry to bother you."

The woman named Renee Clerk was one of his college classmates. But unlike Claudia, Renee was the school belle when she was in college.

During the four years of college, Renee naturally had no interaction with Phil.

But three months ago, she accidentally discovered that her college classmate was the president of Optimus Group when Renee joined the company!

From that day on, Renee got attached to Phil.

She even gave up his position as supervisor and became Phil's secretary.

Staying by Phil's side every day, she hinted at him overtly and secretly.

She didn't give up after learning Phil was married.

"Did you quarrel with Claudia again?"

Renee leaned beside Phil, looking at Phil's side face. For a moment, she was a little obsessed.

Phil shook his head with a wry smile, smoking a cigarette.

"I'm gonna divorce!"

"Divorce?"

Renee frowned.

It turned Renee's world upside down.

Phil stomped out the cigarette butt and smiled wryly again.

"When I returned to River City three years ago, it happened that Renee Clerk's father passed away. The company was also in a debt crisis. The family relatives even wanted to occupy her father's inheritance. So Claudia was in a bad state of mind during that time."

They got in the car. Renee sent Phil back to his house.

Among them, the villa 001 was heavily guarded all year round. No one knew who lived in it.

Only Renee knew it was Phil's home.

At noon. In the Civil Affairs Bureau.

Watching the steel stamp land on the photo of the divorce certificate, Phil suddenly felt a little dazed.

The seven-year relationship between Claudia and him seemed to be completely over!

"We are divorced. From today on, we have nothing to do with each other!"

Claudia picked up the divorce certificate and looked at Phil.

"Was it Phil?"

"How is it possible? The trash has nothing to keep me. I divorced him for my better future!" thought Claudia.
