Chapter 15

The flash Back.

Unknown Location: Somewhere in the forest.

As Lysander walked through the dense forest, determined to escape the clutches of Lord Leviathan's kingdom, his mind was filled with a resolute determination to never return. With each step, he could feel the weight of his past fading away.

Exhausted and in need of shelter, Lysander's eyes caught sight of a weathered sign that read "Mathelda's Brothel." Curiosity piqued, he cautiously entered the establishment, only to be greeted by a swarm of eager ladies vying for his attention. Wanting nothing more than solitude, Lysander paid the owner extra to be left alone.

Ascending the creaky stairs to his meager room, Lysander couldn't help but notice the disheveled state it was in, resembling more of a pigsty than a place of rest. Despite the less-than-ideal conditions, he resigned himself to make the best of it.

As he lay on the lumpy bed, memories of Lord Leviathan flooded his mind like a torrential downpour. The weight of their encounters, the power dynamics, and the haunting presence of the lord himself consumed his thoughts. It was a tumultuous mix of fear, anger, and a burning desire for freedom.

But in that moment, Lysander made a silent vow to himself. He would not let the memories of Lord Leviathan define him any longer. This was his chance to break free, to forge a new path, and to reclaim his own destiny.

With newfound resolve, Lysander closed his eyes, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. The journey to liberation had only just begun, and he was determined to emerge stronger, wiser, and free from the shadow of his past.

Leviathan and Lysander.

2 Years Ago: Before Ambrose Death.

Lysander cautiously stepped into the room, bowing deeply before the imposing figure of Lord Leviathan, the harbinger of chaos and ruler of realms. His head remained lowered, awaiting permission to raise it. Lord Leviathan rose from his seat, stooping down to Lysander's level, gripping his face firmly in his hand.

"I entrusted you with a task, Lysander," Lord Leviathan's voice echoed with a mix of authority and menace. "Find her and eliminate her before she turns eighteen. Or do I need to remind you of the consequences of defying my orders?"

Lysander trembled, his voice quivering as he hastily replied, "Ambrose has acquired a new girl from Jeglaxath, my Lord. He has kept her hidden, refusing anyone access. I believe he already has her."

In a fit of rage, Lord Leviathan unleashed a powerful kick, sending Lysander hurtling through the air, crashing against the wall. "Why did I entrust such a fool like you with such a crucial task?" Lord Leviathan's voice seethed with anger. "Did I ever ask you to monitor Ambrose and his choice of girls? Don't be a fool. Find Diana and bring her to me!"

Lysander, gathering his resolve, rose to his feet and replied, "She is missing, my Lord. The only person who can help us find her is Ambrose himself." Leviathan approached him, his voice dripping with a deadly warning, "If you fail me even in the slightest, you will meet a swift demise. Understood?"

With those chilling words hanging in the air, Lysander left the room, determined to fulfill his mission. The stakes were high, and the path ahead was treacherous. But Lysander knew that he had no choice but to find Diana and bring her to Lord Leviathan. The clock was ticking, and the fate of realms hung in the balance.

End Of The FlashBack.

With a heavy sigh, he sits up, his mind filled with regrets and thoughts swirling around. The desire for power nearly cost him his life and that of his friend. There was no turning back now, only moving forward. He couldn't go back to the academy for the time being, hoping that Vega had returned after her day off to keep things in order. All the hard work seemed to have gone to waste, but he shakes his head, realizing that his plans didn't go as expected. Pulling the curtains, he contemplates the new path ahead.
