*TSUKAUCHI POV*
Hell that's what the past couple of months have been not only for the heros but for the police.
Ever since the purging of the heros and H.P.S.C the police have had to step up more. While not a bad thing it certainly was staggering especially for the new ones. Slowly but surely the police made their presence know to the public and villains.
While they adjusted to the new respect they got not only from the everyday people but from the government as well in the form of funds, the world slowly began to change.
They worked more closely with heros not only just booking who they brought in but playing more vital roles and helping take down villains even before the heros arrived.
In Tsukauchi's opinion it was a good change one that was beneficial to everyone involved. Things however took a turn for the worst after the U.S.J incident.
Someone who they previously thought was dead turned one if his best friends dead sensei grandson into a villain who was killed by the Brotherhood.
Then an influx of missing persons dating back decades turned up. That mess was also apparently the doing of the Brotherhood, then it happened.
Almost every prison was destroyed and the prisoners disappeared. While investigating he got word from Nezu, the Brotherhood sent news...war was coming.
He wanted to call bullshit but when Tartarus fell he knew. This wasn't the work of an overly ambitious villain this was someone preparing for war.
Evacuation routs were made for every city, supplies were called in wepons armor, food, cloths. War was coming and they weren't going to be caught off guard.
Then the Brotherhood made their move. The heros and the government were aware of the M.L.A and were waiting to see their stance on the matter when they got news from Deika.
It was a massacre the only ones who were left alive were the children, elderly and pregnant women.
The only thing they got from the survivors were almost hysterical bables about a demon that was in the shadows. They wanted their rooms with as much light as possible and would have panic attacks when left in the dark.
The streets painted red with blood the stench of copper and rotting flesh filled the city. They had initially thought it was an escaped convict from Tartarus but all that was thrown out the window when they found the word BROTHERHOOD along with the drawing of an oni mask was found drawn in blood on the walls.
It was a message but not for them.
Tsukauchi was dragged out of his thoughts when Nezu spoke to him. He as well as Sansa were both in a meeting at U.A. A member of the H.P.S.C was their as well.
Nezu: "Detective Tsukauchi do you have any leads on the whereabouts of All for One or the Brotherhood?"
Tsukauchi: "*sigh* No. There is nothing, they were hard to find before and now they have all but disappeared."
Nezu: "What about you Recovery Girl? Has Eri told you anything?"
RG: "No. She refuses to talk about them in any capacity. I haven't heard anything from Senju either."
Kia (H.P.S.C representative): "Maby we should try taking a...firmer hand in questioning the girl."
RG: "NO! You nor anybody else will lay hands on her."
Kia: "We have one of the most dangerous people to exist gathering an army of villains and another group that slaughtered a city's worth of people. The brotherhood might have information on All for One, we have someone that has information on them, and that they care about.
Speaking of which why aren't we using her to bring them out. They care for her and if we play our cards right we take the Brotherhood out and will only have to worry about All for One."
Tsukauchi: "You said it yourself they killed a cities worth of people and have been taking on heros since they first started out.
If you want to hurt someone they care about and put yourself in their sights, then by all means do so. But don't expect us to protect you or your people."
Tsukauchi could see it in his eyes he wanted to say more but ultimately thought better of it.
Oboro: "I know I'm new to this but wouldn't be better to focus on All for One and his movements? If the Brotherhood wanted to take us on then they wouldn't have warned you and gave you time to prepare."
Nezu: "Just because they helped us doesn't mean they are on our side. If I had to guess then I would say they want us to clear the streets as quickly as possible when it starts. One less thing to think about."
Izuku: "Why go after the M.L.A?"
The question had everyone stop.
Izuku Midoriya was brought into the fold due to his relation with Allmight. He stayed silent for the most part, even Oboro Shirakumo who had previously been a nomu spoke up more despite the fact that he has been out of the game for nearly a decade.
Nezu: "What do you mean Midoriya?"
Izuku: "If they are focused on All for One then why wipe out the M.L.A? There is only two reasons they would do so that I could think of.
One: They wanted to make sure that they wouldn't try to get involved and take advantage of the up and coming war.
Two: They already chose a side and they was getting rid of one of his allies."
Sansa: "Do you think that they were taking out an ally of All for One?"
Tsukauchi: "It would make the most sense. I've worked on their case since they started. They wouldn't go out of their way to go after the M.L.A unless they were actively trying to hurt people."
Eraser: "If they truly wanted to they would have taken out the M.L.A long before this."
Nighteye: "What's done is done right now we should focus on what to do next. I think we should start evacuating. Doing it quietly and quickly will be important. This is clearly a big move on the Brotherhood's part and we can expect an equally brutal response from All for One."
Nighteye had been shooting Midoriya scathing glances. Tsukauchi had an idea why. He was told that Midoriya was Allmight's successor and to say Nighteye didn't take it well was an understatement.
When Nighteye called Midoriya incompetent and pushed forward his candidate for a successor saying "A first year brat shouldn't have his quirk especially now that he is confirmed to be alive."
Midoriya's response was to tell Nighteye that if wasn't going to help then he should leave. That they didn't need someone holding them back simply because he believed he could do better.
The glare that Nighteye sent him was down right murderous. Tsukauchi believed that the only reason they didn't come to blows was because of Gan Torino's interference.
That old man was terrifying and even more short tempered after he heard about Nana Shimura's grandson.
Nezu: "I agree we need to start evacuation. Tsukauchi, Kia do you think we can up our patrols?"
Kia: "It'll be difficult but it can be done on our side."
Tsukauchi: "Yes."
Nezu: "Good we have a lot to do and little time to do it. Let's move people and have keep safe."
With those final words everyone got up and left to do their part. There was a lot more to talk about but time was running out the protection of the people vame first.
*KAYANA POV*
Kayana was an average woman a couple of years ago. She worked in HR for a local chain of stores. Her quirk paper let her make different kinds of paper in different formats she was basically a printer.
One day on her way home she was dragged into an alley and knocked out. When she woke she was tied to a bed barely dressed and missing all of her belongings.
She had later learned that she was in a drug den and was taken because their leader a man going by the name Scorpion took a liking to her.
For the next four months she was drugged and repeatedly raped. She had lost hope of ever being saved.
She was unresponsive to anyone and anything. She remembered the day she was saved for her it was the day she was dragged out of hell.
She could vaugly remember screams and cries for mercy. She had thought they grabbed another girl.
It wasn't until a somewhat small calloused hand gently grabbed hers and began to lead her out that she realized something was different.
She didn't fully come to until she saw the broken body of her main tormentor.
Limbs twisted in unnatural ways, lower jaw dislocated and hanging in a way one might think it was torn off. His nails torn out and claw marks on the floor made it clear it was done in an attempt to escape.
When she saw him she couldn't help but laugh. She took to kicking him she wanted to kill him but thought better of it. This way he would suffer more just like she did.
She didn't snap out of it until the same hand from before grabbed hers and began to lead her away again.
All she could do is look at the back of this child with crimson hair and tattoos covering his body. He had stayed with her holding her hand until the police came.
Since that day she couldn't get him out her mind he saved her and brought her justice. Her abusers were at best crippled for life and at worst left as a vegetable.
She had looked into him and his group the Brotherhood. Hours of research showed her all of their deeds and all of those they saved.
She had taken it upon herself to reach out to those who went through a similar situation and were saved by the Beast.
As time went by the group grew and eventually gained a name. The Beast's Brides.
What started out as an support group quickly became something else something better.
Kayana: "Silence sisters! The time to prove our love has come! The Brotherhood is preparing for war and we shall join them...we shall join him!!!"
Loud shouts filled the wearhouse that the meeting was being held in. Smiling Kayana grabbed the the mask attached to her hip it was similar to the mask of the Beast but it had a single red slash going down the middle.
Their group started out as sharing the different experiences they all went through then it became a self defense class and eventually they all started to train in earnest. The main wepon used was a kanabo several other wepons were used such as spears, katanas, bows and even some fire arms.
War was coming and they would show their loyalty and love soon enough.
*Yamamoto house hold*
It had been 10 years since their son had left. They didn't know what to do at first, should they file for a missing persons? Should they do nothing? They were going to get rid of him anyway.
They eventually decided to file for a missing persons and hope he wasn't found. It wasn't for a few years until they heard anything about him again.
It was a cop by the name of Sansa he had asked for a photo and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. While confused they complied, the chances of him being alive were slim to none. He was four and quirkless.
About a month had passed until they heard back from the officer. Their son was alive and apparently had awakened his quirk. He became a vigilante going by the name of Ronin.
They were shocked and happy. If they could get their son back then maybe they could help him see the light. They weren't sure if he ran away or if he was taken. At the time it didn't matter.
Now however he had a strong quirk and could fight. The future that they saw for him could be reality if they could just talk to him.
They tried but it proved to be far harder than it should have been. Nobody talked about him or the Brotherhood beyond their deeds. The police just made empty promises of returning him to his home soon.
For years they looked they even talked to the quirkless trash that littered the city. They refused to say anything and when they tried to use force a young boy with the caduceus tattooed on his hands stopped them.
He was a member of the Brotherhood and he told them to leave.
They tried to tell him that they were Ken's parents tried to convince him to take him to him. If they were lucky maybe they could convince the others to join their cause.
To their disappointment and anger he turned them down and told them to leave without harming anyone or else he would remove them himself.
Their response was rather violent. They didn't get to take a single step before they were laying on the ground unable to move. Vision fading the last thing they saw was a portal opening and a pair of cold golden eyes staring straight through them.
When they awoke again it was in a hospital. Giving a fake story about getting robbed while out looking for their son, they redoubled their efforts in the surch for Ken.
News about him and his group flooded the new both good and bad were reported. It wasn't until recently that their deeds dealt with the M.L.A.
Word spread far and fast. The leader of the M.L.A Redestro was killed as well as nearly everybody in Deika city.
Kiyomi and Koto didn't know how to feel. The cause their parents fought for, the cause they fought for was destroyed by the group their son belonged to. On the other hand it showed how strong they were and in this world the strong rule over the weak.
Many of the M.L.A members who lived outside of Deika were wanting answers not only on the state of the cause but from them. They told everyone about their son in hopes of getting extra help finding him and now they are demanding the blood of Ken and the brotherhood.
They didn't know what to do, what could they do?
*KEN'S POV*
I've been searching for All for One information has been scarce and he seemed to slow down some when I wiped out the M.L.A.
Right now I'm modifying my God of War loadout. There are many quirks that are basically the same but have different requirements to activate.
One strength quirk could require food to activate and another of the same strength could be the result of a simple mutation.
When I copy quirks I ignore many of the requirements needed to use the quirk. Sometimes this is helpful and others it can render it all but useless unless I combine it with something else.
A quirk that allows someone to increase their intelligence based on how much they eat a certain item could result in a minor intelligence boost for me.
Thus many of my items have at least two quirks it is rare for me two have one quirk for an item. Each loadout has several items I use only for it and the quiks could reach the hundreds based on what I need. This loadout has well over a thousand.
I needed to make this loadout able to beat All for One and not lose myself in the power it brings me.
*ALL FOR ONE POV*
Gathering a force of this size was troublesome. With the loss of Dr.Garaki he had to find a replacement or replacements.
It takes over five different scientists to do only a fraction of the work he did, and subpar work at that.
He wasn't the symbol of terror he used to be but he was far from weak. When he gathered his forces more than one spoke their...concerns about his ability to lead.
He had quickly and brutally showed his strength.
This wouldn't have been a problem if Tamura was still alive. He would have been the new face of evil and when the time came he would have taken his body. That should have been his future, it would have been his perfect revenge and come back. It was perfect until they interfered.
He had lost irreplaceable tools and a replacement body. He had several backup bodies each had one defect or another but were there for emergencies all the same. Most of them were with Dr.Garaki and everything in his lab and his backup labs were destroyed.
He had resigned himself to stay in this damaged body until he either found or created a replacement. That was until he found out a rather interesting piece of news about Allmight.
His body had been restored. The crippling injuries he had inflicted gone. Organs regrown, and past scars faded into nothingness, all done by one person, Senju.
If he could get his hands on Senju's quirk then he could restore his body to its former glory. And who knows if he keeps Senju alive he might prove to be a decent replacement for Dr.Garaki.
As for the rest of the Brotherhood, they would serve as a good reminder as to why nobody goes against him.
