Paimon

I was slowly following behind Athena as she bounced down the trail, excitement flowing through her.

"Athena?" I cautiously called.

"Yes Paimon?" She replied without turning around.

"We have one stop to make before heading to the palace." I scratched my neck in stress.

This could either go really really well or really really bad.

Bad meaning I'd lose my head and their would be a war in the Athens.

Good meaning I keep my head but still a possible war.

"Oh?" Athena finally stopped and faced me.

"We need to go get Ares too." I flinched like a scared little boy.

"Okay." She smiled and walked past me, back up the mountain.

"Okay?" I repeated.

Was this really Athena?

"Yep." She nodded and went back to humming.

Okay. Maybe this would work out.

I followed Athena all the way up the mountain and to the front door of Ares' cave.

She didn't hesitate to bang on the wooden door.

"Ares! Open up sunshine!" Athena sang.

Would it be too late to run? No probably not.

"Yooohooo!" Athena continue to bang on the door until it was suddenly opened.

"Athena, I told you next time I saw you, I'd have your head." Ares' very large figure filled the doorway.

"Don't care! Persephone is home!" She squealed.

"She is?" Ares stepped out of the doorway and looked around until his red eyes landed on me.

"Who the fuck are you?" He stomped towards me.

"I'm Paimon. I'm from Hell. May know me as the man with the ca-"

"What are you doing up here?" Ares cut me off.

"I came to get you and your sister. We need help." My voice was surprisingly deep and I sounded confident.

Wonder where the hell that came from.

"Of course. Lucifer only bothers to speak to us when he needs something. Tell him to get aids." Ares smiled and retreated back to his cave.

"Not Lucifer. The man with a white beard and a muffin top?" I cocked an eyebrow at the back of his head.

"God? Why are you talking to him?" Ares and Athena shared a look of confusion.

"I'm friends," I coughed,"with Persephone. So is Thanatos." I shrugged.

"And Thanatos is friends with god who is friends with Zeus?" Athena prompted.

"Correct." I watched The gears in Ares head go to work.

"Okay. What do we need to do then?"

Ivy

"Good girl,Alice." I caressed the strip of white hair on the back of her neck.

We slowly descended onto the land of the Athens.

I have no idea what I was expecting but definitely not this. There were beautiful structures that reminded me of Rome.

Gigantic oak trees and green grass for miles. It was like summer here, but apparently year round.

"Stay here, okay?" I hopped off the Pegasus and slowly walked down the stone pathway which lead to the large building in the middle.

"Hello?" I called once I reached the building.

"Lovely maiden! Welcome!" A small Minotaur came tapping from behind a pillar.

"Thank you?" Very odd creature.

"How may I assist you?" He gave me the widest grin I've ever seen.

"I'm looking for Artemis and Hestia." I stood straighter.

"Oh my! They're in the dining hall right now. Would you like me to take you to them?" The Minotaur began tapping in place.

"That would be great," I returned his previous smile and trailed behind him as he lead me to the cafeteria.

I took in my surroundings as we walked. There were drawings all over the walls. Little symbols and sometimes Roman numerals.

I wish I would of paid more attention in my mythology class in high school.

Maybe if I knew I was going to be Persephone when I hit 22, I would've of.

"Oh miss, may I ask who you are?" The little Minotaur stopped abruptly.

"Oh I'm Ivy- or um Persephone." I watched as his face contorted with happiness.

"You're back! Oh my lovely!" The man child horse thing hugged my waste.

Did everyone know who I was?

"I am," I chuckled.

"I knew it! Let's hurry and get you to the girls." He clapped and picked up the pace.

I followed along the best I could. Who knew a man with little legs was faster then a full grown woman?

"Artemis! Hestia!" I watched as the Minotaur jumped on the table and ran down the center.

Food splashed over the sides and on to the woman sitting around the table.

"Holy cow, Minnie! What's going on?" A tall brunette stood and held onto the handle of what could only be a sword.

"She's back!" Minnie squealed.

"Who?" Now the red head stood.

Wait Artemis and Hestia?

"Persephone! She's back!" Now the whole table stood and started cheering.

Why was I so popular up here?

"Where is she?" Artemis asked once the crowd settled.

Uh-oh. It's going to be like visiting grandma again.

"There!" Minnie pointed to me and in an instance I was surrounded by woman who were hugging me and welcoming me.

"Thank you." I smiled at all of them.

"I'm glad to see you but why are you up here and not with Hades?" Hestia asked softly.

"That's why I'm here actually. Can I talk to you two in private?" I nodded my head towards the hallway.

"Of course, hun." They said in sync.

Creepy.

The goddesses followed me out into the hall and shut the heavy door to the cafeteria.

"Alright so what's going on?" Artemis asked with crossed arms.

"Okay so, Hades wants to marry me." I huffed.

"And the problem?" Hestia looked at me with tired eyes.

"He's only marrying me for my powers. You know the ones I got from Zeus and Demeter?" I tapped my foot.

"Oh my. I didn't know you got both of theirs." Artemis stared at hestia.

"Me either." Hestia and I said in sync, causing all of us to laugh.

"What are you going to do?" Hestia questioned me.

Well I guess it's time.

"We are going to go to war. Heaven, Hell, And the Underworld." I closed my eyes.

It sounds to unreal saying it out loud.

"Okay. Let's get going." Artemis gave me a big smile.

"What? We can't just up and go! We have duties here." Hestia sounded angry at the idea.

"And they will be here when we return." Artemis once again smiled.

Thank god she was being positive.

"If we return. I can't go, I'm sorry." Hestia hugged me.

"It's okay." I patted her back.

"Take care." She nodded at Artemis and returned to the cafeteria.

"Well then. Shall we?" Artemis bowed.

"Sure," I chuckled.

Hopefully Paimon and Thanatos got their gods.
