The three of them pushed aside the portrait of the Fat Lady and crawled out of the hole.
"Who is it? Who goes out at this time?" The Fat Lady opened her blurry eyes and grumbled disapprovingly as she glanced at the three departing shadows.
Albert and the twins remained silent as they quickly walked through the corridor towards the hallway where the tapestry of the giant was knocking the brains out of Babbling Berty.
"Is this the place you mentioned?" George looked at the wall opposite the tapestry and asked in a low voice.
"Yes, right here. You need to focus on the desired location and walk past that wall three times, and a door will appear on the wall," Albert signaled the twins to stand aside and began to concentrate, preparing to open the entrance to the Room of Requirement.
However, when he passed the wall three times, he found that no door appeared on the wall.
"No door?" Fred and George looked at Albert with puzzled expressions.
Albert gazed at the wall opposite the tapestry, falling into a brief silence. Before the twins could speak again, he pushed them both aside, urging everyone to leave this place quickly.
"What's going on?"
After walking a short distance, Fred stopped and asked in confusion, "Could it be that you..."
"There's someone inside. There's someone in the Room of Requirement," Albert said with certainty. "We can't open the door from the outside only when there's already someone inside, unless you can guess which room the person inside is in."
"Are you sure you didn't open it incorrectly?" George asked skeptically.
"It's impossible. I've been inside several times before," Albert shook his head and said, "Besides, I have no reason to deceive you. It would be meaningless to do so."
The twins looked at each other, believing that Albert had no reason to joke at this moment, and he didn't seem like he was joking.
"Who do you think is inside?" George curiously asked.
"I don't know, but it's likely to be a couple. After all, it's a perfect place for a romantic date, and no one would disturb them," Albert casually remarked, "However, very few people know about this place."
"Why?" Fred asked, puzzled.
"Would you be willing to share a secret with too many people?" George rolled his eyes.
"Exactly," Albert nodded. "The Room of Requirement is a magical place. It provides you with whatever space you need."
"It's really that magical?" both of them exclaimed in unison.
"Why not?" Albert whispered, "Let's try again another time. Of course, if you don't believe me, you can assume I'm just tricking you."
"Why wouldn't we believe you?" Fred said, "That place will be our secret hideout from now on."
"Have you thought about how to use it?" Albert asked in return.
"Not yet," George pondered, "But at least when we roam at night, we won't have to worry about being stuck outside the common room overnight."
"Look at you, that's all you can think of," Fred scorned.
"And what about you?" Albert asked back.
"I... haven't decided yet," Fred muttered.
"You dare to say that about me?" George sneered.
"And what about you?" Both of them looked at Albert simultaneously.
"Me?" Albert paused for a moment. "In the future, I can brew potions, practice magic, find a quiet place to do homework, or create something here."
"And it can be used as a chamber pot when you need to pee."
"And for dates too."
"Tell us, do you have a crush on a girl and planning to leave George behind?" Albert asked with a serious tone.
"Why does it sound like I'm the one being dumped?" George looked speechless.
"Stop messing around," Fred couldn't help but roll his eyes. He changed the subject and said, "Let's take you to explore other places first. We know many hidden passages. We can visit the library later!"
"Alright, that's a good idea," Albert nodded and agreed with the twins' proposal. It would be an opportunity to make progress in exploring Hogwarts.
As for who was using the Room of Requirement, Albert didn't believe it was a couple, although he couldn't rule out that possibility. He had other thoughts in his mind.
Who was the most suspicious person at Hogwarts?
Undoubtedly, it was the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
Although Barty Crouch Jr. had left a good impression on Albert, every Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts was suspicious:
From Voldemort's Death Eater, a part-time writer and fraud, a werewolf, a fake Moody who was actually a Death Eater spy, a trouble-seeking Ministry toad, a double agent, to the final Death Eater siblings.
Actually, Albert suspected Professor Brode because they had encountered him here before.
Could he be another one of Voldemort's minions?
Albert began to speculate, but quickly dismissed the thought.
If it was a Death Eater, there wouldn't be many who would be willing to talk to a Muggle-born wizard. After all, Death Eaters despised Muggle-borns, that was a fact.
"This way..." Fred led the way, and the three of them stopped in front of a knight statue. The twins showed Albert how to use the password to open the secret passage.
For the majority of the time that followed, the three of them wandered around the castle. Albert was satisfied with their progress in exploring. After George showed him the secret passage leading outside the castle, he couldn't help but wonder if Sirius Black had used this passage to infiltrate the castle years later.
"Peeves is on the third floor. Should we use him to wake up Filch?" Fred suddenly suggested while examining the map. "Having Filch search for us everywhere would be fun. He probably hasn't been asleep for long."
Both of them looked at Albert, waiting for his opinion.
"Alright, but where do you plan to hide? Don't tell me you want to play hide-and-seek with Filch inside the castle," Albert agreed.
"We can cause some trouble for Filch, and with your Disillusionment Charm, he won't be able to catch us," Fred said, winking at Albert, apparently he came prepared.
"Alright, how do you want to do it?"
"You guys hide first, then watch me." Fred disappeared in a flash.
"Here we go!" Albert raised his wand and lightly tapped George's head. The latter shivered all over and was astonished to find his body blending into the surroundings.
"This is so cool!" George used a Lumos charm to inspect his body and said excitedly, "I bet even if I stood right under Filch's nose, he wouldn't be able to catch me."
"It's best not to take any risks. My Disillusionment Charm isn't that sophisticated," Albert reminded himself after using the charm. "If Filch pays close attention, he might still be able to detect us."
They had just exchanged a few words when they heard Peeves' howling from the other end of the corridor, "Students out of bed, wandering around at this ungodly hour!"
"Last time, when we roamed at night, we encountered Peeves. That's how he acted," George winked at Albert. However, he forgot that he had the Disillusionment Charm on, and no one could see the expression on his face.
Soon, Fred came running over in a hurry and was pulled by George into the secret passage behind the portrait.
"That's so cool, I didn't even notice you guys," Fred observed their bodies and said excitedly, "Albert, quickly cast the Disillusionment Charm on me."
